    Fast Refrigeration Service said they would arrive at my home between 3:00pm and 5:00pm. When Frank arrived, it was 5:20pm. He quickly removed the back panel from my refrigerator and told me it was the control board that needed to be replaced. He then told me it would cost $750 to replace. I told him that was ridiculous since the part, which I looked up, was only $140. I said that I would get another quote. He replied with, "you can't get another quote on a Sunday night" which implied to me that he knew I was in a pinch. I said, "I will wait." He then said, "what if I do it for $550?" At this point I didn't trust him and said, "no thanks". He then said, "ok just pay me my $65 service fee." So I said, "fine." Then as I was about to write my check he said, "what if I do it for $450"? I did the math calculation and since I owed him $65 either way, I would have to get it fixed for $385 or less to break even. I was pretty sure he was still over-charging me, but considering it was Sunday night I didn't have much of an option if I wanted a running refrigerator for the week. So I caved and had him fix it. He was done in about 30 minutes. I told him that I didn't appreciate him trying to rip me off. Anyone who comes down $300 was clearly pulling a fast one. But at least he fixed my refrigerator. The next day I decided to call around just for the heck of it and the other quotes I received for the same repair were between $300-$350. So Frank still over-charged me, but not by as much as he originally intended with his $750 quote. This is just a warning to anyone else...this company clearly operates under shady business practices.

    Fantastic repair service. Arrived within a couple hours of a weekday afternoon call and quickly gave us reasonable fixed prices for each of the possible problems. Immediately diagnosed the problems correctly, had all the parts on hand but one, and didn't charge extra time to quickly go get it. Replaced evaporator fan in the fridge; bearings, belt and gas valve coils in the dryer. No crazy mark-up on parts. Came back that evening without any hassle or extra charge to deal with a new dryer noise under load and stayed to make sure the dryer was perfectly running. He's personable, knowledgeable, and professional. I would call him first for any appliance repair.

    I sent my address via text and communicated by text message from then on. He was quick to come out but the dryer was working when he got there and he reinstalled a piece of the washer that fell off the front load of the machine. I paid him for the call and the repair of the washer. He said to just call him if any other issues occurred with the dryer. A few days later the dryer stopped working. I contacted him via text, we agreed on a time and he arrived on time as usual. He said he needed to replace some major parts and did it in timely matter and at a reasonable price. I have never been so impressed with the customer service, response time and professionalism that Mr. Pham has shown me. I trust him and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

    It went very well. Fixed the dryer without a problem. Assessed the vent situation and he determined it would be to difficult to clean it out. Turns out because I didn't have a vent cover an the birds found a warm fluffy place to make a nest. Sad to deprive them of such a humble abode but I will save money now that the dryer is functioning energy efficient again. I thought the price was high but I didn't have anything to compare it to. Thank you Mr Phan

    Awesome Service. I called ahead because many repair places don't support Viking appliances. they called back the same day and and someone out the following morning. Lorenzo called before arriving to give me a heads up. He was in and out in about 40 mins. He fixed my issue and gave me some great pointers on regular maintenance to avoid the same issue happening again.

    My House had a pretty old (>30 years) furnace that we knew would eventually need to be replaced when we purchased the house. The first issue we had with the heater was this week, and I called Quick to come troubleshoot and repair the furnace if possible.
    I worked directly with Prospero and all criteria were met (in my opion) that signify a high-quality professional service. He was extremely knowledgeable about the material. Laid out several options, and his plan to troubleshoot ahead of time; including the rough costs of what each step could entail. The whole process was fast and we determined that I had a couple options: refurbish, or replace. He gave me an up-front cost for out-the-door replacement. He is a Bryant dealer, so the price was for the recommended Bryant model suitable for my size house. Following this, I did my online research and reviewed another quote from a comparable provider (different brand etc.).
    After we made the decision to replace, we decided to also go with Quick for the replacement. Scheduling worked out perfectly, and Prospero was able to come the next day to do the work. He said up-front that he would be there at 8AM and they would be done by 2 - and I swear my doorbell rang at 8AM, and I signed the final check at 2PM. This included clean-up, lots of questions from me, and burn-in for the new furnace - I was very pleasantly surprised.

    Called him after 10 pm.  Got an answer (amazing).  Came out next morning at 8:15.  Diagnosed problem within 10 minutes.  Went off to buy the part at the supplier and returned in 15 minutes with it.  Replaced part and completed everything inside of one hour of first encounter.

    After 18 years of faithful service, the motor finally gave out on my Kenmore dryer. Mr. Pham diagnosed the problem over the phone after hearing my description. He actually had the right replacement part in his truck and came over the same afternoon to repair it. He only charged $50 for the service call -- most of the cost of the repair was the new motor itself and the attached fan. The fan needed replacing because the motor had seized up and wouldn't turn, so there was no way to get it out of the housing without damaging the old fan. Fortunately that part was a minor extra charge. Mr. Pham also had replaced the motor coupling on my Kenmore washer (same age) the previous year.  He loves working on these old Kenmores and tells me I can probably expect another five years out of the dryer before something else goes wrong -- he's predicting the timer next time. I may think about getting some sexy new machines to do my laundry. But as long as he's around and has the parts handy, I'll be happy to keep chugging along with ol' faithful drying my laundry!

    In the morning I heard a straining noise from my refrigerator, the motor was going bad. I first called Sears as it was a Kenmore. The soonest they could send someone was a week from today. That of course wouldn't work for me. 
    Came to Angie's List and found LP Appliances Services. I called and Mr Pham was available immediately. His diagnosis rate of $35 I felt was reasonable so had him come out. He was at my house within the hour, he immediately figured out the issue. He quoted me $165 for the repair and asked if I would like to proceed since the unit was ~20 years old. I replied that being out of work that $165 was cheaper than a new unit, so let's do it. 
    I had prepared beforehand (ice chest at the ready) and we emptied the freezer and he very quickly disassembled the parts he needed to get too. I watched him as he did his work and we had a very nice conversation. He was very personable. He got the motor replaced and pointed out a potential issue, example there was some frozen water in that area and he wondered if there was an issue with the ice making unit. I felt that after that long some water was bound to get in there and didn't want to pay for a possible problem (it would be $200 for that part.)
    He did ask me to just be aware of it so that if the new motor failed in a few weeks then we could probably state that the issue was water getting to the motor and freezing thus causing strain and burning it out. 
    Afterwards Mr Pham took the time to clean up after himself and yes I had some "garage" towels for that use. Maybe he should have some of his own. ;-) 
    So it's been a day and I'm very happy with the service and low cost. I would definitely call him again.

    Mr. Pham has these reviews for a reason. He is honest, responsible and very reliable. Not only did he repair the leaky freezer compartment, but also advised us on our malfunctioning stovetop and dryer without charging an additional dime. Great service!
