Medical Specialist reviews in Sunnyvale

I can make an appointment with the audiologist and she would show me the hearing aids available. I wasn't impressed with the doctor or staff. It was pretty straightforward and pretty quick. There was just not a lot to it. Nothing really stood out. It was pretty routine and there's not a lot to say about it. They did it and I came out with an audiogram, which looked pretty much like the one I had several years ago.

The Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Sunnyvale city is a newly opened facility, therefore the building was very nice, inside and outside. The doctor and the health care providers working in this foundation are very courteous and professional. I visited my primary doctor for a annual physical exam, and I would continue to use the facility for my future health consultation.

It was very good, it's just that I couldn't afford it. They are a family run operation and I just felt like they had integrity and they were very experienced and focused on customer service. There is nothing wrong with the pricing for the industry, because I did a comparison and they are fine. They worked as hard as they could to make it affordable. It's just that I ran out of funds. They are a very good firm to work with.

Dr. Henri was -- as always in her more than five years as my physician -- thoroughly helpful, and nothing short of pitch perfect in her response to both the medical and human concerns I presented in my last office visit with her, less than 24 hours after I had experienced the terrifying event of being robbed at gunpoint in the garage of my apartment complex. She provided the same consistently thoughtful, intelligent, compassionate care that I knew I could count on and that is her hallmark, spending focused and unrushed time listening and talking to me, providing emotional support while also ensuring that various aspects of my medical and psychological health would be properly assessed and addressed. In short, my time with Dr. Henri reminded me once more of the best description of the ideal physician I have ever seen, penned in 1873 by the Swiss poet and philosopher, Henri-Frederic Amiel: "To me," Amiel wrote in his posthumously published diary, "the ideal doctor would be [one] endowed with profound knowledge of life and of the soul, intuitively divining any suffering or disorder of whatever kind, and restoring peace by his mere presence." Heather Cohen Henri comes closer to attaining that ideal than we should have any right to expect from mere mortals. She rises head and shoulders above every other physician I have ever known, or ever will.

I saw Dr. Joycellen Floyd for my annual exam. I have written a review for her under Primary Care, but wanted to add her here also because I really liked her. I enjoyed her bedside manner, and she was extremely engaged. For my first visit, we went through my entier medical history questionare in detail, even going over side issues that no one had ever asked me about.

They are efficient. I have been going there for probably 10 years and seeing the same doctor. I think they are fine. The billing and administration aspect is a nightmare like any other place, but I would continue to use them in the future.

X-rays and MRI performed at PAMF after knee injury. Diagnosis in office visit occured about three days later. Approximate 2 1/2 week wait for surgery to be performed at a surgery center in Fremont. Outcome was excellent. Very little pain. I was walking on that knee within a day.

My experience in the Fremont surgery center was poor. All the staff was rushed, even by todays industrial medicine standards. They attempted to get me off the surgical gurney before they had removed all the IV tubes. My clothes had been misplaced. And they were tossing me out on the street before I had emerged from the anesthetic. This being my first surgery, perhaps this is the standard of care now. I would recommend someone to be with you to look after you best interests.

There is nothing I dislike about the practice. We like our primary care physician just fine, I don't really have any complaints. Both of the doctors are good and we like them both. The office is clean and efficient. I don't think billing and administration is their fault, but we did run into one problem with them.

Camino's doctors are excellent. My own two doctors are wonderful and their nurses are competent and helpful. The front desk staff is great too, they are polite and nice. I would never go any place else. I think they are fabulous, I have been going there for ten years.

Camino Medical has become worse since taken over by Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Their "specialists" that a primary care doctor referrs you to and which you spend a fortune on an office visit are a joke.
