    LA Builders and Roofing Specialist
I am very pleased with the service i got from this company. They explained to me any my husband everything we asked. They started on Monday and by Wednesday all was completely done and clean. I compare other companies before and by far they were the most professional. Price was very competitive so after finalizing price all we needed to do is decide which company to go with. We choose LA builders and roofing specialists and we will be happy to refer them to anyone who will ask about a good and reliable roofer.

    George Parks Roofing & Painting
We were very pleased with the work done by George Parks Roofing & Painting and their expert crew. The work was completed in a timely manner, and George and Danny were extremely capable in terms of coordinating the work to be done, often giving helpful advice in order to achieve the greatest result. They were responsive to our needs and their team gave their full attention to the smallest of details. Their foreman, Jose, has an exceptional eye and it was a pleasure to work with him. We would not hesitate to hire them for future work. An A+ job.

    Brush Roll & Beyond
Fantastic and thorough job, beautiful outcome!! John, the owner/contractor of Brush, Roll & Beyond first sold us with his highly detailed assessment of the services necessary to paint our sprawling ranch home, which had a myriad of deferred maintenance issues. Although we had several estimates, he was the only person who walked the entire property, carefully looking at every detail such as dry rot, termite damage, loose window glazing, broken gutters, etc., and explaining the issues which caused our severe dry rot in the first place. He spent at least an hour (or more) during his free estimate checking out every nook and cranny of the outside of our home, including going up on the roof to assess issues out of sight and explaining what would need to be done just to prep the home properly for painting. No one else we called (including Angie's List service people) took that kind of time with that level of detail to determine the scope of work, leading us to believe that we could be charged extra for items discovered after their initial estimates. John's hand-written estimate took a bit longer than the others, but spelled out all the details and time frame necessary, even itemizing certain extras we were considering such as painting our iron fence and front doors, so we could include them if we chose during the process. It was important to us that the work not be subcontracted, and John's team has been with him for many, many years, (some more than 20) which was another huge plus. Once we agreed to move forward, the work began right away. Our job was a large one, taking close to a month to complete due to the amount of prep necessary. The team arrived on time, every morning like clockwork, even on Saturdays! If they were early, they respectfully sat in their truck out front being careful to not bother us until it was time to work. They were friendly and kind (even when my young son who is on the autism spectrum was yelling at them to stop touching our house!) and very clean, always leaving the work area tidy for the next day. John himself was on site every day, checking the work and answering questions. He also was available by phone or text anytime, which was great as I have experienced the MIA contractor on more than one occasion. We weren't sure about the colors we wanted and John worked with us, tweaking my original choices, offering suggestions and allowing us to sample several combinations over a period of days to find just the right colors for our home's unique style. When we decided to paint our rusty, faded and chipped wrought iron fence, John suggested we go with a gloss black. I wasn't sure if I would like it but decided to trust him and WOW, did it make a huge difference, making it look brand new and sophisticated, elevating the look of the whole property. They even painted all 6 of our exterior porch lights and freestanding mailbox to match at no additional cost! Ultimately, the house turned out beautiful, looking much cleaner, fresher and more modern, with respect for its traditional style roots. Our paint/repair job wasn't cheap, but fairly priced for the amount of work, and in an area of multi-million dollar homes, well worth it! The work was high quality and significantly improved our home's value. We have received several compliments from neighbors. We will definitely be calling John at Brush Roll & Beyond for more home improvements in the future!

    Nexxus Remodeling Inc
We initially interviewed 7 prospective contractors and obtained 4 bids before deciding on Nexxus. The owner's (Tony Panterra) pitch was that although his bid would probably be higher than the other contractor's, his work was of a higher quality and that he used only the best products. Nexxus, however, did not provide a written estimate, which raised a red flag. However, we ultimately decided to go with Nexxus because it had numerous and uniformly excellent reviews on Angies List from consumers who actually used Nexxus' services (Nexxus did receive negative reviews from persons who thought its bids were too high). The other contractors we considered had a few positive reviews, but nothing close to the long history of strong reviews that Nexxus had. Moreover, although Nexxus' bid was higher than the other contractors, it was not excessively so. More importantly the work was, for the most part, excellent. In particular, the installation of the wood siding was impeccable. Ipe is a notoriously hard wood and difficult to work with. But the corners were sharp and straight with little or no gaps. The iron gates also turned out well although some of the solder joints could have been a little cleaner. Tony, the owner, was very responsive to any changes or requests we made during the course of the project and was on-site at least 1-2 per week to check on the progress of the job. Francisco, the project manager, was present almost every day and made sure we were aware of how the job was proceeding and sought our input on various aspects of the job and made sure we were satisfied before he proceeded with the work. Tony estimated the job would take approximately 4 weeks and he would have been right on target but for several days of rain that halted work. All in all, we were very satisfied with Nexxus' work, would use them again, and would highly recommend them to anyone interested in remodeling their house.

