    Having had a good experience buying some home office furniture from Crest, I returned to buy more cabinetry. But it turns out salesperson Taylor left shortly into this next project, and the lack of professionalism, ethics, and follow-through I experienced in round two was quite extraordinary. What did I experience? Lack of accurate information. Mistakes on the specs. An unwelcome surprise when I was almost ready to buy a very large cabinet that it was not a one-piece cabinet but two side-by-side units (that was news to me). Failure to accurately reflect specs on proposals and quotes. Delay after delay in getting information and responding. Lack of follow-through time and again. And then - many weeks after the pricing quote on two cabinets had been locked in, a sudden decision to raise the price with no apparent reason (excuse? manufacturer made an error in the quote). Buyer beware. Taylor, my original salesperson, is gone - and so is the service that is the basis of some of the good reviews posted on this site. Crest apparently does not value the customer and does not have service as a primary value. (At the end, I decided to take my business elsewhere this time.)

    I worked with Taylor Hurst - who was not only professional but also very responsive. He also went the extra mile in the ordering process and on delivery day to ensure the process went smoothly. The delivery staff, led by Hector Rogelio, was exceptional. They not only exercised extreme care in bringing the furniture in without harming my floors or area rug, but they wiped down every surface and shelf of the new furniture as well as using a vacuum before they left to clean up any minor dirt their installation might have caused. The attention to detail and customer care? Exceptional all the way around.

    The whole process was fun and professional.  The people they used for painting and lighting installations also did a nice job.  The Dwell team was great.  I will use them again for another room in the future.

    Sales personnel very good to work with.  Management responsive and fair in pricing.  Delivery people exceptional - careful, neat, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile (I have dealt with a lot of delivery services, and none have been this good.)  I got a spectacular "look" with good quality and high style results.

    Helpful sales staff.  Delivery people had a very bad attitude.  There were problems with the sofa upholstery and when reported, Bedfellows agareed to repair.  But then the repair staff first called to say they would not be arriving on time (had to reschedule).  On the second try, they called and wanted to come early because they had a schedule change:  I moved a business meeting to accommodate them as long as they could be done in a hafl hour.  Then they called and said they had a parking problem outside.  And then they came in, argued that a couple of boxes were in their way and they "didn't have time" to move them (I have spinal disk issues), spent 15 mintues on the phone with the owner, continued to display an attitude for which I asked that they either stop or leave, and then started the repair which took longer than stated and caused me to miss an important business call  Bottom line:  I would never use this company again.

    And in the interim (before the final last straw), I ordered the bulk of my furniture from Italy 2000 and Rapport Furniture - at better prices with better service.

    AnB Stationery has a whole section for scrapbooking and picture frames. They have a lot of wonderfully unique gifts for people. They have office chairs and just everything you can think of. The staff is just amazing and will do gift wrapping for you if you need it. If you think you've seen an item you might want at another store they will look it up for you and see if they have it.

    In our quest to find the perfect sectional, we looked at a lot of sofas, talked to a lot of people, and learned about all sorts of nifty things like Dacron and chicken feathers. Through all of this, we kept coming back to the Pasadena Sofa Company. Both Chad and Jeannie spent a ton of time with us, always in a helpful, no pressure, and truly welcome way. Every time we have been into the store or spoken with them on the phone, we have been impressed. Jeannie even came to our house for a home consultation (a service they provide for $75, but is free if you purchase a sofa with them), with a bin of tape measures, fabrics, etc. The styles, fabrics, and options are kinda great. Our forthcoming sectional is exactly what we wanted, and we expect we���ll be updating this post with a gushy review of the couch itself once it is delivered. Our only advice for the company is that the website looks a little cheesy from the homepage. Maybe something cleaner/hipper/less busy? A ridiculously minor thing compared to the Sofa Company���s overall awesomeness. To top it all off: free parking (it���s not well marked: take DeLacey past Green, then make your first right, then right into the parking structure under the apartment building).
