Raymond and his crew were super diligent. Their time spent was never wasted, and he really cared about doing a great job. Our neighbor was impressed with their work and asked for their information to have their roof done as well. Raymond came over and thanked us for the referral.

Project went very well. Glenn provided 2 quotes for initial work and 1 quote for add on work. Two of the quotes were for the patio roof, he explained the pros and cons of each option. The third quote was for an add on project. While inspecting the patio roof, he noticed an issue on the main homes roof so he took pictures and showed us; we ended up adding on that repair to the work order as well. He was able to get us in quickly due to cancellation on larger project due to rain. The team doing the work was very quick and professional, cleaned up everything upon departure. My only complaint is that they were going to come back to paint something the next day and I asked for them to let me know when they came because I have dogs I let out every so often and I didn't want my dogs to get out, etc. Well I never heard from the person so I called Glenn and he told me the person had already been here and painted. All was fine but I would have preferred they rang the doorbell or called instead of walking on the property unannounced. Besides this minor detail, I highly recommend Glenn and him team; I've even referred him to friends when asked for a roofing company.

Two appointments were required: one short appointment to assess the job at hand, then a second future appointment (a couple of weeks later) to complete the work. The workman completed the job with time to spare to fix a gutter and kitchen drawer for me. I was delighted that he was so open to help me with these little nuisance jobs that were hanging over my head. I would definitely hire this outfit again.

This whole thing was a nightmare. Representative in San Diego lied to me and Angies List. Destroyed my property and did a horrific job on my roof. Charged an additional $75.00 per sheet of plywood that I had to pay out of pocket outside of contract. I chopse beautiful Amber shingles for my home. In two days came hime to beautiful shingles with a ugly brown stripe on the top ridge of my home. My personal items the decorated my front yard destroyed. Walked to the back of the house to find ugly brown rolled roofing on the back side of my house. Approximately 3-4 feet of my harage roof had been removed (red shingles) and replaced with Amber shingles. Garage not included in contract. The ugly rolled roofing was sloppy and not in solid pieces, horrible job. I was in shock no communication whatsoever. When I asked workers at site what was happening, I eas ignorged. Foreman returned and was agressive and rude. I asked him to leave and he would not continued yelling at me about how good his job was. Due to all the errors and the deception, the horrible job cost me $11333.00. Jared Green is dishpnest and his employees are just as bad if not worse. Quality control came to my home to take pictures today and he was shocked as well. I am taking him to small claims court with the evidence aquired from Angie's List and text messages for the additional $6333.00 plus the cost of my antique stove. These guys only care about money not quality and I have pictures and verification of false information provided to myself and Angies List. Respresentative told me if I signed completion documents he wpuld tear up the $275.00 check I gave him for the 3 sheets of plywood. I paid $600.00 for my stove, perfect condition with papers confirming it's value. The are completely dishonest and unprofessional. Buyer beware. I am also filing a compliant with BBB. No mistake true story and pictures state a thousands words. In addition, they left a huge mess had to call them back on several occasions to do what should have been done by a professional the first time. Do not be fooled, appear nice and professional at first but horrible sloppy job and messy. They get your money and have no regard for honesty ir customer satisfaction.

    Hydro Flow Raingutter Systems Inc
We had gutters installed in June 2016. Initially Robert Wilson, owner of the business, was the person who came to conduct the survey and estimates of cost. Mr Nelson was a real gentleman. He pointed out certain roof-line features and how they could dictate certain water flow and possibly down-spout locations. He shared his observations and opinions, and answered all of my questions. I was very pleased and satisfied with the conversation and estimation procedure. He made a schematic of the entire exterior of the home and its roof lines. By doing so he would not have to revisit doing an estimate later in the event the owner (me) wished to add or eliminate certain gutter runs. A crew of three (3) arrived punctually one morning; David, who was the "lead", George, and Ty. David immediately took the schematic diagram and walked around the home to assess the needs for the work. Prior to the day the crew arrived I had decided to not install gutters on a certain section of roof line. I discussed this situation with David, who made note of the change(s). All the installers displayed themselves to be industrious and intent on doing a great job. I took notice of the fact that they would look at/study what they had just completed, and then make sure any small details that needed attention were taken care of. I was very, very pleased with the workers and the work performed. The whole process, from the estimate through installation, proceeded very smoothly. Our daughter had also contracted for gutter installation with Robert Nelson, and was extremely happy over the fine work. We have all ready shared our experience with good friends and furnished them with the business phone numbers. I most certainly am satisfied with Robert Nelson, owner of Hydro Flow Gutter Systems, and would use them again. The personnel of this business display a high degree of integrity and honesty, which is refreshing.

