Be prepared: You don't just pay for the work done on your house. You start paying 105.00/hour from the minute your plumber is dispatched - no matter where he is coming from, yes, no matter where he is - in my case it was 20 minutes and I was told (by the woman who dispatches) that I was 'lucky' he was in the area. Then, before anyone starts working on your problem, there is a one time 20 dollar fee for equipment - huh, I'm paying for the plumber's equipment? And then, in my case, I had to pay an extra 30 minutes while we waited for a friend of the plumber's to come to help him carry the equipment out of my backyard. When I called to question having to pay for the 30 minutes of extra time, I was lectured by a condescending woman about why all these additional fees were required - from HER point of view. Yes, to her, it made perfect sense that I was charged yet another 50+ dollars for 'waiting' for someone to come and carry equipment from my back yard. Even though Joe was great (I'd hire him again), I will not return to A & R Plumbing - 2 of my neighbors saw A & R's truck and asked about my experience and I had to tell the same. At the end of the day, I was charged 215.00 for 45 mins of labor - watch out for those hidden fees.

None better. Peace of mind. Honest to a fault, prompt, very reasonable. I would never risk calling anyone else. I've had enough experiences where you know you're getting ripped off because it's an emergency. That never happens with Anthony Kelley. He came to my home on CHRISTMAS when my water heater blew and I gave overnight guests. He got the job done. I am so loyal to this company.

On Friday evening the day we moved into our "new to us" home the drain system backed up. We were trying out the washing machine and saw that it was draining into the bathtub, then we noticed that the toilets were flushing into the bathtub! We tried plunging and went to HD to purchase strong chemicals to unclog the drain to no avail. We bailed out the standing water and left the chemicals in the drain overnight before flushing to give it more time to work. Saturday morning the drain was still clogged. I called Crazy Drains at 7 AM (add said it was open 24/7). I didn't get a response so I called again and called 2 other 24 hour plumbing companies with no response. George called me back at about 9 AM, came to check out the situation and then returned at about 12 noon with equipment to cut the roots out of the main drain. He was very courteous, professional, patient and efficient. He patiently answered all our questions and was very knowledgeable. We would use him again. I know it was a Saturday morning, but I would have greatly appreciated a faster response time since we had to use the toilet at local fast food restaurants.

    Big Angelo's Plumbing & Heating
First time they were called they failed to see the very heavy leak.  Plumber didn't bother to walk all the way around the building.
The leak continued for a week until my wife happened to be there and called me (the owner).  Then I called property manager.
This caused a $1400 water bill that cal am lowered to $700.  Big Angelos refused to consider they were in any way responsible for allowing the leak to continue.  I paid the $700 as I did not want the tenant to pay for Big Angelos complete lack of professionalism.
I called the owner twice and he basically blew me off.
I will never use Big Angelos again ev en if I have to do the work myself.

He was suppose to call before he came.  He was in my home for about 15 minutes. He quoted me $800-1,000 to tare up the wall and replacing the piping to fix the drip from the faucet.  A second plumber told me he he could have replaced the cartage and he would have charged me around $99.  I wasn't given any other options on what could be wrong or more realistic priced fixes. I have had this happen before and thought it was called a valve, not a cartage and so I have him lots of information on what previously occurred with my tub.

I called on the morning of the 25th, and was told that someone could be there between 3:00 and 4:00. I took the time off from work and made sure I was home by 3:00. When 4:00 rolled around, I called their office to find out when the plumber was expected. The dispatcher gave me a cell phone number to call. When the plumber answered, he said I was not on his schedule, so I called the office again. I explained that I made an appointment in the morning, and was expecting a service call between 3:00 and 4:00. She said she would check into it.
Apparently, the person who took my call did not put me on the schedule.
The plumber finally came by. As soon as he got there he gave me the "you need to replace this sewer  line" talk because I have a Carmel drain. (AS DO ALL OF MY NEIGHBORS.) Well, I plan to when I win the lottery, until then I will call a plumber every year to snake it out.
Three weeks later the sewer line is backed up again. Handwritten on the face of the invoice is"NO Guarantee."
Needless to say, there is no guarantee that I will ever use this service again.

    Hicks plumbing Inc.
Respond promptly to phone messages. Mr. Hicks called to tell me if he is running behind schedule and will be later than stated. Extremely courteous to cultural considerations. We are an Asian family and we remove our footwear when entering our house. I did not need to ask Mr. Hicks to remove his shoes - he noticed and respected our customs. He also came back the next day for stoppage issues on a bathtub that was possibly caused when the new heater was installed and he would not charge me the additional time it took to fix that problem.

The serviceman knew the exact problem and immediately set up to clear the sewer line.  He also gave me suggestions for future repair of the line and general maintenance tips.  He identified that the cap on the clean out was improper and suggested a different type, the type that will prohibit sewer waste from escaping in my house or garage.

It all went really well, and my wife and I are very happy with our new kitchen!  Freddy worked with us on the price, and helped us to save costs by dropping off his dumpster trailer so we could do the demolition ourselves.  We signed the contract in December, and while we were gone for the holidays, Freddy had completed fabrication of the cabinets, and gotten all permits submitted for approval.  We started work in early January, and we were done in about 2 weeks.  It only took that long because we found some structural issues that required revising our plans and getting new permit approvals that slowed down the work.  The crew was great, and put in a couple of really long days to keep on schedule.
