    Mike Wingo Plastering
Mike did such a good job the first time we hired him that we have hired him for many projects over the last few years. He's done plaster work on our exterior walls, upgraded a cement retaining wall to have a nice plaster finish, patching holes from construction and adding windows and has always made sure that the exterior textured plaster is seamless. He's also done a number of interior walls including a major bathroom remodel, moving a wall in our living room and endless work on a breezeway. He is skilled in many areas and plastering (which is key in many projects) is his specialty. He does great work at a fair honest price and has referred us to many other contractors that we have been very happy with....basically he is a great guy to have on your team.

    Quality First Builders Inc
My wife and I finally decided to remodel our kitchen that had cabinets from 1955. We started by getting 4 bids. The first three came in.....looked around for 5 minutes and gave a random price. Then Eli and Donna came to our house. They asked great questions about what we wanted to do, took careful measurements, and most importantly gave great advice. There was no quote that day. We set an appointment to visit Eli and Donna at their office. We then went over a complete and detailed itemized bid. After that they already had digital renderings of how everything would look. Very professional. When I saw the bid for the job it was definitely not the cheapest or the quickest, but at that point my wife and I were sold on how competent and nice Eli and Donna were and felt like we were in good hands. Everything went as planned. Eli's team are very skilled professionals and were nice to be around. They're were no shortcuts. Permits were done and all items were brought up to code. All new plumbing and electrical. I would also like to point out that there were NO hidden costs or surprise bills out of the blue. All invoices were billed as described in the original bid. Here is the bottom line about Q1st....if you want shortcuts to save money or false promises about timing, Q1st is not for you. If you want a professional job with amazing design ideas with Donna...look no further. We could not have asked for a better job. All of our friends and family are simply amazed at the job that was done.

Tal did several remodeling projects in our past houses such as new floors, bathroom remodeling and more We were always treated as VIP and everything was done in a perfect way. For our recent purchased house, we needed to remodel our kitchen and living room. This remodeling was no less than our previous ones and we were not disappointed... Tal took care of everything that related to the remodeling, from the planning stages all the way to the execution of it. He placed a lot of attention to each and every step while focusing on the budget and schedule. We were amazed when we arrived home each night to see the progress and how they left the remodeling space clean. His team of people cleaned every day before they left the house. Each worker was professional and we didnt have any major problem with any of them like many other people sometimes have. Tal was a complete pleasure person to work with. He earned our trust and business for any future remodeling projects that we will have. Thank you Tal for our remodeling and service.

    SOD Builders
I interviewed at least 4 home improvement companies for a big remodeling job at my house. Allen was the only one that I met and spoke with and that was not any type of a referral recommendation. Allen worked at Luxcess Home by SOD Builders and I found them as part of my online research. Allen become my favorite one from all the other home improvement contractors. He was quick, expert, very clever and easy to get along with. I met with him 2 weeks after I spoke with the last contractor and basically, he was the first one that came back with a detailed quote for the project. The price that he gave me was very fair mainly if I take in consideration how great was the crew and the fact that I was very happy with the progress of the work. Allen and Luxcess Home by SOD Builders has earned the maximum recommendation I can give.

