    HomeTech Construction & Design
It all started as a regular kitchen remodel but by talking to Moses , designer Allen , and the architect our plans were changing and it turned into nearly complete house makeover. This made the space more usable for our purposes. They made our closed up and dark house more open and airy. We decided go with Hometech because of their was attention to the details and their suggestions and patience which we werent getting from other companies. It was very easy to work with Moses and the whole crew, they were responsive and always answered our concerns and questions. I appreciated that during the 7-month project period the HomeTech construction crew were always the same people working in our house which made us feel safer because they knew what was going on and we didnt have strangers coming and going. The crew consistently left the house clean and they were cautious with moving things around. We had a very good experience with HomeTech, we appreciated all the care to details. The crew helped us create our dream home in real life.

    Supreme Handyman Service
Overall very satisfied. Quality of construction is good and very responsive / good communication. Compared to my previous handyman they have been a lot more professional, working with me when there are issues or things that could be changed. For example, a lot of unanticipated things came up during the attic project, but they very actively worked with me to sort things out. Good examples of attention to detail: -When doing window molding in bedroom, noticed window is put in funny. Rather than force molding on (last handyman did that), they adjusted the window so that it was set into the wall correctly -Asked about which unused boxes I wanted to keep vs seal. What I wanted painted vs not -Cut attic ladder pull down string to good height In addition to just doing the construction, they also helped me figure out what sort of molding, paint, etc would be good. I'm not too picky on options, but I get overwhelmed by the choices, so I appreciated the help here. If I had to name some issues: only minor issues due to not clarifying scope of work well enough, but that was also my fault. Some minor cosmetic issues after painting, but they did a touch up pass to make sure I was happy with the work.

    Brother & Brother Builders
I requested bids from and interviewed several local firms before choosing Brother & Brother based on good reviews , detailed bid and reasonable price. Ido Pistiner the supervisor for my project laid out the details including plans, timeline, permits needed, and partial payments to be made after each step was completed. His crew was here everyday (except weekends) and Ido came by daily to check on the progress and quality of the work. The crew was friendly, trustworthy and easy to work with. They finished the job on time in 1 month. The job included installing new tub, plumbing, wall and floor tiles, electrical wiring, fan and lighting fixtures, sink and vanity and another cabinet as well as replacing wall board , repainting and cleanup. Big job finished on time.. I'm very happy and recommend Brother & Brother and specifically Ido and his crew.

    Pacific Construction & Design
Josef was the Pacific construction and design project manager for the recent kitchen and bathroom renovation that we recently did and his team of skilled and hardworking did a wonderful job. We greatly recommend Pacific construction and design and mainly Mike, The working crew and the office staff that was involved in our project and we will hire them again for any additional remodeling project in our house. Josef was the project manager on both remodeling projects (kitchen and bathroom), did a perfect designing job for the kitchen space by using most of the existing space with features that we needed and wanted for a while now. From start to end, the extra attention that Josef put to all the details of both projects was more than what we were looking for. He always gave wonderful ideas and suggestions and he made sure that we are happy with all the decisions about both renovations. We love both projects very much! The kitchen and the bathroom got a completely brand new look and they are very functional for our needs. It makes us very happy each time any of us walk into any of them!

    Pacific Construction & Design
We recently remodeled our kitchen with the help of Pacific construction and design. Our kitchen remodeling was a complete remodeling that included all the upper and lower cabinets, sink, island and new hardwood floor. Other than the kitchen remodeling project, we also had them to remodel our 2 closets by installing a complete shelving units in each one of them. During the remodeling process Chris was polite and expert. He was on time at the house each day, worked around the set budget and made sure that no matter what, the work will be on schedule while ensuring that we were all in agreement with the designs and plans before any work will be done.

Z7 Team Powered By Baseline Construction
It was amazing. I worked with Joe who came on the scene to discuss the repairs and estimate how that cost would look. One of the fears that you always have when working with a construction company is that you get an amazing "sales" person and you never see them again or cannot get a hold of them once the project starts. Joe was always available to talk or meet if needed. He would also pop in and out of my property even if I was not there to check on his team. What is more reassuring as well is that the team that works on your house are not subcontractors. These awesome workers are employed by Joe's company. He has what I like to refer as their team lead, Isaiah, who is self sufficient. What I mean by self sufficient is that I never had to worry that Joe wasn't on-site that everything would crumble. The team lead knew exactly what needed to be done, and honestly had the same eye as Joe. There were little things that I had not noticed needed to be tended to that Isaiah fixed on his own. Items such as caulking around door wood trim, additional cracks in the interior I didn't even notice, etc. If there were things that I may have not mentioned initially when we signed the contract Joe would just throw them into the original cost and not nickel and dime me. That was awesome because I felt I got more than what I paid for which in my experience is never the case you get with construction/contractors. The team is also very clean. At the end of each day, they would completely clean up. Meaning vacuuming as well as wiping, scraping off any excess material that may be on the floors, etc. I have never come back to my house after construction has been done and it was so clean. At the end Joe comes back and does a walkthrough of the home with you. If there is anything that may have been forgotten or missed (even by myself) Joe himself came back and conducted the repairs that same day. Overall, amazing communication, quality of work, and just an overall great feeling. I am hoping to work with them again once I decide on whether expanding my house or not. Amazing company and team, and would recommend anyone to stop looking for someone else as honestly, I think I was looking for Joe all my life when it comes to home improvements, etc.

