    Haderle Pest Control
Overall Jon Haderle was, at first, a pleasure to work with. He was pleasant during our inspection and provided a reasonable quote for the services to be performed. He came one afternoon to begin the project. Said he would return Saturday to complete it and never showed. Has not returned multiple calls or emails. We made the mistake of paying him after the first time he came out and the was a mistake. He has not completed the work, so we've reached out to our bank and have filed a fraud complaint. Avoid the headache and find someone reliable!

    CARDIFF PEST CONTROL INC
Ken is very pleasant and does a thorough job of spraying for insects and removing exterior cobwebs. He comes every 2 months to spray, but the cost of his service is shown on an annual basis although we pay him $90 every time he sprays.

    CARDIFF PEST CONTROL INC
Cardiff responded promptly to my phone call and arranged a site inspection quickly. They identified the problem and did a spot treatment, all within a week. They did not try to sell me anything I did not need. I was happy with the service.

We had fleas. We were having our kitchen remodeled and we were living in the outside kitchen and all our food was laying out and he sprayed all the poison. We had to clean everything up and throw all the food away. It was a nightmare.

I told them about not coming and apparently, the wires got crossed, I don't know and anyway, I called the young man and said "Didn't you see the kitchen". See we have a huge outside kitchen about 20 feet from the door and our other kitchen was being remodeled so we were literally living outside. I said "didn't you see that?" and he said "yeah", and I said "you sprayed poison". and he said "well it isn't that big a deal". I said "what are you talking about, you walk around with masks on and everything, and headgear and gloves, what'd you think about us having all our food and plates and stuff out there?" We had to strip that whole entire thing down. It was a nightmare.

The man was nice, the company was responsive, we had no problems with them, they just didn't think! And unfortunately we were the loss of  the not thinking. We had set up a date and I told them to please call me because that date may not be any good if they get the kitchen started. Well, he just didn't remember. That's part of a problem, I mean, he was a nice man, I didn't have any issues with him.

Their work was good, the fleas are gone, I mean they are gone. So work wise they did a good job, they just made a mistake, they didn't think.

They were courteous, they came with all of their equipment, they were neat, he was polite, their billing was fine. I had no issues with them as a company. If he had waited a couple of weeks, then we could have had them come out, but it just didn't go right.

They never billed us for the second time, I don't know what the cost was, but we never got a bill. I figured they figured they did enough to make up a point. They never called me to apologize, never heard from them, but I did not receive a bill so I assumed that was their way of saying we're sorry.

I didn't have a bad contact with them. If I were to refer them, I would refer them to someone else. They didn't do bad work, we just had a little bit of a problem, a misdemeanor.

It was kinda big, but it was abnormal. There normally isn't that kind of stuff going on in the back yard. We were upset, but we didn't call them up and send horrible letters and call them names or anything but I did call and tell them that I was upset with the fact that you saw.

There was a full kitchen out there. We had umbrellas out there, big ones, and we had all our food and all of our stuff we use to clean the salads, salt and pepper shakers out there, all of our kitchen. We had to decontaminate everything.

It's just the way it was, and we never thought anything about it again, and no hard feelings. Never any bad contact with them at all.

I have no issues with their time being here, responsive, politeness. The gentleman was a nice man. The problem was the spray, it wasn't so much that they sprayed along the house, but the kitchen is on top of a large deck and that was where the fleas were. So when he sprayed the underside of the deck, the spray came up thru the boards. If he had just sprayed the house, we would have been a lot safer, but he sprayed underneath and it came up thru the redwood decking and the kitchen is right there.

They did a great job. He came out, he told us he were coming, we closed all the doors and windows so none of that would come in. He told us to stay away from the outside for about 3, 4 or 5 hours. We did that and no problems.

    Bay Area Rodent Solutions
My first impressions with Bryan when he did the original design and estimate were excellent. I no longer live in the residence and heard some bothersome things about the unprofessional crew that showed up to block the entry points. I took it under advisement but became really concerned when rodents were still being trapped six weeks after the entry points were blocked. The painting contractor doing interior work definitely saw entry points that had not been blocked, so we called and asked for someone to come out. The field crew arrived and when they were on site admitted that one area that was blocked had a bad design since there was a two inch gap and the blockage denied access to the main water shut off. The field crew later reported to the main office that we had violated our warranty by the work we were doing in the **interior** of the house (we have a painting and sheetrock contractor). The main office sent an email stating they had to come out and bid work on resealing the entry points. At this point, I am beside myself. I selected this company based on their excellent reviews.

    Planet Orange
They came for the free inspection in which the guy quickly looked around inside and out, and double checked that the beams under the roof were not rotting. He recommended a local treatment which costs $1350 and comes with a 2-year warranty covering any new infestation over that period of time. There was also a fungus (apparently very small) and they removed it for an additional $250. They were professional throughout the process and I had a good interaction with them. The reason for my B rating for price is that, in the end, I paid $1500 for them to come in, drill a few holes and pump orange oil in them, all within 1 hour of them getting here. So if I don't get any more infestations in the next two years, I essentially paid them $1500/hour. I feel like I could have tented the whole place for just a little more.

    Bay Area Rodent Solutions
Crew arrived within communicated time range provided by scheduler in advance of the appointment so met expectations for start time. Laid down plastic (as was entering interior of house to access crawl spaces below first floor along with the attic.  Six crew members supported repairs and/or sanitation work spec'd out which included:
*Placing a wood shimmy on front of the main garage door to address potential entry of rodents
    * Placing wood shimmy on side garage door to address potential rodent entry
    * Thorough cleaning, disposal of undesired items and sanitation within the interior of the exterior wood tool shed
    * Placing a wood shimmy to the two front exterior wood tool shed doors to block entrance by rodents
    * Replaced wire mesh and repaired fascia just under roof where roof rats had likely entered into the attic
*Cleaning, sanitation of crawl space under home. Removal of chewed installation and replaced with new installation. Set traps to capture any rodents still in the crawl space.
*Repaired/replaced wire mesh at two points of entry on foundation - one of which was likely point of entry for rodents into crawl space below first floor.
    * Placed concrete over extrusion in wire mesh made for exterior lighting system to block potential point of entry for rodents.
    * Sealed several points in concrete to prevent possible points of entry for rodents (unspec'd but performed).
All crew members were professional and courteous and knowledgeable. Val, the inspector who provided the work estimate, was also part of the crew who performed the work. This was beneficial to ensure that all details of the repairs discussed verbally with him post inspection, were performed as spec'd.
Pros: On time (both inspection and for repair work); professionalism and courteousness of crew; responsiveness of Val the inspector to requests for further detail or questions I had post inspection; Quality of Work; Thoroughness of work against work estimate
Cons: Gave price a "B" - project cost not inexpensive but work performed was of high quality and should ensure exclusion of rodents in the future.
The work estimate used is a template document and offers fairly general descriptions. Highly suggest requesting your inspector followup with a detailed work order, if not provided to you at time of estimate, so that there are no discrepancies on expectations the day the work crew arrives for repairs. I pursued this with Val and he provided at my request via email, along with pre-repair photos he had taken (and shown me) for my files.  I will also be receiving a post repair work detail along with photos taken of the repairs made.

The service turned out just fine. It was exactly what I expected. They came and did the house inside and outside and it seemed to do the trick. I would recommend them. He was here right when he said he would be.

They were honest. It would have cost more for us to do the spot cleaning but they were honest and said they didn’t think it would take care of our problem because our house has many angles. They were great. I think the pricing was good. The quality of service was great.
