  • The move went as smooth as possible. Everything in my house was securely wrapped and packed with care. King Relocation was very efficient and professional. They took the headache out of having to packing and move an entire house. They brought all the wrapping material, boxes, and moving blankets.   • The staff were efficient and professional. The cost of the service was only slightly more than my last move (when i rented a u-haul myself and hired some helping hands at the local Home Depot), and it went WAY faster and was much easier on me (and my back!). I will definitely use these guys for future moving needs (as long as they still offer the $150 for $300 coupon)!

  • Everything went really well overall! Abby who helped us book the moving service was very responsive and helpful by answering all of my questions. The crew of people who moved all of my belongings were very professional and efficient. The only issue was that one of the guys did not screw in our bed frame correctly. However, once we realized this, we called up the company and the manager of the company scheduled someone to come to our house and fix the problem. Obviously, it was annoying that the bed frame was put together wrong however because they fixed the problem immediately without charge without questions asked I believe that shows an exceptional level of customer service.

  • This was the best moving company we ever had! From the beginning when Elia came to give us a not to exceed estimate.  We had Marcos and his crew come out and these guys worked hard to move our entire 3 bedroom house into a new house.  Marcos was wonderful, had he treated our home with respect protecting the wood floors and belongings.  I HIGHLY recommend this company! They work hard and we were under the do not exceed price!

  • Everything seemed okay till the day of the move. Phone conversations and site visit estimate seemed appropriate. However they failed to tell me or make it very clear that any damage they cause during the move is paid based on weight of item. If I wanted additional coverage that would be extra. I hired Hollywood Movers, 1 because I saw their reviews on Angie's list and 2 it stated they were piano movers. I have a baby grand piano that I wanted moved along with the rest of my furnishings. In my phone conversations prior to move day I was under the assumption that there would be 2 moving trucks along with 5 movers.

    Here comes the day of the move. The head guy working at my house that day sat down with me to complete paperwork prior to them starting. He rushed me through the paperwork and I signed. Now it is my fault I didn't read the fine print but it was never made very evident that any high dollar items that were damaged are only covered at $.60 per pound. So off they went. At this point I was still under the impression that there were 5 guys at my house. They were moving around and I wasn't so sure. The truck was getting loaded. Then guess what, they ran out of room. Luckily I had a personal trailer that they could load otherwise they were going to charge me for a double trip and extra time. So by there failure to bring a second truck it was going to cost me more. Also the amount of time it took was longer because they only had 4 guys which I still didn't know for sure yet.

    Now moving into the new house. Again seemed to be going well. I now wanted to find out how many guys were there so I bought them lunch. Guess what only 4 guys to buy lunch for. So the day is coming to an end and then the head mover approached me and advised me they DROPPED my piano and damaged it. He stated that with only 4 guys it was to much. Here is where the extra coverage would have helped. They caused $500 worth of damage to my piano and only gave me $376 based off the weight. Not only that but they failed to reassemble it completely. So I had to do it.

    Now for the other stuff they lost and damaged but failed to tell me. I had 2 different book shelves that they lost pegs that hold up the shelves. In addition they broke the caster wheel on my sons desk chair. But they never told me about that. I had to ask them and when I did they produced the broken wheel from the back of the truck. Hidden behind some boxes. Seemed to me they where hiding it. But that is a personal opinion and can't state if fact or not. I didn't even ask for reimbursement on these items because the claim process was such a hassle in itself. I had to do all sorts of research on my piano to get them to pay the claim. I just now received a check in the mail for the damages after multiple calls to resolve the issue.  Bobby one of the main guys I spoke with said that maybe the whole claim would get paid, the entire $500. But guess what, nope. Also I had a pretty heated argument with him on the phone where he swore he advised me of everything. Yet their is nothing in writing. Again they have my signature on the contract so they are legally doing what they are supposed to but morally I think they are wrong. I know if this was my company I would have paid the entire claim. This was not a scam on my part.

    But lets hit on the scam part for a moment. At the end of the day when it came time to settle up on the bill. When the lead mover presented me with the bill he was charging me for 5 guys. Only after I questioned him he stated he had to call his boss. Then guess what my bill was reduced. Pretty shady if you ask me.

    So I could not nor would not ever recommend this company

  • Jesse and his crew did a good job and worked fast.  I think a little too fast.  Boxes marked fraguile were not handled carefully and heavy boxes were put on top of them.  They did not stack boxes as neatly as they could have been stacked to conserve space. They need to take their time.

  • The office have great follow up and customer service. The lady who took my order explained the pricing well. The moving guys, Edgar, Manny and William were amazing! They moved non-stop, very polite and organized. They asked questions for placement of boxes. The gent William had great energy, he was singing (and even skipping) the whole time he worked. I would definitely use this company again...but not in the near future. I think we are staying here for at least ten years. Moving is such a task, these guys made it a whole lot tolerable. Thank you!
