    The Ivy Builders
The Ivy Builders helped me changed my entire back yard. The work they did is top level, I hoped for great result but it even exceeded my expectations ! Tal and Nick were always responsive to our calls and request, and they fixed every small concern we had

Amy Rothman is so great to work with! She has all of the contacts you'll need to know to get great deals on a variety of materials needed for any interior design work in the LA area. She is so friendly and fun to be around, and goes out of her way to make sure you are happy with all of the work she does. I highly recommend working with her on any of your design projects!

    Kleyn Design + Build
Fantastically well! Zach is always on time and willing and able to perform basic tasks (changing out light bulbs in ceiling cans) to more difficult ones (reorganizing a tech closet which required building shelves and sorting through miles of cables) to make his clients have a more meaningful life by solving and completing everyday tasks. He is highly motivated, a creative problem solver, and his work is accomplished with professionalism.

    Architrave Interiors
Highly recommend Amy of Architrave Interiors. She is very knowledgeable of everything renovation related. She is a wonderful space planner and was able to convince me to adjust our construction plans.Amy has a wonderful assortment of cabinet options, and they are really great quality! After working with Amy, I know other people who had her do an extensive kitchen remodel a few years ago, and they told me her kitchen design & cabinets look terrific & are still holding up wonderfully. The salespeople at Mission Tile West and Fergusons all said glowing things about Amy when I purchased tile and plumbing fixture for other clients, so I'm very happy with how the project ended up. Thank you for everything Amy!!!

    Geagea Designs
Significant and costly one year project remains incomplete despite having paid in full for services and undelivered items. I have reached out numberous times and tried to contact Lena Khatter, owner and designer of Geagea Designs, for two months with absolutely no response (phone calls, texts and emails). Her recommended and hired woodwork craftsman, Brian Walker of Style 23 has also left the job incomplete after being paid in full. I have reached out to both Brian Lena for help in resolving this issue and she has refused to get involved despite the fact that she connected us and recommended him highly. Both have refused to return numerous calls, texts and emails. I have contacted numerous suppliers that have worked with both Lena and I on this project, some of them have also not been paid by Lena, despite the fact that I was invoiced, and paid for these services in full. These suppliers have told me that they know her to be dishonest and will not do business with her going forward. The goal of Lena Khatter and Geagea Design is to maximize the amount of money she can make off of the client. Profit is what Lena cares about most. One example is that she tried to charge me $16,000.00 for throw pillows for my couch. I declined and completed the pillow project on my own for $1000.00. Tellus Design and Build
Tellus' work exceeded our expectations. Our new skylights and ceiling vaults brighten the home and maximize the natural light. We finally have our beautiful, airy, mid-century modern beach home! We ran into some issues with the Interim Control Ordinance, which limited our square footage, but Tellus pivoted quickly and we were able to take full advantage of our space.

Human Nature Design & Construction Inc
Leo and his team were incredible. They took all of the time they needed to give us very detailed plans that answered everything the contractor needed to know. Leo went above and beyond to answer all of our questions patiently, even the stupid ones (it was our first time doing a renovation so we had no clue what it was all about). I would hire him again in a second, and I strongly recommend him. He made multiple visits to our house to do the measurements and then to explain his findings when he delivered the final plans. He remained involved throughout the actual renovation to make sure everything was going ok.

    Susan Deneau Interior Design
I am very happy with the result. She has a great process that includes listening to the client objectives, understanding their esthetic, and building a plan. One thing she does is to pick out a key piece for a room and build the design from that. In the case of my living room it was a beautiful rug and in the bedroom it was a vintage chandelier. This establishes a general color palate and overall vibe for the room. From there she works out all the soup to nuts details from furniture options to cabinet hardware and everything in between. She does a great job finding unique and interesting pieces as well as the more conventional items. This was my first time working with a designer and Susan made the process easy and enjoyable. She honored my opinions and offered suggestions (which I personally needed!) She also considers both form and function in her designs, making the spaces both beautiful and livable. Susan draws upon a team of skilled and professional contractors to carry out the work, all of which I would hire again. The cabinetry work I had done was exquisite. This project involved essentially all the trades - plumbing, painting, electrical, woodwork, and tile work. Not only was the work done well, but Susan did all the scheduling and coordination. One last note from my experience. The bedroom rug was not laying flat. Susan and her assistant tenaciously worked to sort this out which included trying 3 different rug pads. It did get fixed and they took care of it including working with the vendors to ship back the ineffective pads. I had a similar experience with the towel hook on the shower door, which was absurdly high when first installed. Susan worked with the vendor to get it sorted out. My point is that she will work till you are satisfied.

    Studio Blu
We could not be happier with the work she did. She was a true professional in every sense. Her level of detail and creativity is incomparable. She has an unbelievable eye and is beyond talented. Every time we walk into our home we feel like we are entering a 5 star resort. We would hire her for every home moving forward and can not recommend her enough.

    Berger's Table Pad Factory
We paid up front. We were told a kit would be mailed to us with instructions how to measure the table. The information was then to be sent to the company and they'd follow through to make, and send us, the pad. No measuring kit was sent. So we called, and the company assured us a kit would be sent. It has been weeks and it has not arrived. We are out $199 at this point with nothing to show for it. This is disappointing as this is the first Angie's List offer we tried and I had hoped that they would be better than other similar ones.
