ARemodel Works Bath & KitchenWe love Remodel Works! After discovering harmful mold and mold byproducts in our home, we had to have many areas (namely the kitchen and 2 bathrooms) torn out. Needless to say we were completely shocked at the level of repair needed. Enter John DeLuca, designer du jour. He helped my mom design the kitchen of her dreams, as well as update the master and guest bathrooms which had been torn down to studs. John was always available for a phone call or text with any questions, even to help us choose paint colors outside of the areas he designed. The construction is still in process, but Lance has been amazing and everything is coming together beautifully. He has kept us updated each step of the way, and has a very calming demeanor (which is always appreciated during construction projects!). Brett has been great as well, always working hard with a big smile when we stop by to check on progress. Both have gone above and beyond in keeping the place in order (we are not staying in the home during this work). They both could have easily just stuck to the project they were hired for, but have done extra detective work in helping us figure out issue after issue with our older home. We know we are in good hands. This process has been emotional, as a remodel was initially something my mom and dad were planning together, but my dad ended up passing away suddenly just over a year ago. It has been such a blessing to be so taken care of by Remodel Works during a rough time. Highly recommend for professional, top notch work, and individuals who really care about their work and clients.- Alex H.

AOcean Flooring & ConstructionGreat. Removed old floor, moved furniture, installed new floor and baseboards. They did 1500 sq. ft. in a week. Very professional workers, cleaned up after themselves, and fixed the couple of places that I wanted "better." After a couple of months, they are fixing stair caps, which are really tricky, and replacing a plank that I think is defective. They aim to please, and they have. Hoping I won't need new floors again, but they would be my go to company.- Peggy K.

AGENEVA FLOORINGWe love the floor they recommended and installed. They are very professional in flooring. If there are something to complain, first, I know they have tried their best to clean, the saw dust is still more than what we expected. second, in the garage, they left some nails. The good thing is those did not hurt our floor. From this point, I believe they are very careful doing the flooring. It might hurt the tire of our car. They did a very good job indoors so get a little relaxed outside the working site. I would give them 4.8 out of 5.0. As I do want to recommend them, I have to tell the points they can improve.- Chenyang T.

AHometown RestorationOur carpets are old and pet-stained from the end of our dog's life and light colored but we're just not ready to replace them. I cannot believe how great they look after Hometown Restoration worked on them. Super reliable: showed up when they said they would. Honest: Set clear expectations about the stains before he started. DI really wanted to give this company a 5 star rating,especially based on their great reviews on Yelp and Angie’s list. However I can’t. Initial communication with them was easy and fast. Having them come out to assess what we wanted was also fast. But that is where is ended. Oscar took the measurements for our project. I informed him we were not in a rush to start the project due to the pandemic. I was promised a quote in 24 -48 hours. That never happened. I called several times after that, speaking with Frank. Frank stated he would talk with Oscar to get a quote sent to me via email or phone call. I am still waiting. I understand the home improvement business has sky rocketed during the pandemic, however if our project is too small or you cannot accommodate us.....then tell me. Don’t keep people hanging. That is just poor customer service, especially for a business with high ratings!

AI hired Mohammad at the begining to do Floor repair in my livingroom, however, he came up with great ideas to do not only repair totally update my living room and repair all underlying issues on the floor with a reasonable cost. Also his professional commitment to do the job well , persuaded me to ask him to do more jobs on my prperty which was very old and in need of major upgrades. , he came up with suggestions and recommendations which was very useful and actually prevented me from future risks due to the age and condition of building He is an excellent engineer an dcarpenter. I strongly recommend him Feel lucky to have emt him . Now I feel that I know some one that I can trust to do home improvemnet project above and beyond one's exception.

AFABULOUS RESULT! Barry is a consummate professional. He is relaxed and friendly, knows his stuff, gets right to work, and creates a gorgeous result. He stretched three areas for us: 1) a long, wide hallway, 2) a master closet, and 3) the corner of a large living room. Results are stunning; carpet looks new! We feared we would need to replace the carpet because the ripples continued to increase over time (HUGE expense). Now, we have avoided the cost of replacing the carpeted areas, and we are dancing with joy. We definitely recommend Barry.

FI needed my bathroom redone after a pipe leak. I got many estimates. Elite remodeling came by on a Tuesday and told me i would get an estimate by the following Monday because he was “very busy”. All the other contractors got the estimate to me within 2days. Monday came and went, I called the office 2x but the salesman never got back to me. The next day after trying one more time without luck I wrote a Yelp review. Within 3 min.of posting the review I got an angry call from the salesman who actually berated me and yelled extensively about giving him a bad review. First, that is never ok to berate a person for posting an honest review of their experience. Second, if the company is to busy to take my job-tell me and don’t waste my time or yours. He petitioned Yelp and got my review removed as he probably does all critical posts. Im reposting to warn other homeowners. There’s many to choose from, it’s difficult to have a remodel so be very careful who you sign with. I can’t imagine working with this company.
