    Mobley, Dr. Aaron
I was new to Bloomington and hadn't established a relationship with a chiropractor. I called about ten practitioners and Dr. Mobley was the only one that worked to fit me in. He spent a few minutes before jumping in asking me about my experience with chiropractors and which approach I would be comfortable with. I was impressed that he asked; it is indicative of his respectful approach to his patients. (He also has a great sense of humor, by the way!) Most importantly: he is a great chiropractor who fixes the problem and works with you to create a treatment plan that you're comfortable with. I never felt any kind of pressured upsell at all. He also helped my daughter with some entrenched physical issues after only a few visits. I highly recommend Dr. Mobley and his caring staff.

My wife likes her.  She gets a personal and caring attention.  She likes her expertise.  I got service from her as well but not as frequently as my wife does.  She doesn’t rush you and is very generous with her time.  She is very conscientious and takes time to listen to you and what your attitude toward that particular session and tries to accommodate your needs and how to proceed.

    Redwood Hand Therapy
They're excellent. They're nice. I had surgery on my hand and when they took the bandages and stuff, I couldn't move my arm, my hand and everything was swollen. Two days later, you're supposed to go to a therapist. They were looking at my arm and were touching me. I said, what. I have a nerve disorder that they had to work on and that's why I can't move my hand. I can move it a lot more now but my fingers don't bend. They bend slightly, they don't close. I've used them up until December of 2014. I made the appointments, no problem. They were pretty accommodating. They're always very nice and very polite. They are very caring and concerned. They even called me not too long ago saying, how is it going?

    Collins, Dr. Thomas M
He's more interested in getting me to maintain my back health than he is in having me come in for multiple appointments. I guess his aim is to keep me in good shape and teach me how to take care of myself so I don't have to be constantly going in for adjustments. He's a knowledge-based type provider, somebody who wants me to take charge of my own health and he provides me with the tools to do that. The staff is very friendly. There is one office person, Doris, and she's a very nice person.

    Sol State Massage
I waited and searched for two years after moving to Reno to find a massage therapist that could hold a candle to my male California LMT. My dream finally came true when I got the opportunity to use a 90 minute massage coupon for Keisha. If you like Deep Tissue, don't let her small stature fool you. AMAZING STRENGTH to break up two years of a knotted mess in my upper shoulders and neck after a couple of injuries.
As a 63 year old overweight woman with Fibromyalgia and shoulder injury, Keisha understood my massage needs and explained things before starting and as needed throughout the massage. She did exactly what was needed in this one session with more results than I remember when first seeing my previous therapist. Keisha was able to use medium pressure on my shoulder injury without causing any pain to me. I was concerned that pain would be the case since it is there all the time without moving my arm. There was NO pain post massage. The dull ache is gone. My neck is more flexible than it has been in ages.
I'm so grateful to have found Keisha and highly recommend her to meet your massage needs. Her prices are very reasonable for deep tissue massage. Her business is in an older home in Midtown that has been converted to hold several LMTs. Nice and quiet as her room is away from the main street. As soon as I got home, I booked my next 6 monthly appointments.

They took from age 2 to school age. They had both experiential and academic programs mixed together. They had a consistent same staff so we got to know them and felt secure. They had a sliding scale based on income. We had to sign them in and out so we had to take them into the building. We looked at 3 or 4 and found them in our neighborhood and they had a good reputation from others.

    Mordecai, Dr. Richard A.
I used Angie's List to find a well-recommended chiropractor close to where I live. Dr. Mordecai's office is still further than where I'd like to commute, but the high recommendations convinced me to try him out. His office offered me a same day appointment.
I arrived on time for my appointment and spent a few minutes completing a basic form about who I was and insurance information (I'm a cash patient). I'm still surprised that I was never asked to complete a more thorough set of forms that include medical history related to my chiropractic needs plus medications I was on. After completing the forms I had to wait several minutes before being called into an exam room, and had to wait even longer before the doctor showed up.
Dr. Mordecai is a very nice guy and of a high energy level. He did a basic examination and adjusted me. He's quite strong (ex-NFL player) and I could tell when he adjusted me he was accustomed to adjusting people of size. I'm quite small and felt that he was too rough on me. His first area to manipulate was to raise my legs individually over my head way far to the point where it really, really hurt. When he rolled me over on my side to the edge of the table I was afraid that I'd fall off the table, it was that close. I'm not young any longer and it worried me that I could break a bone should that happen.
Having been to chiropractors for the last 30 years of my life I think that I have enough experience to know what to expect. Thus I was surprised at my followup two visits with the doctor the process his staff uses before I actually saw the doctor. The last time I visited my shoulder was very sore and needed manipulation. The office staff called me in first, put me down on the table, and applied electrodes to my lower back, as they'd done all previous visits. I'd never visited a chiropractor in my entire life before that didn't see me first before telling the office staff what treatment I needed. In all my visits they didn't once apply heat, ice, or a massager. It was always the electrodes first, followed by a very quick adjustment with the doctor.
Be aware that the walls are very thin at Dr. Mordecai's office. One visit while I was waiting I could hear every word between the doctor and the patient next door. Be careful what you say, knowing that the guy next door might be able to hear everything.
After the last visit I decided that I shouldn't have to be afraid to visit my chiropractor, because of roughness or fear of falling off t
he table. I've found another chiropractor in the area that my neighbor recommended, and will go there instead.

    Mordecai, Dr. Richard A.
He does adjustments, and uses more force than some others do, which I like.

He also provides tips on how to stand, how to drive a car, etc. My husband has also gone to him and likes him very much.

    Hayes, Dr. Timothy
I would recommend him. He is very thorough. He explains everything to you. I have been to other chiropractor’s and his manner and professionalism are top rate. He tells you how to change your lifestyle and how to protect yourself. He tells you about things to do and not to do. He definitely wants you to get well. I’m really impressed with him. He tries different methods before putting his hands on you. He uses last method of adjustment. You are not in pain. I would use him in the future.

    Hartman Chiropractic
Dr Hartman is very upfront and tells you what he can do for you. He tells you what he is doing and talks to you which is very important for me. He has really helped me a lot with the pain caused by spinal sinosis. He is very thorough and reviewed my MRI's prior to working on me. He gives me at home therapies to improve my mobility. He is doing a great job and I am feeling better.
