    Finest Fence Inc
Our original contracted agreement went very well. The fencing is professionally done and now meets the code for height. The stain used we were told would last three years, which meets our guidelines. The job was completed beautifully.

We called him back to replace and stain an older fence section with the same type of wood in order to have a uniform look between two properties. It was not broken but was very old.. There was no one home to oversee the workman and their work was not as well done on this smaller, adjunct project. The planting area was not covered, which stained my garden rocks, plants, and caused my lemon tree's buds to fall off. I'd waited a year for those lemons, and now they were not to blossom. The damaged plants are stained and my one cyclamen died in the process.

When I called the owner, he came by but refused to accept responsibility for the condition on my planter area in the entryway, or for the stain; however, he would do the power-wash of the pavement in lieu of replacing my damaged plants, (which my gardener assessed at $120)..

The original work was very well done. But, I believe that his refusal to repair what his men later damaged afterwards was not right. I would use them again only if I was home to supervise the staining process.

David was in charge of the entire project and was very responsive to our wants and needs. The work progressed very quickly. The neighbors did't believe how quickly the transformation of the 100 year old craftsman was going. Thanks to David and his knowledgable staff and contacts we were able to do a lot more than we thought we could with the budget we had. We will definitely be using David's and Go Green Remodeling services again in the near future

    Vinyl Concepts
i had nothing but outstanding service from Vinyl Concepts from the minute I called them on a Saturday.  I am a part time resident in Agoura Hills so am not at my home frequently.  They accommodated me by coming out the following Monday for an estimate.  When they came out to do the final measurement they requested I be there but when I explained my situation they made an exception and did the measurement without me being present.  They called me a few times just to verify and get my approval.  At installation again they changed their schedule to accommodate me.  Their service is great and so is the gate they installed.  Everyone I dealt with at Vinyl Concepts was professional, pleasant and competent.

They are very nice, and they work very well.  We like them very much.  We have used them twice.  Their work was nice and reasonable.  The owner was the one who came out and did the estimate.  He drew the design, and he asked what kind of wrought iron I would like.   He came out and gave us the best estimate.

Mike did a fabulous job on our house in Long Beach. Mike started with a very detailed proposal itemizing everything that was to be done. We live 65 miles away so we couldn't be there everyday to monitor the subcontractors coming in and out. After signing on with him, he then gave us an Excel spreadsheet with everything to be done line by line. Each item had notes attached to it with more detail. There was an extra column for cost overruns. He gave us a budget for each item - i.e., a light fixture, and how much was allotted to spend on that fixture. I went to Lowe's to pick out the light fixtures and emailed him the model number. He would either buy the fixture and count that into the money on his spreadsheet, or I would buy it and drop it off at the house. He was great about communicating via email and texting which I very much appreciated. He was very nice about my bringing in other people to work on the house besides him. He left it open when I said I had someone else I might want to do the floors. I ended up going with his subcontractors on almost everything. The sink refinisher did an excellent job on the kitchen sink. The electrician was great. The sprinkler guy did a great job of adding on to our existing electronic sprinklers. His wood contractors did exceptional work on our wood damage. I've had other contractors try to do this stuff and it's never been as nice as Mike's work. The hardwood floors he did are stunning! And the tile in a bathroom came out just right. He was great about last minute changes. I added on all sorts of things as the project moved along and he was very gracious and accommodating for all of them. He was great about working with our weird schedule too. Mike is a landlord himself, and we were fixing up to rent, so he knew all the things we needed to do in order for the house to be ready to rent. His plumber was fabulous. We had a new shower hardware and internals installed – new faucets, new toilet, etc. The acid wash of the tile looked very good. His plaster guy was fabulous too. He also installed a new water heater door outside which was very nicely done. After he was done, we went through the house and created a list of little things we wanted fixed, and he fixed all of them except for one thing that we took care of. Mikes worker's were neat, cleanup was great, painting was nicely done. I especially liked the way they painted the cupboards and shelves. His wood work overall was exceptional. Mike even threw in some extras for free at the end of the project. Everything was done in an extremely timely manner - faster than I could keep up with. He provided lien releases after payments. Mike was not cheap but he is worth every penny. I only know this after dealing with other general contractors in the past. I would hire Mike again if I had another big project in the LA area.

We purchased our first home, a bank-owned fixer-upper earlier this year and we were in desperate need to gut our kitchen, demo and restore two bathrooms as well as address some immediate safety concerns initially found in our inspection report. We hired Yuval and his team after we had personally saw that they had beautifully remodeled two kitchens (one which was my own mother's) and we did all the background checks and saw that he was fully licensed and bonded and that they had an A rating with the BBB. After we started renovations we had uncovered quite a few big fixes that had to immediately be addressed like our electrical not properly working in most rooms, our poorly installed a/c was non-functional, plumbing issues in our master bathroom, our attic insulation was non-existent and our ceiling beams in the garage were not built to code. We were disheartened as we knew these extra fixes were not generally cheap and had to be done. Needless to say, Yuval came through in a huge way. Not only did he and his crew fix everything in our laundry list, but we were so relieved that he worked with what we could afford and the crew never cut corners to cheaply restore anything. Everything was fixed properly and with pride. Despite the extra work, they still managed to do our whole renovation on time (we scheduled 5 weeks) and within our set budget. From start to finish their professionalism, efficiency and tidiness made our complete renovation easy and relaxed. Our ugly fixer is now our beautiful home and we have Castle Remodeling to thank for that. We will use them again and again for future projects.
