Fantastically well! Zach is always on time and willing and able to perform basic tasks (changing out light bulbs in ceiling cans) to more difficult ones (reorganizing a “tech” closet which required building shelves and sorting through miles of cables) to make his clients have a more meaningful life by solving and completing everyday tasks. He is highly motivated, a creative problem solver, and his work is accomplished with professionalism.

I had four chairs cleaned. He did a VERY GOOD job on my leather chair and two of my fabric chairs. He explained, and I agree with him partially that he couldn't get some spots out of the fourth chair. But,after he left I was looking at the arms of the chair and I believe he could have done a MUCH better job on them. They don't look much different then they did before he started. The rest of the chair was done well.

This business is just fantastic. I am not used to people in Los Angeles ever doing what they say they're going to do, but Rene does. He's professional, fast, honest, helpful and he clearly works hard. He cared about my business. He listened to me. He did the job faster than he had estimated and he showed up promptly to deliver the chairs. I don't know how you can ask for more than that! This is a family business. They've been around for a lot of years, and they still care.

Hired to reupholster AND re-spring sectional sofa. Also ordered two sets of sofa slipcovers. Pushed hard to change to 'down' cushions which was not something I wanted. Good advice on fabric for reupholster. Took nearly two months to complete. When returned and I checked the slipcovers, two cushion covers missing. When I called them, they asked me to measure cushions (?) that I felt they should have already measured. Missing covers arrived fairly quickly. The sofa did not feel like it had been re-sprung, did not feel sturdier. My contact seemed confused, then called me back and assured me that the re-spring had been done and that the seat on the sofa was correct. Funnily enough, contact at Ferrufino Interiors called me a few years later and asked me if I was still happy and to please refer them to my friends. I asked if my filed showed the work done and it only reflected the reupholster & slipcovers. When I asked about the re-spring, he said'couldn't tell from the records.' I just had my sofa reupholstered again and the new company said that the springs were old...and original.

Three-piece custom bookshelf. CUSTOM, with a specific height and very specific shelf dimensions, all spec carefully measured and given to AFF. One piece had glass door. Shelves adjustable (with holes for pegs), but needed the shelf spacing specific size When the piece arrived, the shelves were not to spec, so the storage baskets did not fit. When I called Andy's Finest Furniture (AFF), they said that I could use some of the shelves and just use the last shelf for something smaller. I said "no", if the piece was properly made, each shelf would perfectly fit the baskets I had purchased. Unfortunately, the piece would have to be totally dismantled to re-drill holes and clearly, AFF did not want to do that. They tried to charge me to pick up the piece, so I brought it back myself. When the bookshelves were returned (AFF charges for delivery), the peg holes were much further apart (less flexibility) and the piece was painted with a flat color -- not good for bumping or long-term use. I ordered extra shelves and they were not of the same wood, but of inferior particle board. Ok, so the shelves finally fit & space properly, but the section with the glass doors, when the shelves were put inside, the door wouldn't close! Augh! Could they not test this at the warehouse? I had to send that piece back as well so the shelves could be adjusted. Again, the piece should have been painted with a semi-gloss for durability AND when a handy friend looked closely at the piece, he said that all the pieces had been cut with a dull blade and the jagged edges (under the paint) reflected the poor work. After all the hassle, I kept the piece as it suited my purposes, but I cannot recommend Andy's Finest Furniture for custom work.

The quality is amazing.  You can wash  these items multiple times (as I have) and they remain bright as when they first arrived.  Stains disappear and NO IRONING.  Can't wait to order more.

We paid up front. We were told a kit would be mailed to us with instructions how to measure the table. The information was then to be sent to the company and they'd follow through to make, and send us, the pad. No measuring kit was sent. So we called, and the company assured us a kit would be sent. It has been weeks and it has not arrived. We are out $199 at this point with nothing to show for it. This is disappointing as this is the first Angie's List offer we tried and I had hoped that they would be better than other similar ones.

I applied for Sales Manager position in Santa Monica at the beginning of 2015. After submitting my resume a recruiter called to set up a phone interview. The next step was to meet with Regional Manager for my area. I sat through the interview which was about 10 minutes total and was interrupted several times. I realized that the job at hand was really for an entry sales associate position paying no more than $14 hourly.

They lie to you and claim you can make $25-$120K. It’s a SCAM, truth is that no one makes that kind of money there. The most I made while there was about $33k and I was scraping by in life. No negotiation, you are told what the hourly and commission % is upfront no matter how well you perform during probationary months. You can only qualify for a Sales Manager position after hitting impossible sales goals (6 to 12 mo) as a sales associate first. Don’t bother applying if you don’t have a car. On float days you never know what store you will end up at.

Ortho operates a micro staff therefore you can expect to be overworked for 10 hour days, low pay, extremely long hours, higher than average mattress prices, incredibly low customer traffic unless, poor work environment and a tiny pay check with no room for growth. You will be asked to work weekends and holidays without overpay. Commissions are impossible to track and always seem like less then what I had expected. The company changed the commission structure while I was only 2 months into my job.

I am extremely surprised Ortho has not been taken to court already for multiple labor code violations. I’ve worked with Henry, Larry, Danny and Alex who were all nice guys however lacked the skills and maturity to make it a worthwhile environment. Managers were often absent where you could find them smoking weed in the parking lot or talking on their phone.

Overall management were under qualified for the position title, unprofessional at times, poor communicators, lazy structure, bad company culture and abuse of power (Henry-Son of Owner.) I was often uncomfortable while witnessing SM Store managers (14/15) flirt relentlessly with the few attractive female co-workers the company had. I was privy to MANY inappropriate conversations and comments made to my co-worker (Kat) and also her disappearing acts with mgrs. for lunch while I babysat the store. It’s no surprise that she does not work for the company anymore. I watched the VP of Sales/SM Mgr (Danny ) hit on trainees and customers while working with him. He was a fun guy to work with. He told me one time that he slept with a married customer multiple times after selling her a mattress as encouragement for me to flirt with female customers for better sales (even though I have a girlfriend.) They have had sexual harassment law suits and begging for another! Slimy work ethics to say the least. The best people you could hope to work with if you get a job at Ortho are Henry or Alex. I highly doubt that any of the mentioned employees still work for Ortho with the exception of Henry.

There is LOTS of down time. The traffic varies and most of the time you are doing nothing. My biggest responsibility was opening the door in the morning. I have photos of a co-worker who actually fell asleep at his desk around 2pm, it’s that boring. I was eventually transferred from the SM store because I did not reach my sales goals. They moved me to a farther out store from where I lived knowing I did not have a car. I eventually quit. This is what you get when you work at Ortho. I will agree with EVERY negative review on this company. Ortho rips off customers and employees as well, I’d never work for their company again.

This has become on my favorite places- love that I can walk there with my sweet fur baby and he can rest under the outdoor table! The wait team there are some of the best in the city! If I come with my three kids they greet us happily and engage with them instead of hiding or wishing they didn't have us- the food is ALWAYS great and the wine list is also quite good!!! It's so great to always have a great meal with great service!!!!

We have been clients of F and R Interiors for the last 18 years.  First when I lived in an apartment & now in our home.  We have used them for all of our window treatments.  They have always provided us with great service and are very courteous.  I have a new project I would like to work on and I have already begun the process with F and R Interiors.  If you are looking to install new shades, curtains or shutters, you should consider F and R.
