  • ..I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH BAD SERVICE from any type of service company in my entire life!.  Two young men (looked to be late teens or early twenties) showed up to clean the carpets for the home I was getting ready to sell.  They finished so quickly that I found it hard to believe.  I understood why when I saw the carpet the next day after it dried.  It looked as though their carpet cleaning machine and just sucked up the dirt and then left it to dry on top.  I had asked if they guaranteed their work before they left and they said yes so even though I was disappointed with the job they did I felt they would make it right. I called and let them know that the job needed to be done again and they came out the same day. The same kids came and said they would clean it again but the carpet was clean when they left (WRONG!) and they said the contractors we had working there must have walked on it but there would have been no reason for the contractors to walk on that part of the carpet since they were all finished with their work in that room. Then they said it was probably just the lighting that made it look like it wasn't clean or it was just the way the nap of the carpet lay.  It was one excuse after another.  They ran their machine over it all again but when it dried the next day it was still not clean (better but not clean).  I was very angry so I called and asked to speak to a supervisor or the owner.  I was told they had left for the day and they would be in after 10am the next day.  I phoned the next day around 10:30am and was told they were running late.  I finally was able to speak to someone in charge late that afternoon.  I think she said her name was Val or Vel, (the accent sounded middle eastern) she proceeded to yell at me and then she lied and said the contractors left footprints on the carpet and that they had admitted to walking on the carpet.  I knew that wasn't true because the contractors last day there was the day before the carpet cleaning so they never could have spoken to them and I had checked out the carpet and there were no footprints of any sort.  Anyways she continued to scream at me and yell over my conversation but finally said they would send them back a few days later to look at the carpets again then called two hours before they were to come and said they decided not to come out again after all.  I hung up on them!
    I needed an expert carpet cleaning job as I will be showing my home and needed it to look really great.  Now people will come in and see the blotchy, unprofessional work they did and now I will have to pay another company to come out again and do the kind of work I paid for the first time. I asked for a refund of my $200 and was told they do not give refunds.
    I should also mention that for some odd reason their company seems to use at least three different names that being Carpet Cleaning Services, Citrus carpet cleaning and Cleaning California Carpets.  Their invoice had a phone number or 1-877-1548 but no address.  The boys that came out said the business was in downtown L.A. and that was the only indication of their location.
    I would not waste my money calling this company to clean your carpets. You would be better of getting some kids from middle school to do it for the same quality but less money.

  • From the office to the actual appointment everything was easy. Every person I worked with was professional and helpful. I am very happy I decided to go with them because my carpets look amazing and my couches look new again. Best company iv had.

  • First of all, let me start with that the carpet they cleaned they did a good job cleaning.  However, I must say that is the end of my positive comments regarding this company.
    The day of service, the serviceman showed up two (2) hours later than the latest time given for my service window.  I received no phone call telling me they would be late.  I had to call and ask whether they were still coming.  Once there, he did a good job on the areas he did clean.  However, he moved no furniture, even smaller pieces.  My husband moved our coffee table so he would clean underneath it.  In addition, he did not clean any of the closets in our home (and that was suppose to included in our package that I ordered).  When he was done, I discovered that the bill overcharged me by one hundred forty-nine (149) dollars the amount I had already paid through Angie's List.  I paid the bill in its entirety and left a message with the owner, Doug Risdall.   
    After the first message, Doug called me back fairly quickly.  He told me that he did not know how to do a refund because of the manner in which I paid; so I told him that if he could give me a deal on carpet cleaning for my daughter's house, I would not require the refund.  Doug told me he would work some numbers and call me after the weekend.  I did not hear from him, but after a few extra days I called him again twice (2x) and left a message each time.  He did call me back once, but I missed his call.  He left a message saying to call him back.  I have called back twice (2x) since then and have not heard back at this time.  It has been two (2) weeks since I have heard from him and four (4) weeks since my service.  
    I am assuming that I will not receive my refund.

    UPDATE:  After I wrote my review, I did receive a refund of two hundred (200) dollars in the mail.  I never heard back from the owner, however I am happy to have my refund (plus some for work not completed) and to have the issue resolved.

  • Carpet Cleaning:  Mark helped move furniture into another room and move it back after he was done.  He placed plastic under some of the furniture to protect the floor after the cleaning.  The carpet looks great, even the area in the hallway that had previously looked particularly dirty.  And after Mark was done he brought out a couple of fans to help the carpet dry faster.  The carpet was actually not that wet when he finished the cleaning.  We were very happy with the results.
    Cleaning of leather loveseat:  I have to say I was extremely impressed.  We purchased this leather loveseat several years ago from The Leather Factory.  At one point we gave it to our daughter when she moved in with some friends, and our daughter returned it to us when she moved out of state.  Before we took it, my daughter had tried to give it away to a local charity that picks up furniture; however, they passed on it based on its poor condition.  I was thinking about throwing it out, but when I found that Mark cleans loveseats I decided to give it a try, and am I glad I did.  After all these years, the loveseat looks like new. 
    This was the first time we used Mark's services, and we found him to be knowledgeable about his craft.  I plan on using him again in the near future to clean and seal the grout in our tile floor.

  • It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was very convenient. They were very friendly and the guys did take some time to give me advice on maintaining carpets with pets in the household. That was nice; otherwise the service was pretty average, not incredible or not bad. It was what I had expected.

  • I last used them last November. They were excellent. They're extremely professional and they did a good job. The price that they charge was reasonable. They make sure everything is done. They were very good.

  • This was my second time using this company.  I had them clean three rooms and a different couch in the upstairs part of my house one year prior.  I purchased this second big deal coupon in April 2012, but unfortunately I had to reschedule it a couple of times.  They were very flexible with their scheduling and usually come out the next day!  Because I had to change my appointment a couple of times, my coupon ended up expiring in October 2012.  They came out and cleaned my carpet in December and still honored my coupon!  They were very professional and prompt in their service.  My only complaint about them is that each time they came out they tried to "upsell" me on a deep cleaning for certain parts of my carpet by warning that a "regular" cleaning may not have gotten the stain out.  I took my chances without the upgrade and fortunately the results came out great!

  • The chairs probably took more time than the carpets, but everything came out looking great. After the carpet dried, some nonpermanent marks remained on some portions of baseboards, and when I contacted John, he immediately scheduled a crew to return to remove them, which they did. I was most appreciative for that responsiveness, after I'd paid the company....

  • The employees were very polite and arrived on time for the job.  They took extra precautions to ensure that walls weren't scratched with the hoses and the carpets look beautiful.  I was very pleased with the results.

  • These guys are fantastic and by far the best carpet cleaning service we have hired. I took advantage of the Angies List Coupon that advertised 900 square feet and 1 piece of upholstery for $119.00 and scheduled an appointment a few days later. They arrived early and on time. I additionaly requested them to clean another badly stained sofa, 13 stairs and also requested the Scotchguard Fabric Protection, given that I declined that service from another carpet cleaner on a previous occasion and ever since then it has been difficult to remove the stains. The carpet was very poorly stained and we have had it for approximately ten years now. They completed the work in less than 2 hours and by the time they were done the poorly stained carpet and heavily stained sofa looked as good as the day we had purchased them. We have used several different carpet cleaning companies in the past, but none as good these guys.