They completed job in 5 days like they said it will be done and everything was done excellent, the floor, painting, cabinets. They left clean place after they finished project. Dave's Remodeling Inc
Followup March 2018: The walls of the new construction were insufficiently joined/sealed, so that when it rains, rain comes right in through the cracks between the sections of wall. When it is dry, dust and dirt blow right in. I had to have a handyman come and caulk several places. November 2017: To his credit, David Telem called me after the job was finished, to apologize for his behavior throughout the project. He acknowledged that he had been "belittling the project, that it shouldn't be a big deal to come back and do a couple of touchups, and that he "should have been professional and should have treated you with respect. All of which I agreed with. Which is to say, he had been belittling the project, making a big stink about doing touchups, behaving unprofessionally, and treating me with extreme disrespect. I did not see any mention of this kind of abusive behavior in his other reviews on Angie's list or Yelp, which indicates that he doesnt treat everyone this way. I have to wonder whether he just felt like venting unrelated frustrations and I seemed like a safe target because I'm a single, extra-small, senior woman. I hope he picks on someone his own size next time. I hired him to repair and upgrade a 128 square foot, enclosed gazebo that is my exercise and crafts room. They replaced much of the wood on the lower part of the outside, replaced the front door, and replaced the flooring with cork under a good-quality laminate so that it would have some give for exercising. His workers were fine; it's only Dave that was incredibly obnoxious. Belittling: he kept repeating, "This is a very small job for us. What is the point of that? Once you accept a job in the first place, you should treat it with respect. Touch-ups I had to request: after they painted the greenish-brownish treated wood with ONE coat of white paint, the green-brown was really showing through. I asked him if they could please give that a second coat of paint. His response: "Well, if you wanted it to look nice, you should have told me. (???) After they painted the exterior, I noticed there was a section with gap that sunlight came through, about wide by 2 feet long. I asked him please to have the workers caulk the gap. His response was to whine: "you keep asking for all this extra stuff! Caulking a gap, and a second coat of white paint over brown wood, are not included in a painting job?? On the day he came by to ask me for the final payment even though they HADNT FINISHED, I mentioned that it's standard to make the final payment when the job is FINISHED. Well, he threw a fit, and was whining and lecturing me, you keep asking for all this extra stuff and If you wanted it to look nice, you should have told me, and on and on. I finally asked him, Seriously? Do people usually book a remodel because they DONT want it to look nice? and he really had a meltdown and started YELLING AT ME. I caved and paid him the final payment just to get him to leave. How incredibly unprofessional. The floor looks good (see above re not being happy with the walls). It was NOT a pleasant experience and I will NOT be hiring Dave Telem again. If you do hire him, remember: making the project look nice is not taken for granted; you need to specifically request it.

    Preferred Home Builders Inc
Having worked in the construction industry myself for ten years, I am very aware of the pitfalls and have a general mistrust towards most building contractors. Tamir arrived at our home and my wife and I felt immediately at ease. His experience and professionalism really shone through as he helped us plan the kitchen that my wife has always wanted and a beautiful room addition over the garage. Tamir asked us many questions to find out what we wanted and was able to lay out a clear cut, functional plan in a short time. His suggestions were helpful but never felt pushy. He is friendly and courteous and we never felt like we were being pressured into anything. The best part of all was that his quote came in far lower than other contractors estimates. Knowing his reputation and after meeting with him today, we feel confident in taking this next step in building the home of our dreams. We cant wait until the work begins.

    Build A Dream Inc
i called the company and david, the project manager, came, he explained about the company, that it is inshured, licenced and bonded which was very importent to me. i needed 10 doors replaced, my house was build in 1955, and the doors were original. i also needed my hall ways painted and the door frames too. all the employees were very professional, very good craftsmen, and cleaned after themselves. David was here every day making sure everything was done right, and if any issue accorded he corrected it on the spot. i was pleased with everything and would recommend both build a dream and David, in particular, for any and all jobs in the house.

I did not end up hiring them for a few reasons. Noah was VERY high pressure, (called me several times even before hed sent me the estimate, leaving only the message PLEASE CALL ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! In sales parlance, this is known as "creating a sense of urgency). He derided my plan to repair and upgrade the gazebo, proposing instead to demolish it and add a new addition attached to the main house. ("Do you want just a Band-Aid, or something that will last a lifetime?) He was careless with facts, proposing an 8' x 15' addition to replace my 128 ft. gazebo, and stating "You'll have a LOT more room. (Do the math; that's LESS room.) Not impressed. I did not hire them.

    SOD Builders
Overall the project went very well. We chose SOD Builders because their price was competitive, but more importantly their timeframe was quick. Our priority was the completion date because my wife is pregnant, and we needed the house to be move in ready before the baby arrived. The beginning design phase took longer than expected and made us nervous if the estimated completion date would be met. However once the project started and we were assigned our Project Manager Udi, everything moved quickly. Udi kicked ***. He was on top of scheduling crews at the house every day, inspections, and correcting minor changes my wife and I wanted. All said and done our house was completed on time. From the beginning of demo to completion was 2 months which is an impressive turn around time for a full interior remodel. We pretty much have a new house to start a new family and we are very happy.
