At Look Stairchairs, stairchairs are our one and only business. Look Stairchairs is a family-owned and operated company specializing in the sale, installation and service of residential stairchairs. We serve the greater Los Angeles area from Santa Barbara to Laguna Beach. We are an independent dealer representing seven (7) different manufacturers of stairchairs, including Bruno Independent Living Aids, Handicare-Sterling, Harmar-Summit, Meditek, Acorn and Hawle-Treppenlifte. He put in a stair chair, got the approval from my association, and they just did a great job, fabulous diagram for the manufacturer and for the approval of the association. Exceptional attitude and excellent work. Best quality products and lifetime warranty, very very honest.

On the day of installation, Mike and a co-installer went to Beverly Hills to pick up the donated lift, transported it to my home in Echo Park and installed it. After installation, Mike noticed that there was a squeaking sound that was very high pitched and annoying. He stayed as long as it took him to fix the sound, and he did! He also offered to come by one day and bring me a newer armrest cover ...

This family...I can't say enough good things about my experience with Look Stairchairs. I first contacted Look Stairchairs several months ago. They were the second company I contacted because the first couldn't provide what I was looking for. I have MS and my walking up and down my stairs has gotten tougher. I was donated a stair chair lift but had to install it myself. When I spoke to Tyler at the shop, he wasn't sure they could do install a used set, but set out to find out and rally for my cause. The back and forth between Tyler and the assistant to the owner of the lift took a couple months because the assistant was out of the country. After a little while, Tyler was finally able to get all the information from the owner of the lift, spoke with his bosses and installers and was finally able to get me an answer: yes, they could install it for me. Now, this took a lot of coordinating between the company and the assistant, but we finally got it done!!! Tyler was amazing throughout out the whole process. He stayed in touch with me on a weekly basis (sometimes daily), kept me updated when he was able to reach the assistant and never wavered in his assistance to my cause. Now I feel safe using my stairs and even though it took a long time (by no means the company's fault), I felt comfortable and patient because of Tyler's constant updates.

Marilyn, the owner, was very prompt, courteous and efficient in the initial estimate submitted. Well. When the installation team arrived, they found the metal runner for the chair was too long for the stairway, so the owner brought out the appropriate saw to shorten it. The team did an excellent job with the installation, and the chair has functioned well for the last 8 months.

Installation of a chair along our back stairway. The woman who owns this business is highly knowledgeable about the range of solutions. She explained the electrical requirement so we could have another outlet installed.

My mom's Bruno stairlift stopped working on a Saturday and she was stuck midway between upstairs and downstairs and was alone. She actually had to get off the chair and crawl the rest of the way up.
