They did lots of behind the scenes work to make sure the transactions went as promised.. even with a bank holiday in between. Having used other firms, I’d say that CfM deserves the rating..A+++ S from LA area.

  • It was the next cab in line to take people leaving the train station, so I got in. I almost never take cabs, but had to on this occasion. I didn't realize the wide range of rates among different cab companies, and this one was WAY more expensive than any others I've ever taken or noticed the rates for on the sides of cabs on the streets. Unfortunately because of this, I got in and didn't realize the high rate until I was already in the cab and we were leaving the parking lot. As soon as I noticed at only about 75 feet into the ride that the meter was already at over $7 (for the pick up fee and the 75 feet!) I blurted out something about the rate and the driver, who I later found out is named Kelly, said "That's the rate. Do you want to get out?" (in a not incredibly friendly way). I was tired, needed to get home, was already in the cab, and figured my home was only about 1.5-2.0 miles away, so I would just keep going. MISTAKE!!!
    The ride was miserable. Kelly seemed like an angry person, smelled of cigarettes, and ranted the whole ride about various topics. When he started getting rude and sharing his strong political beliefs (which I didn't share at all), I finally had enough and made it clear that he needed to steer off that topic. 
    He was incredibly unprofessional and rude, and the just under 2 mile ride ended up costing $25! I couldn't really argue because that's what the meter said. I questioned how that could be, even at their $5.25/mi and $5.25 (or so) pick up fee, and he said that's what it cost and the meter showed it. He then made some negative comments about his cab company's management (again, totally unprofessional), and handed me a business card for the company, but wrote his name and cell # on it and said to call him directly next time and he'll give me a better fare rate.  As if I would ever call him for a cab ride again. NO WAY.
    Oh, and he never offered to help with my luggage -- not that I needed help with it, but he didn't even make a move or offer to help with it either at pick up or drop off.
    I actually kept his card and wrote on it "NEVER use them!" on it to remind myself which company I will never use again.

  • I called them yesterday to book an airline flight for two people to travel to see our children. They live across the United States. The person on the phone could not understand English. I gave him the spelling of my name 3 times and he got it wrong. I called back when I noticed what they had done (less than 2 hours later). I was on the phone with them for 3 and a half hours and wound up with zero resolution.

    I feel like there were many things they could have done to resolve this issue and they did not try anything. They said they provide my husband and I with a nights stay in a hotel, then decided that I would have to write a letter for that and it was all on me. I said that I felt like they were doing nothing to solve the problem. When I told the woman on the phone that she said she would have to disconnect the call and hung up on me. ??

    After my daughter booked a hotel with them, she traveled there and tried to use her credit card. They said they do not take American Express. That basically ruined her trip.

  • They were courteous and on time. I had delays coming form the east coast and they were great at waiting for me, even into the night. Huguette was my contact and she was unbelievably patient with the delay.
