    Cool Box Portable Storage
Made arrangements to have my box delivered 3 weeks before it was supposed to arrive on a Saturday between 8-10a. It is now 12:15p and after having to call 2 times (even though Elizabeth promised she'd call me if it wasn't here by 12p) I'm told it won't be here until 1p. What is the point of making an appointment? Absolutely would not recommend this service if you want anything done on time.

    SHARPENING MECHANICS
I was very pleased with their responsiveness since they sharpened all 3 shears while I waited, so it saved me a trip having to go back to pick them up. They work so much better now, too! Amazing the difference a good sharpening can make.

    Advantage Moving & Storage
The professionalism of everyone involved was excellent. We received an estimate 24 hours after making the first phonecall and boxes were delivered as soon as we accepted the bid. The packing and loading team were fast and careful, and everything arrived in good condition, on time. It was particularly nice that one member of the moving team drove the truck south, and was part of the team at our destination.

    HomeRiver Group San Antonio
Work was completed timely. Contractor invoices were paid promptly. Rapid communication using email. When necessary, I was contacted on my mobile phone. Great service! Compassion for tenants. Makes me, the property owner, look great!

    Comcast

I have been a lot happier with them in the last couple of years. They are much better than they used to be as far as down time, service response and stuff. I am unable to compare prices. There have only been two times in the last 10 years that they have had to come out here.

    RANDAZZO'S WATER CONDITIONING
I contacted 3 different water softener contractors for estimates and I went with Randazzo's.   I found Rick to be straightforward, practical and down to earth.   He scheduled the initial consult fairly quickly and then arrived on time and was very patient with all my questions.  His price was around the same as one of the other estimates, give or take a few bucks.   What won me over was his Yelp and Angies List reviews, plus as I mentioned his direct and no fuss approach to explaining the product and the installation needs.
As for the install that went fine.  His plumbing contractor (William) was professional, detailed, and hard working.   The install took one day for all 3 systems.    Much of the installation was the need to lay additional plumbing under the house since our house did not have the requisite plumbing -- a sign that our old house has never had a water softener until now.   Also, Rick had me select what I wanted for the faucet for the RO system.  And he had me do this ahead of time so that the part was available on the day of install.   I appreciated that I then got the style and trim I wanted and not some default generic part.
Around a month after the install I had a issue with the brine tank getting filled up with water that needed follow up and Rick was responsive and lived up to my impression of his professionalism.
I also really appreciated Rick's salesmanship so to speak.    He did NOT oversell product and for this I really appreciate his approach.  For instance on the RO system he was specific about what I needed (actually he in some ways tried to talk me out of an RO system) in regards to the number of "stages" for the quality of water from our water retailer.   Also, he inquired why I wanted a whole house water filter (GAC) and made sure I understood that it was not really "needed", but proceeded since I've always wanted one for the sake of less chlorine in water used for bathing.
Also, a nice touch in my opinion is he took the owner's manual that came with the water softener hardware and marked it up for the content that was relevant to the unit that was installed.  This way when one goes and looks at the manual years later it's clear which version of the product we have installed and what sections are applicable for the control unit he installed, plus the version of the tank itself.    Also, on the follow-up visit he gave me the salt details so that we can purchase the correct type of salt for the brine tank, as I bought pellets by mistake the first time I went to Home Depot to get salt to be ready for when it was time to replenish the brine tank.
As for using the products themselves - I LOVE softened water!   Until you have softened water you don't know what you're missing when you get accustomed to all that hard water.    Our dishwasher is looking better as the hard water buildup starts to diminish.  Also our glass shower doors are so much better, granted I needed to do some scrubbing with vinegar and dawn to get some of the hard water off.  But there's no new hard water buildup.   Also, I've been very happy with how much LESS product you need for showering, hair washing, hand washing, cleaning, etc.    It's amazing to me how many years I've put up with hard water.    As for the RO system I love our drinking water now.  I do love the taste and lack of odors, etc. and the water comes right from my tap and it tastes better than bottled water.
So if you're reading this review because you're thinking about the possibility of softener water and you live in a hard water area, then I really believe that you would be very satisfied with both the product that Randazzo's deals in plus the service level, including any follow-up needs and a worry free installation then do check out Randazzo's Water Conditioning.

    WEST BAY TELEVISION
I have a 8 year old 61" Samsung 61" DLP TV and the screen finally went black. I had ordered a new lamp and a new ballast and attempted to fix it myself with no luck.
I called West Bay on Friday at 1130am and he was at my home at 2pm the same day. He looked at the TV, saw that I had tried to fix it myself and within 10 minutes knew what the problem was. He stated that the color wheel needed to be replaced and noticed another piece had melted due to the heat. He wanted to take the TV with him (its HUGE) and said he would let me know by 2pm the next day the cost and status (though he gave me a rough estimate on the spot).
Julio took the tv with him and on Saturday he called me at 1pm, gave me the final price and said he was not even going to charge me for the house call because he respected the fact that a single mom tried to fix the tv herself. Since I had already bought the new lamp and ballast I didn't have to pay him for the parts and just the service. The TV was back in my home and up and running by 2:30pm that day.
Julio was professional, explained to me all the issues, what he did to fix it. He was on time, professional an extremely fast! I couldn't recommend West Bay Television enough! They are GREAT!

    AT&T
So far so good; no issues. It's  $100 at least because I have the  international plan. It is definitely over $100. It is a pretty reliable service and no issues at all with drop calls or anything. They are generally on the expensive side but for me since company pays for it, I don't really think about it too much.

    Language Connection Ca
I wanted to review my French Classes from years ago.  I enjoy travel and find that I could read the simple basics of the language, but could not really speak or understand what was being said.  I searched and searched for language studies that were available, flexible, appropriate for adults, and affordable.
Sophie Fritz is an excellent teacher.  She is a native speaker who uses a variety of techniques to make the language "live" in a fun, comfortable and professional manner.
She offers small, group and individual lessons that can fit around schedules.  I have also noticed high school and middle school studies arriving for lessons.  Other languages are taught at this site.

    RB Ornamental Metal Services
It was a pleasure to work with Ron. He was attentive and professional, and asked questions and provided advice when it was appropriate. He went out of his way to deliver the finished piece when I was held up at work and couldn't pick it up.
The piece itself was perfect. It was cut to exactly the dimensions specified and the material (which we had not previewed) was perfect. Edges were smooth, and our contractor - who did the installation - appreciated the properly sized screw holes and the protective cover on the visible side.
I would use Ron's services again - in fact I am going to for our next project.
