    Peter Kirsch-Korff
I give them an and ldquo;Aand rdquo; on the rating. His price was great compared to the other companies. He did a really good job. He is just one guy who did the work and sometimes it took a while to get back to him which is I am aware of.

    Teak Master
TeakMaster brought my grey teak deck table, chairs and lounge back to original color. The gave all furniture a good sanding so there are no more rough surfaces. I had a watermark on my fence and TeakMaster sanded and restored the redwood fence to its original color. While another contractor I solicited was uncertain of the outcome, TeakMaster expressed no doubts and produced great results.  There were some rotted boards on my deck. TeakMaster replaced them and sanded and stained them to all boards matched. So, before you consider replacing your fence or deck, let TeakMaster refurbish it."

    Stump Fence Co.
I called for a quote and was promptly met by Matt (I think) Stump.  He was very polite and made all of the measurements he needed in 10 or 15 minutes.  He listened to what I needed and made appropriate suggestions as necessary.  His crew arrived on the promised install date and it looks even better than I thought it would.  Because it was a bit of a patch job in places, I was worried that it wouldn't match.  It looks as if it was always there.  I would highly recommend this company for fencing needs.  Great job!

    George Dimen

George is the consummate professional; he has an eye for detail and style. I would trust him both as a contractor and also for his eye for style. George and his crew showed up everyday at 7:30 a.m. and left at :430 p.m. We could not have a better experience!

    All-Safe Pool Fence & Covers
    AllSafe was great.

They returned all our calls right away, everyone we dealt with was polite and professional, and they came on time both times they came out to our house, first for the estimate and later for the installation.

After their estimate, it was easy to schedule installation for the following week. Their team took about two hours to install the net itself, which involved drilling screws into the cement around our pool and then putting on the net. They were friendly and easy to deal with during the installation. They also took time to walk us through using the net (putting it on and taking it off) several times until we were confident we had the hang of it.

Our pool is small and situated oddly in our yard, among giant, cavelike rocks. This meant that it was basically impossible to install a fence, which we considered a must with a small child in the house. The AllSafe net seemed like the perfect solution for our pool, and we've been very happy with it. It's easy to remove and replace when we use the pool, though it does take about ten minutes each time. That's the price we pay for safety, I suppose.

We found two companies that install these kinds of nets - AllSafe and Katchakid. Both companies were professional to deal with, and their estimates were comparable. The products also seemed to be comparable. Choosing AllSafe was a bit of a coin toss as they had both been good to deal with in getting estimates.

We've had the product for a month, and it's working out great. We would definitely recommend AllSafe.

    Fence Guy
He came out once to give us an estimate and explain how he would work on our problem. It was easy to schedule the work for the following week. The work took about two hours and was totally unobtrusive.

We have a long chain link fence in our back yard that leads into an overgrown, unused parkland. The fence had a 15 foot section of it that had fallen over amongst the trees, allowing coyotes to come into our yard and threaten our pets. We hired him to fix/replace the falling-over parts of the chain link fence and to install a gate that would allow people to come through but keep out the coyotes. He straightened up the chain link and maneuvered it around several large trees in a way that looked good. He installed the gate and laid some cement underneath so that coyotes could not dig under the gate. All the work looks very good along with the older part of the fence.

The work cost exactly what his estimate had been, $400. We would have liked it to have been a little cheaper, but we went with him because he came off professionally.

He was easygoing and professional in all our dealings with him. The fence and the work still look really great, and the work was done nine months ago. We would recommend him.

Hugh and his company were superbly on-the-spot with returning phone calls, showing up on time, providing a timely estimate, and arranging for the work to be done. His bid was considerably lower than other providers in our area, but given the high marks in most of his other reports I wasn't worried about shoddy work. He came out and did the job on a national holiday when most others would be sleeping in. In installing the new gate and fence, he had to come up with some creative solutions to problems of poorly levelled ground, obstructing trees, etc. He was respectful, friendly, and professional everything you hope for in using a local small business.

    Celtic Gates & Doors Inc
When we purchased our house, there was no fence between our property the neighbors house. I contacted Martin based on a recommendation from a previous neighbor. The project was completed quickly and the fence looks great. He has pride in his work and great attention to detail. He went above and beyond what I expected, fixing another fence on my property. The company provides a warranty for their work and is very responsive when you a have a question or issue.

    FootHill Fence Co
Carl was prompt in returning our call. He was out to our home within 2 days for an estimate. Carl was the only contractor who actually brought a photo album of his previous jobs with him. This was helpful if you have never installed a fence or replaced an existing one. Carl was very polite, professional and was willing to answer all of my questions. This was refreshing as previous contractors were quick to measure the overall footage and provide only a price, with no real explanation of what the job would entail. Carl deployed 2 men for the removal of the old fence which took one day. On day 2, two additional men were on site to assist with installing the posts, which took one day. Over the next 2 days, they framed and installed the boards for the new fence and installed the lattice. The foreman for the job was Bill. His partner was Jerry. Both were very courteous. Bill was excellent in keeping me abreast of their progress each day. I was very pleased with his attention to detail, willingness to explain what they were doing and to make any adjustments or modifications I requested. As an aside, our neighbor's PVC sprinkler pipe was accidentally nicked and was leaking. Bill and Jerry promptly repaired the pipe. The only issue we had was that Bill had forgotten to inform us of the damaged pipe, which was discovered by us after they had left in the evening. Again, the pipe was repaired 1st thing the following morning. They were a professional, experienced crew and I feel very confident in referring to them to anyone who needs a new fence.

    Fence Guy
Initially, Hugh was great. When we called him to come out, he came out the very next morning. We spent about 20 minutes talking about the fence, what we wanted, etc. Hugh took measurements and left. This was over one month ago and we have never heard back from him. We never received a written estimate and did not receive a call back, despite our calling him (which we should not have to do if he really wants the work) and leaving him a message. It's a mystery what happened to Hugh.
