    Alexander Korchmarev MD
He is UNEDUCATED ABOUT ANTIDEPRESSANT WITHDRAWALS. He is greedy. He claims to have a website but it’s as useless and incompetent as he is as a psychiatrist. He caused me to suffer for YEARS AND STILL NOW because he didn’t follow FDA recommendations while supervising my taper off an AD. AND HE LIED ON TYPED UP RECORDS ABOUT MY SEVERE SYMPTOMS - EVEN AFTER DIAGNOSING ME WITH PTSD FROM THE TERROR WITHDRAWALS! He is a SCARY MAN. Please go to another doc. Korchmarev belongs in jail!!!!

    Dr. Neda Javaherian
I was able to get a appointment the same week I called. Her office was beautiful, relaxing and clean. She was friendly and direct. She took a full evaluation and recommended the best treatment plan for me. She also gave me recommendations regarding finding a new therapist. I thought she was excellent.  Added perk, she accepts Insurance which most psychiatrists do not and end up costing you a fortune!

    UCI Neurosurgery Clinical Prac
Interviewed by two interns first. Very friendly, non judgmental and genuinely interested in what I had to say. After initial interview two resident Dr.s came into the room and described treatment. One Dr. was a Psychiatrist and one was a Sleep Specialist. They described their plan for me and I was very hopeful. Nobody had ever addressed my insomnia with an actual strategy other than medication. I was enrolled into his sleep clinic. I would receive refills for all of my prescriptions. Made next appointment. Dr's very professional and kind. Proactive.

    Beebee, Dr. Alexander
He is very professional. His sessions are long because he wants to know his patients well. His office is immaculate and the waiting time is short. He doesn't prescribe medication until he knows exactly what is going on.

    David Ruderman MD
I arrived at the office and sat down, apprehensive that I would be shopping around for a while to find a doctor who would leave a good enough cocktail alone. He did an assessment, checked out my medications, and determined that the medication regimen I had been on was indeed appropriate to his determination of my diagnosis. In his quest to be thorough, and because of his easygoing and friendly manner and the pleasant quality of our conversation, our initial session almost ran over. He immediately scheduled an appointment to check bloodwork, gave me scripts for that and my meds, and that was that. All of my fears assuaged warmly and instantly. During the follow up, he noticed that one of my levels was low. Before simply adjusting the medication, he explained in detail the various results from the tests, what they meant for me and my health, some of the strengths and drawbacks of the meds I am on, and even gave me the metaphor of locks on a door so I could picture how my meds work in tandem. I really appreciated his attention to detail and his desire to share relevant information with me. As far as the practical things go, I think he only ever ran late once, about five minutes, out of the four or five times I have seen him. Cindy, his office manager, is off-site, but she has always returned my calls within 24 hours. His is a small operation, but it runs very efficiently. He is now my doctor in this area for the foreseeable future.

    Cervantes, Dr. John A
Doctor Cervantes has been helping me battle Schizo Effective Disorder and Depression for the last four years. He is very knowledgeable in the pharmaceuticals of these diseases and knows it is quite an art to find the right combination for each individual. He has worked with me on this and he is a true professional and really wants to diagnose your feelings to get the best plan - medically and the correct therapy to assist you as his patient.

    Wilson, Dr. Samuel Lamar
He's great. He's personable and wonderful. He's very good about keeping in touch. I don't live in Santa Monica anymore but I still keep in touch and let him know how I'm doing, which I think is pretty great. To get an appointment, you just call and leave a message and he'll call you back. It's just him; he doesn't even have a secretary. It's a nice, comfortable office. He's very up-to-date on everything.
