    Very well. The first hearing aid just would not fit correctly--too tight, or too loose and falling out. But Lisa persisted and finally worked out a way to make it fit perfectly. Since then (about 5 years ago), I've bought two upgrades and have been very happy with them. Lisa and her staff are warm and friendly, but very professional. They really know what they're doing. The hearing aids I've bought from them have really made a difference for me. I've been enjoying 'stereo' hearing for the first time in many years!

    Excellent experience. The audiologist was thorough, sensitive to the needs of a 95 year old, and did a very professional job. The costs were discussed up front, and the unit ordered with a minimal of concerns. When the unit arrived, the audiologist not only set it up properly, but demonstrated that it did the job, as well as provided instructions on its use, and addressed concerns and problems we might encounter. Could not have asked for a better experience.

    Dr. DeKriek at Fidelity Hearing Center is very patient, very thorough, detail oriented, kind, and has a great bedside manner. The receptionist is wonderful too. They are warm, friendly, and professional. I think Dr. K would be good for anybody, and he seems especially well suited to work with older people.  He takes his time and does not rush them, which is nice. Worth noting: we got the Starkey "in-the-ear-canal" super small model.  Once inserted properly, it's virtually invisible which was an important aspect to Mom. Mom has a very small ear canal, and when we first tried her new hearing aids, they didn't seem to fit correctly. We thought we'd have to chose another more visible model, but Dr. DeKriek tried a little known technique of adding a special fitting to them, and this retrofit made them PERFECT!  Since they can now be inserted properly, they fit like a charm and don't come out. So if you've been told you have too small an ear canal to wear this type of hearing aid, ask Dr. K if he can make them work for you! Lastly, it is amazing to see all the new technology that has dramatically improved the whole hearing aid experience.  Gone are the days of those clunky hard-to-wear  / easy-to-detect models.  Todays hearing aids are so much more advanced than what most folks think of. If you are at all considering hearing aids, do yourself a favor and visit Dr. K for a consultation.

    They're aces. My mother-in-law is 96 and we don't know when she doesn't respond appropriately, whether it's the hearing aid or the comprehension so periodically we go there to get the hearing aid itself tested and checked to make sure. The hearing aid from there was a fantastic job. They resonate with me because my dad was in business years ago and they remind me of a motto hanging up his desk: "First time is a sale. Second time is a customer. Businesses are built on customers, not sales." Universal Hearing Care is about 70 miles apart from where we live, but would I use them again for my mother-in-law? Would I use them for me? That's a yes.
