Stucco Repair reviews in Santee

There was a very rude receptionist when I called. All she told me was that my house was too little. I told her if the price was right that I was going to stucco the whole thing. She didn't want to help me. She was pretty much talking back at me because I didn't know what I was talking about, but I know what stucco is. She then transferred me over to the owner, and he says that they were just too full to come out and give me a quote. They are are six months behind, so they won't be able to help anybody. Someone needs to talk to them and they need to be removed from Angie's List. There is an etiquette, and if they are busy, send it to voicemail and don't pick up the phone.

Clifford Davenport (president of Lemon Grove Stucco) gave my wife and myself a "Lifetime Guarantee (good for as long as we own the home).  Now we had a problem with their inferior workmanship and He personally refused to honor his guarantee.  Then he lied to the BBB when we filed a complaint.  I would not recommend this man or his company to anyone.  He has no business ethics whatsoever.  If you decide to take a chance you have been warned.  I am being forced to take legal action against this man and his unprofessional company.

    a completely dissatisfied former customer.

Initially, the sales person stated that they had preapproval from the HOA; this was not true.  so there was a delay in getting the approval. They came out 3 times to measure the windows and a fourth time was scheduled, but no one every showed up. Company replaced five windows (including double wide window in the livingroom) and sliding glass door.
But they had to remove a glass window box that wasthe kitchen window.  Because it was hard to remove the box window, they damaged the stucco and plaster board outside and inside on the wall. I did not realize this until after telling the owner that everything was ok. They had to come back several times because the locking mechanism on the sliding glass door did not fit the door so the part had to be reordered and we had to wait another week after waiting several weeks for the windows. The staff was very courteous and friendly and returned calls immediately . The difficulty in removing the kitchen window required that the workers come back a second day as they were installing the windows. The process stretched out nearly two months with the delays.
I hate to say anything negative about the two workers who put in the windows because they seemed very efficient and the damaged that was caused was not intentional and an accident do to the difficulty of getting the window out. And the other staff was very nice as well.

He was on time and very professional.  My husband met with him and said he provided a fair quote for the time and effort that it would take for him to have the job completed.  In the end we just decided to patch one area which we could do ourselves (very small).  Had we wanted to do the other cosmetic fixes, we would have used his company.

    Superior Stucco
Special was for 1,400 feet, exterior is 2,000. The bump in cost was reasonable.
Cleanup after? Not so much. Still, at the price it was worth it. I can do the cleanup. Painting? Woodwork? Not so much!
Angie has assuaged my fears of hiring contractors to do work around the house.
The hard working guys were very personable.
Got compliments from my neighbor about our house's new appearance.

We got 3 estimates from stucco contractors before deciding.  Nurse Stucco was within $200 of the lowest estimate but he offered synthetic stucco which we liked. We had also seen another house in our neighborhood done by them and it looked great.  Darren met with us a few times to make sure he completely understood all of the details of the job including the texture and custom color that we wanted. Our color choice was not a typical stucco color but he assured us that with synthetic stucco we could get the exact color we wanted...and we did...VERY HAPPY with the results. They were on time every time they scheduled with us...and worked very quickly, efficiently, and most of all did quality work. They cleaned up their work area when they were done which was great!  I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others with out reservation.

    Superior Stucco
I bought one of the $299 coupons from Superior Stucco with the intent of having a couple cracks in my garage repaired.  I  really didn't expect much more than patch work being done  and on meeting Pavel all I asked for was  the repair to be done as well as possible for the value of the coupon.
I have to say I was pleasently surprised, The crews that worked at my house were polite and professional, I  was kept informed on the progress of the job by Pavel and I feel that the work performed was of very good quality , I defiatly feel that I got my moneys worth.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending or using Superior Stucco in the future.

    US Contracting
I've been looking for a while for someone to come in and build a 400 SF addition. After meeting with two contractors I got off the internet, a friend referred me to U.S. Contracting. I meet with them the next day and they were off and running. They understood my budget and they gave us good ideas on how to lower the cost of the project by using different materials. I received the bid 5 days after meeting with them. I just felt comfortable with these guys and we were very happy with the work.

My original stucco was painted over with a heavy paint and was in bad need of repair. It was peeling and the stucco behind it was deteriorating. Rick from Burgio responded promptly to my email request and the work began quickly within my schedule. All workers sent out were respectful and professional. The sub-contractor hired to sandblast and paint the trim was very helpful and had an eye for the finished house. The new areas where the wood had been and the original blended perfectly. The company was outstanding in all areas.