    Chimney Sweeps, Inc
We bought the $79 coupon. Steve recommended we get a chimney cap which he could install then and there, so we went ahead with the installation. The price we paid for the stainless steel chimney cap with spark arrestor was $413. We since learned you can buy the same kind for less than half that amount, so that's the reason for the D grade for pricing. Lesson learned to research before you buy. He also gave us a price quote for repairing six valve seals on the roof for $1,029 for approx 1 1/2 - 2 hours of work which we also thought way too expensive so we didn't proceed. Steve was pleasant and professional and otherwise provided good service.

    Professional Roofing and Solar
John, the owner of the company, came to check out our home and give us an estimate of the cost of the job that we wanted done: Roof removed and replaced, fascia replaced on the front and added on the back of the house, gutters replaced on the front and added on the back of the house, balcony resurfaced, and gutters added for the balcony. They also removed and replaced a skylight and removed old solar panels on the roof. John also recommended a HERO loan that his staff would help us process. This did not work out for us, mainly because our mortgage is atypical. We paid a $1,000 deposit, and they came to do our roof on the appointed day, and started with a tear off taking the old roof off down to the wood. They contacted us with a $3,500 change order to replace dry rot and termite damaged wood. This was not unexpected and included as a possibility in the original estimate. We ok'ed that and the roof was completed in about 4 days, including an unexpected Sat. They cleaned up each day after work, so it was easy to live around the roofing job. The balcony resurfacing went quickly and they did an amazing job! Our biggest concern was that they presented us with the bill without doing the gutter work. We had a meeting with John, when he came to do the final inspection/review, and he admitted that we had paid for the gutter job also, and it would take a few more days to get the gutter work done. The gutters were done on the roof, and done very well per our specifications, but the gutters for the balcony were omitted. We called the company, and John returned our call saying that the balcony gutters were in fact included, but there had been miscommunication with the gutter installers. The full job took about 21/2 weeks and we were extremely satisfied with the excellent quality of work, trustworthiness of the workers, and the way the workers cleaned up after each day. Our only warning is to be sure that everything that you talk to John about is written in the contract, and that you remind him about each portion of the contract. We highly recommend this company and the quality of their work.

Rick (the owner) was prompt, professional throughout. The tear off team did a very careful job and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Rick's roofing team was on-time, worked hard and did an outstanding job. There is little to say when everything goes exactly to plan and budget. Outstanding work, Rick!

    Repairs & Remodels On Demand

I need the following items done:

    1.  Install a bolt lock - Drill hole in door and put in lock

    2.  Install venting above stove (nothing to cut, just install metal venting)

    3.  Fix some gutter areas that were sagging

    4.  Reframe wooden closet opening to specific size, just cutting and removing 2x4s, etc.

I told them "NO THANK YOU" and they left as the price they quoted was ridiculous.  About 20 mins. later, one of the men called me back and told me he could do the work for $35.00 an hour.

I have had the same issues with other Angies List vendors.  I had a plumber come out and tell me that the $55.00 price that I paid which was to cover $125.00 worth of work was just for the estimate, not any work itself.

I think that some of these "deals" need to be better clarified on what is actually offered.

1-3.  The closet is made of wood, the area would have been covered by me with sheets.  I needed the openings cut to the correct dimensions:  no trim needed, no drywall, no framing required , painting.. etc... Bifold closet doors, very easy to remove.

    4. Make hole in backyard door to install dead bolt lock

    5. Holes for venting already exist, just needed them to install the vent pieces that were already to be installed.

     6. Just needed gutters re-attached, 1 aluminum in a single corner, and 2 vinyl, no cleaning requested/required, no removal.

Your workers misinformed you of the tasks needed, nor did I appreciate the phone call to do the work for less afterwards.  It was performed by someone else within a 3 hr. period of time.
