    Well, they were better than the last company. I have been with them for about a year. I am not happy with how much we have to spend. Like all internet companies they will keep raising the price a little bit and raising the price a little bit. Pretty soon you are all the way up there again. I don't like that. I think they can do better on their pricing. They are the best I have found that are out there.

    They kept considerably raising our bill. I kept calling asking whether they had any specials and they said this was the best they could do and there were not any specials. I told them their prices were a lot higher than when we started with them a year earlier. They said that was the best they could do and I told them, fine, I will find somebody else that can do better. When we did switch over to someone else, then we get the manager calling us telling us we should have had them put us over to him, he could have gotten us a better deal. Too late, we're gone. That was our experience with AT&T.  Their internet was extremely slow. We had problems the whole year and tried to get them to come out. We were paying for high speed internet and never got it. They would send different people out and somebody would change lines out in the street and put us on a different cable. It was just a hassle. Their punctuality was pretty good. They had to send three or four guys out before the guy who really knew how to fix it came out.

    I wanted to get an HD TV. I hold out until there are good pries around Christmas, but I don't need a big bill because I'm on a fixed income. So I made sure to call  them and ask what it would cost me to go HD and it was really hard to get information from them because some said that the bill won't change and some said that I would get a $10 increase on my bill, some told me that I would have to replace equipment so I couldn't figure out what was going to happen. I went ahead and bought the TV and I wanted to go up to HD and my bill went up from $45 a month to $70 to get the stations I wanted. The package I had didn't come in HD and nobody told me that. There was also a $100 charge to change my satellite dish because you have to have a special one for HD and they didn't tell me any of that. It made me mad. I made a lot of phone calls, spoke to a lot of people and got the real story on the whole thing and finally decided to cancel them.

    I called Tom at Par TV on Thursday (8/8/13) and he said that the recycling and purple dots was a common problem with that era of Samsung LCD TV's and was related to capacitors going bad on the power supply board.  He agreed to come out to Cameron Park from Davis on Friday (8/9/2013) even though his website said that Par TV's service area only extended to El Dorado Hills.  He agreed to show up between 12 noon and 2 PM.  He showed up at 1:20 PM and he and I removed the 40 inch LCD flat screen off the wall and set it on the couch.  He proceeded to remove the rear backing and promptly identified the bad (bulging) capacitors on the power supply board.  He then quoted me the repair cost, which included his travel time to and from Davis.  I agreed to the price quote and he promptly removed the Power supply board and took it down to his van in my driveway and proceeded to replace the faulty capacitors in his mobile workshop. He was back in 20 minutes and replaced the board, checking it for functionality before replacing the TV backside cover.  He then helped me get the TV back on the wall mount bracket and properly hook up the myriad of HDMI, composite and RCA audio plugs prior to presenting the bill.  We were finished in an hour from the time he first arrived.  All in all, a very satisfying experience.  Tom and Par TV are to be complimented and I would highly recommend them to anyone experiencing problems with a Samsung high-definition, large screen LCD TV.

    IT WENT SOUTH REAL FAST AFTER HE TOOK OUR  MONEY.
    HE WAS CONTRACTED TO DO A SITE MAP/PLOT MAP FOR A NEW METAL BUILDING SIGHT.
    WE GAVE HIM ALL THE EXAMPLE INFORMATION AND WHAT WAS REQUIRED FROM THE COUNTY, ALONG WITH THE COUNTY'S WEB SIGHT FOR ALL THE INFORMATION HE WOULD NEED.
    HE TOLD US HE COULD DO IT NO PROBLEM !! SAID HE'D DONE THIS STUFF BEFORE.
    WE PAID HIM $500.00 DEPOSIT.
    HE DREW UP A SIGHT MAP, ELECTRIC MAP OF NEW BUILDING.
    HE CALLED AND TOLD ME WHERE TO PICK UP THE NEW PLANS, SAID THEY WERE READY FOR PLAN CHECK AT THE COUNTY PERMIT OFFICE.
    I WENT TO THE COUNTY PERMIT OFFICE FOR PLAN CHECK WITH MY PLANS.
    MY PLANS WERE REJECTED BECAUSE THEY DID NOT MEET COUNTY MIN. REQUIREMENTS.
    I CONTACTED BASE DESIGN & DRAFTED WITH THE COUNTIES REJECTION LETTER AND WHAT NEEDED TO BE CORRECTED.
    HE CALLED ME A COUPLE DAYS LATER SAID THAT THE PLANS WERE READY AGAIN AND NEEDED TO BE PICKED UP AND PAID FOR AGAIN AND TAKEN TO THE COUNTY FOR REVIEW AGAIN. HE SAID EVERYTHING WAS CORRECTED AND READY FOR PERMIT.
    TOOK THEM TO THE COUNTY AGAIN. AND AGAIN THEY WERE REJECTED FOR THE SAME PROBLEMS.
    I CALLED HIM AND TOLD HIM THAT HIS DESIGNS WERE REJECTED AGAIN FOR THE SAME PROBLEMS AND HE JUST COULDN'T BELIEVE IT HE SAID. AND WAS GOING TO CALL MY COUNTY PERMIT OFFICER.
    HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO SET MY COUNTY STRAIGHT AND TELL THEM JUST HOW THINGS ON THIS PROJECT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND THAT IT'S NOT HIM WITH THE PROBLEM, IT'S MY COUNTY PERMIT OFFICE THAT CAN'T DO THEIR JOB.
    HE COULDN'T PLOT OR DRAFT ANY ONE OF OUR PLANS CORRECTLY.
    HE HAD OUR HOME IN THE WRONG PLACE ON THE SITE MAP AND OUR GARAGE WAS ATTACHED TO THE WRONG SIDE OF OUR HOUSE. HE COULDN'T PLOT TOPOGRAPHY LINES USING THE PROPER MEASURMENTS.
    AND WHEN THIS WAS AGAIN BROUGHT TO HIS ATTENTION HE AGAIN BLAMED THE COUNTY FOR BEING STUPID.
    I FINALLY HAD TO HIRE SOMEONE ELSE TO DO OUR PROJECT.
    BASE DESIGN & DRAFTING THEN SENT ME AN EMAIL TELLING ME THAT HE WAS CANCELING HIS CONTRACT AND THAT I OWED HIM MORE MONEY.