The Custom Bathroom he designed and created was beyond anything I've imagined (especially on a budget).
Oscar sat with my Mom and got to know her first. My Mom has a easy earthly energy and she was open on ideas. Oscar created some layouts and themes to present. From there the magic began, like clock work, him and his team arrived every morning around 7am. The clean demolition was the first sign I know I hired a pro, not to add a honest one (my old tub was worth a few hundred bucks, I wouldn't have known unless Oscar told me). There was additional work needed to the foundation (rotten old boards needed replacing) Oscar practically replaced them all for the cost of the material & his workers.
What was done; 1) Custom Tiling *Floors & Walls* 2) Sheetrock 3) Plumbing 4) Toilet 5) Body spray/show 6) Over head heating fan n exhaust & night light  7) Double sink 8) Overhead vanities 9) Ceiling lights w/dimmers 10) Jacuzzi/Tub  11) New door & full mirror on the back 12) Handy-cap bars 13) New windows & trim 14) Slider Sun light Window (right above the shower)
Bathroom easily STILL looks like a $60K Value
Folks, Oscar & his team are real! Real Good! I'd highly recommend him.
Especially if your budget is low like mine was.

    Baron Construction & Remodeling Co

I purchased an Angie?s list deal for a bathroom remodel project.  The Deal was 40 hours of work for $1500.  I figured the whole project was going to be 80 to 90 hours,  so getting the first half done cheap was a bargin.  What could go wrong?  As it turns out, plenty.
My project was to be done in three phases. After I had deconstructed the bathroom down to studs and base floor,  phase one was to do some rough plumbing, and re-Frame where it was necessary to repair termite damage, which included replacing the outside bath window.  The second phase, after I had put in the insulation, was to sheet rock (actually hardieboard) the floor walls and ceiling in preparation for tiling.  The Third Phase was to texture the walls and ceilings not to be tiled, and tiling the floors and bathtub area.  I was expecting this project to take three weeks.
First, I set an appointment with Mike the Contractor to come out and review the project.  We agreed that his guys would start work on a Monday and that the Thursday before he would come by with ?guy? and review the project and put together a list of the things I would need for the project.
Mike missed the Thursday appointment and it wasn?t until Monday I got a hold of him to reschedule.   We did the kickoff meeting but didn?t start until Wednesday, which with inspection cost me four days.
The first phase, was done satisfactorily and was inspected and passed.  On the next phase however, the wheels fell
off the project.    While putting up the last piece of wall, the guy drilled into the water line  and it wasn?t until the end of the day that
the plumber could get out to repair the damage.
The next day, no one showed up, I called and was promised that someone would come out and finish.  No one showed up and
phone calls and messages were not returned until late on the Friday, promising a guy would show up on Saturday to finish.
I canceled my Saturday plans.  I needed the work done. Then waited until mid morning to call, only to be told, my guy was stuck on another job and that he would be there later in the afternoon.  Then late in the Afternoon, another apology and was promised a guy would show up on Monday, the day before the scheduled inspection
Monday morning, no guy, Two phone calls, two Texts,  ?car trouble?.  Now I am worried, the inspection is on Tuesday and the walls are not ready.  At Noon, I blow up.  I call Mike and he agrees to come to my house. We talk, he promises a guy will get there in the
afternoon.   At five o?clock I call, where is your guy?   He shows up, finally at 7:00pm but he can only do some of the work.
He promises to show up on Tuesday morning to finish.
He does show up and finishes the work before 8 am.   That is cutting it close.
I have used three different contractors on my house remodel for various things.   Baron?s was by far the worst in terms of
meeting time commitments and doing what they promised.   I cannot offer a favorable recommendation for this contractor, They missed too many commitments, cost me too much time managing their failures to perform.   In the end I awarded the last
part of the project to my best contractor and paid him more so I could get the work done right and on time.

He gave me a quote for removal of a soffet, drywall, installation of new lighting, texturing, and painting.  I was very impressed with him. This was our first quote for the work and my pre-conceive idea of the cost was totally unrealistic, which I realized when I got the quote.  I know that contactor quotes can be all over the map but I was way off,  At that point we realized we would have to wait to have the work done.

When we have saved enough to have the work done, I will contact them again.

    Orchard City Drywall
Job went very well as I had a unique situation.  I needed the laundry room completed first and then needed them to come back out ~ 2 weeks later to finish the bathroom.  Steve was easy to work with and was able to work with me and my situation and accommodate my different timeframes for the work.
