    Stephan Busque MD,FRCSC
What stands out about him is the way he treats his patients and his competency as a surgeon. I also like that he has turned Stanford into the number one in the country. He is a careful, exacting surgeon, which is exactly what is needed. I have been at Stanford a really long time and I have watched a lot of surgeons come through and, in kidney transplant, he is by far and away, the best.

    Tilles, Dr. Stephen
One of the last times that I saw Dr. Tilles, I needed a disability form filled out and he did it immediately. I don't see him very much because I am pretty healthy, but he always makes me feel better.

San Francisco General Hospital Medical Center
I have been very happy.  I have never been disappointed with any of my service.  I have never had a bad experience at General and that includes a stay in the hospital...that was just a brief one and that includes several visits to the emergency room and I still don't have any complains.

    Ng, Dr. Philip
He is absolutely excellent and is one of the most thorough and caring doctors that I have known in my life. I was a medical technologist, so I knew some of the best. He is a very kind guy and has a list of things that he checks on monthly. He is very concerned and shares his information with me and it is not like he is hiding things from me. Everything is computerized and he is very careful and returns calls, and is very good.

    Ajit Mahapatra MD
He has good bedside manners. He is knowledgeable and communicates really well. He is very kind. He has a concern for all the things going on with me. I have kidney issues; so I can't take the pain that occasion. He watches them really well. He works with my different doctors and tries to figure out how to balance out the medication. He is very pleasant, soft spoken and young.

    Ng, Dr. Philip
A personable doctor who made a quick verbal diagnosis and referred me to another physician. Only saw him for 5 minutes.

Doctor is willing to hear your issues and give a review. He is very pro giving you a referral to a specialist if it is needed. He would rather over check you then under check an issue. You go away ensured he has checked more then you originally asked him to check.

    Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara
It is a huge organization, but you wouldn't know that by the care you get. My care at Kaiser has been equal or better than the care I received when I had a concierge health care plan. They are very efficient, and they recently modernized. Parking is a serious problem. Kaiser had a really bad rap even though their approach toward wellness has changed. They call me when it's time to make an appointment, they call me two days before my appointments, and you can view all of your appointment history online. They are very efficient. Nobody is perfect and there's always room for improvement, but they are better than average and I will absolutely continue to use them.
