Water And Smoke Damage reviews in Santa Monica

After prompt inspection by Scope, an estimate and work authorization was offered and signed. Mold removal started soon after, with protective equipment, air scrubbers, isolation of the area, etc, all to keep any mold exposure from the rest of the bedroom area. We were quickly able to see where the leak was coming from and called our HVAC service to fix. Fortunately, there was no mystery about the water source. Scope installed special drying equipment for wall and floor to prepare for rebuild. Rebuild took several weeks because they special ordered carpet to match what we had lost. I asked for air scrubbers (which they used during the mold removal) during the rebuild, and our project manager Veronika made sure we had one every time they were working. Very important extra service since one of us has health issues and this was just off our bedroom area. Scope was always available for questions and scheduling via email and phone. They documented every step with photos and made sure the closet was returned to its original layout. The workers were knowledgeable, and very professional. This distressing project was handled so well it almost feels like a "good experience" now that it is over. Angie's List brought us to Scope and Scope solved our problem. We appreciate both.

Chris from Bio Safety Clean was professional and knowledgeable. Chris informed me on every step of the process, was patient with my lack of understanding of the process, and performed the work in an efficient manner. I was at the property after the work was performed by Bio Safety Clean and the work was clean and no shortcuts were taken. The rental units were left in pristine condition. Chris also informed me that he kept what he thought was salvageable inside the units. I would recommend Chris from Bio Safety Clean to anyone in the future who may be experiencing these types of issues. Virginia (Roseville, CA)

Roman and Amy from Maxi serve honestly are one of the best companies I have worked with. We own a 7,000 square foot facility and they were able to give an excellent price and finished the job quickly. They are certified and go through every detail very carefully. Their work is tested, certified, and guaranteed. The have a full professional crew with all the right tools/equipment to execute the project in a professional and efficient manner. They are clean which is a big bonus since my company builds retail stores. Roman will take care of you and look out for your best interests. Down to earth guy. A+ service.

We purchased our first home in late of last year and after meeting with many contractors companies, we decided to move ahead with Voge. We were doing a full kitchen remodeling and connecting our bedroom that no longer exists to the upstairs master suite/bedroom. After our first initial meeting with Omar, we felt that he really understood the space and had great idea of how the new look and feel we want to have. There are so many endless conclusions that we needed to be do when we were going via the remodeling process - Omar with his team made it seem super simple and with no problem. When the remodeling project ended, we'd had our full trust and confidence with Omar that he could turn this remodeling work into an amazing section of the house - and it definitely did that. While remodeling projects can be annoying and bad at times, what was the most important for us was how the issues and problems got distributed and resolved with when they come up. Problems were always talked openly and honestly & decisions were made basically together which made us feel that we are on the same team. Not even one time during the whole work, Omar fail to come through on something he guaranteed. We've been living in the house for a couple of weeks now and it looks & feels great. We'd highly recommend VOGE Creative Builders to our friends and family.

The water leakage was discovered on the 19th of May at approximately 10:00pm. Between my neighbors and myself it was determined that the leak was most likely coming from a drainage pipe from my unit. If no water was running from my kitchen area, there was no water leaking outside from the building. Therefore we didnt deem it an emergency and thus no emergency services were requested. I am fortunate to have a very special neighbor who selflessly gave of her own time to call Micky of Supreme Remodeling first thing on the morning of the 20th of May, and made herself available when Micky arrived later that morning to determine the exact location of the leak as well as replace the damaged pipe. Micky did not ask for any payment at that time, knowing that I was calling my insurance company to file a claim. Even though it took my insurance company from May 20th until July 18th to address and promptly deny any claim i made, ( albeit, they provided my with $398 dollars for repair and provided my neighbor with a $1000.00 dollar check to cover the deductible on her own insurance so that they could reimburse for any damages) and though this is not the place to discuss my own personal outrage regarding my insurance company, it is worth mentioning because Supreme Remodeling waited patiently during this time, and never once did they call to pressure me to pay for the services they had already provided, telling me instead not to worry and to wait until my insurance claim was settled before having to pay for their services. Even more to their credit when my insurance company finally closed my claim and I informed Supreme Remodeling and Micky of this, they never once inquired about the outcome, and more compelling, they never asked if i had received any monetary compensation to be used towards repair of the claim that I had made. To me, this speaks volumes regarding Supreme Remodelings business practices and their utmost regard for the people they provide services for. Initially, I may have thought they wanted me to wait until my insurance claim was settled so they could determine the cost of repair accordingly, however, I was completely wrong about that. As it turns out, the wait was for my benefit, so that should any money be paid out on the claim, it could be then used to reduce the burden of payment for repairs, which i feel is a unique and an extremely commendable business practice. In as far as the quality of work that was provided, both my neighbors and I are extremely pleased. The work is of exceptional quality, and was done so meticulously that it is impossible to determine where the replacement sections of the garage overhang begin and end. Though it took my insurance company 59 days to deny my claim, in effect postponing any restorative work on the building which needed attention, during that extended period of time, however once the claim was closed, Supreme Remodeling was able to then step in and perform the necessary repairs and services to bring the building back to its original condition all within less than a weeks time. Supreme Remodeling with Micky at the helm is a company I fully endorse without hesitation.

An exceptional response to a potential dire situation. The work required was quickly assessed and completed as promised. The contractor, Micky, was extremely personable and a pleasure to work with. He took his time in pointing out where water damage had occurred and the steps that were necessary to correct all damaged areas located both inside and outside of my home. The completed project was outstanding, replicating the original "Pre-water damaged" structure, while in many areas using superior materials than had existed originally.

The owner came, but I didn't have a favorable experience and they never followed up. We didn't have a cost because he was going to review the report. They were very communicative at the beginning, setting it up. They didn't follow up with coming back to do a thorough evaluation and therefore I got no bid. I also asked for customers they've had, who would be willing to give a reference and there was no follow-up on that.

Coit came out on short notice as an emergency call, that was the good part. But then began the hustle and scaremongering--ongoing, high-pressure, insistent, for a bunch of major additional work that, according to our long-trusted contractor (and ultimately lab testing) was unnecessary. it began when the worker gave a long (uninformed) pitch for how our house now had a "cancer" that would spread, toxic, throughout, forever. Next came the "contracts" from the company, emailed as though essential but full of scare tactics and vague commitments for us to use them. Followed by pressure sales call including warnings of potential major fines from the EPA! (this for a toilet overflow), and quickly followed by the assurance that our insurance would pay everything anyway so  why not just do it!? I paid the bill and moved on. Yikes!

The Invoice above was the most recent and easiest for me to isolate for a job to price concept.
We first called Fords on the middle of a disaster in March of 2014. They have done many jobs for us and each one has been done well. They have handled everything from valve replacements, angle stops, installation of shut off valves to repipe  (OLD building), fixed poorly done plumbing jobs, water heater fixes and leaking pipe repairs.
They are easy to reach and professional.
The only downside we have ever experienced is that at times there seems to be a disconnect in scheduling and the guys in the field. I recall one job where the office seemed unaware of all the parts the tech needed and there was some confusion regarding timing.
But all and all WE KEEP CALLING THEM!
I just called them again today and as always they are very nice on the phone!