    The Rain Gutter Specialists
We are waiting for a call from Guy today to schedule the work to add a new gutter for the front of our house.  But in talking with Guy I mentioned that we had a particular gutter that was dripping from the downspout.  This is a gutter that Gutter Specialist had not installed.  Guy climbed up on a wall and was able to access the spot where the leak was occurring.  He found that the top of the downspout was clogged with debris.  He cleared the debris by hand and no doubt stopped the leak.  He did not charge us for doing this and did not try to sell us a new gutter to fix the problem.  Guy is friendly and honest.  As I said, we have used them before and are using them again.  I give Gutter Specialists my highest endorsement.

    The Rain Gutter Specialists
I had a great experience using The Rain Gutter Specialists in the past to remove old gutters and install new gutters on the back of my house.  My house does not have rain gutters on the front because the ground slopes away from my house so rain pooling around the foundation has not been a problem.  BUT with all the talk of a huge El Nino this year I figured I should meet with Guy to discuss adding gutters to the front just to be safe.  Even though they were really busy they scheduled to come out to give me an estimate in roughly a week.  Guy and I went over the best way to install them and how and where to install the down spouts so it would they would look good against the house and move the water away from the foundation properly.  After agreeing on a price, Guy said they could come and add the gutters that day.  I was thrilled to receive such fast service since I know they are extremely busy.  When I got home that night the gutters were all installed and looked great - I didn't even need to be home while they did the work.  I just want to say that Guy couldn't be a more pleasant, easy going and nice person to work with.  Thank you, Guy!  I highly recommend The Rain Gutter Specialists!

    Roof Rx
I had a really hard time scheduling. Once I talk to them they had a really hard time making a date with me and I had a preferred date of Friday because of my work schedule, but by the time I got it, I really didn't use anymore, but it was fine. They were very nice people and it's just an odd experience of having such a difficult time scheduling something. I can say that they're perfectly fine people, it's just their scheduling was the problem. I guess they were very busy, so maybe they're really popular, maybe that's a good thing. I don't know. Have I not had my trees pruned, perhaps I would have been constantly bugging them, calling them, but I did as requested which was filling this form they had to choose dates and times.

    The Rain Gutter Specialists
I called Rain Gutter Specialists on a Tuesday after a big storm had create water damage to a full house re-stucco job we just completed.  As the down spouts had been removed right before the final finish the ensuing storm created a water hose from our gutters against the side of the house and had stained the stucco.
I finally got my contractor to come over to repair and re-finish the stucco and lo and behold another storm was forecast less than 2 days after the re-finish.
I called Beverly and Guy and they were immediately sympathetic to our situation.  We had spent an incredible about of money and were about the see the job ending in disaster again.  I explained this to them and while they were booked out for 2 weeks, they said they would do everything they could to try to fit me in before the storm if they could.
It immediately impressed upon me that this was a true sign of top notch customer service and a company that cares about its customers.  Just one day later, I got a call from Guy who told me that he was sending his guys over after they had completed a job early.
The job detail was top notch and they even found a creative solution we had to a hole in one of gutters.  From the first moment I spoke to them to the quality of work provided, I could not have been happier with the job and the customer service.  This was a small job to them but they knocked it out of the park.
I will use Rain Gutters Specialists again and will recommend them to anyone I talk to who needs a Gutter/Downspout specialist.

    The Rain Gutter Specialists
I was very happy with the Rain Gutter Specialists.  Guy Ziv came out on Thursday to give me a bid.  My old rain gutters were falling apart and the old drain spouts were installed in the wrong places.  He discussed with me what would be the best position for the downspouts and how he would handle the uneven slope along the roof edge so the gutters would drain properly.  We agreed on the price and his workers (Johnny and Alfredo) came out on Tuesday.  They removed the old gutters and downspouts, installed about 50 feet of gutters and 3 new downspouts.  The original bid was for 2 downspouts and they did not charge me for the 3rd one.  They completed the job in about 2 1/2 hours.  Johnny and Alfredo were hard working, polite and did a great job.  They cleaned up all the debris before they left and even put the leaf debris from the old gutters in my green recycling bin.  Highly recommended this company!

    Master Gutter
After making an 8 AM appointment for the next day to see Udi, I waited until 8:30 before he arrived. He suggested that the entire system, which was installed 15 years ago, be torn down and replaced, by Master Gutter. He was ready with a bid of $3.50/linear foot. I told him I was not interested and we said our "Good byes." Then, I called Angie's List to request a refund for this Big Deal.
