  • Two servicemen from Rick's Appliance arrived on time.  They examined the dryer, replaced the drying element, cleaned inside the dryer and pulled the dryer out and cleaned behind for me.  They suggested I have the dryer cleaned inside at least every year to reduce the possibility of fire.  Total cost was about $90.  Friends thought I would have to get a new dryer....it was fixed for under $100!  I was very happy with the service and will have them back whenever I have a problem with any of my appliances...and of course will have them back at least once a year to examine and clean my dryer.

  • Rick and his partner arrived on time and were very professional. The team seemed very knowledgable of the model however, after seeing a code error he hadn't seen before on our refrigerator, he used resources like the Internet and other repairmen to quickly understand the issue. He was able to troubleshoot the issue and fix it in a very short time. Great job.

  • The technician arrived and had the problem diagnosed quickly. He had the part with him, installed it and performed several checks of the dryer and it is now working fine. Excellent job Richard!

  • The service man was very polite, knowledgeable and provided information on how to avoid another incident. The price was well under what I expected to pay, which was a nice surprise. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

  • Repaired our refrigerator after another attempt had been made by a rep. from a different company that was recommended by manufacturer, That person worked on it and did as much or more harm than good. Did not seem to know what parts could be tugged on to pulll the fridg.(on rollers) away from the wall and tugged on breakable inside plastic parts to move it. Also, did not repair the problem,
Rufonis fixed by Rufonni's with no trouble.

  • By nature they are a contractor so they were able to do this other work for me, too. He was recommended by someone else and they did what they were intended to do. They did the work and they did it very well; the work was professionally finished.

  • I called Paul late in the day and he arrived on the early side of the appointment window the following day.  I had given him the model number of the washer over the phone and he therefore had the replacement part with him.  He was professional, prompt and great to deal with.  I would not hesitate to call him again.

  • Both Dave and Richard were very friendly and professional. One was in training and he actually performed the job with the guidance of the other. Once the problem was diagnosed, a quick reasonable estimate was given to me, which I accepted. They completed the repair in a matter of minutes.
When they left my house, I decided to do a load of laundry. I discovered only hot water was going in and when I switched to cold water, the machine stopped. I immediately called the company to see if Dave and Richard could return to my house, which they did shortly afterwards. Again, they were quick to figure out the problem: my husband forgot to tell me he had turned off the cold water. Once it was turned back on, the problem was solved.
I would definitely recommend this company to others.

  • Rick came out, analyzed the situation, and explained our options. One option (not always available) was to use a loaner freezer so we could save the freezer contents. Our freezer had to be emptied and defrosted before an accurate problem analysis could be made. We took him up on the loaner and did the transfer, defrosting, and restarting of freezing. It turner out to be the timer that was defective; it had to be ordered - 35 year old freezer. They ordered the timer, installed it and the freezer checkout perfectly. The process with checking out the freezer and delivery and pickup of the loaner involved making 6 appointments, 5 of which were completed within the scheduled window and the remaining one was rescheduled early in the window. Office staff and technicians were all great to work with. I highly recommend Rick's Appliance Service.

  • It started with an impressive job done by Rick's dispatcher, Danielle. She helped gather the information that would help Rick to be prepared when he arrived on site. We agreed on a date / time and Rich arrived on schedule. He diagnosed the problem and left saying he'd get back to me in a day or two after he had a chance to double-check his strategy with Kitchenaid. Danielle called a couple of days later and explained my options and we agreed to order a new control panel. She called again about a week later to let me know the part had arrived and scheduled Rick to install it. Again Rick arrived on schedule, installed the new control panel without a glitch and reminded me that it came with a 90-day warranty. I couldn't be happier since I thought I'd have to buy a new range where instead, for $260, this range should provide many more years of reliable service.
