    Midsommar Car & Auto Shipping
This is my first time shipping any car, it was from DC to CA
it was not the cheapest bid but it had the most reviews and positive ones too.

-I accepted the bid with electronic signature, so there was no need for printing and faxing (that is great since I do not have a fax or a printer at my home)

-I provided a 5 day window for pick up with preferred day out of the window that they successfully accommodated!

-I called them again 2-3 days before the shipping, with additional questions. They always available over the phone.

-Driver called me when he was 1-2 hrs. away, then Midsommar called to make sure contact with the driver was made.

-Driver came and picked on the car in 1.5 HR. gave him one key. He inspected for damages to car, gave me a receipt.

-it was delivered 6 days later. I was able to text/call the driver. He called me again 2-3 hours before he got to the destination and 30 mins before. My parents picked them up because I was not there. No damages they can see. Door to door service.

Overall my car shipping experience was good. driver was professional, they took care of my car and picked up and delivered at the earliest time.

They were on-time, super quick, and very careful with my things. They wrapped everything up real fast and carefully and got it out and into the truck. Also, they were nice, friendly guys. I really felt like I can relax and rely on these guys.

    Sterling Van Lines
Initially, we thought everything was OK, but then noticed many scratches on the furniture and a broken lamp.  The driver was very forceful about giving him a good review through the company, which I did initially.  I tried to get some help with the items that  needed fixing, but to no avail.

    Prodigy Moving & Storage
This is the 3rd time I have used this company in the past year and, once again, they did not disappoint!  Abby was able to reschedule our move at the last minute to one week earlier than we had originally planned.  Jesse, Carlos, Caesar and Vladimir did an outstanding job loading all the boxes and furniture so that everything arrived safely and quickly.  We will definitely use this company again.  Great job!

    Prodigy Moving & Storage
Abby, Pedro and Jesus were all very professional and did an extremely good job.  Abby was able to schedule the service for me at the last minute with very short notice, which I really appreciated.  Pedro and Jesus were very careful and quick with all of the items and were able to place all the furniture pieces at the final destination into my garage for storage in a way that took up as little room as possible.  I would definitely recommend them and would most certainly use them again.  Great job!

Everything made it to the right place and NOTHING was damaged!!! Arturo and his assistants work very quickly and maximize their time on the clock. He may be a small operation, but he is very professional.  All the furniture was arranged in my Dad's place neatly and quickly.  The truck was then reloaded with items for storage.  They rearraged things in the storage unit to make room for everything.  He used very good judgement to stack things safely and keep fragile items padded and away from heavier items in case there was any shifting. The items he delivered to my home included patio furniture and plants ... he even swept my patio for me before unloading the truck.  When they were done he didn't want to accept a tip I offered to him and his assistant, but I insisted.  What a gem!!!
He also works with a gentleman named Leonard Davis who has a company called Senior Transitions in Santa Barbara. (Leonard does not advertise and only uses word of mouth - that's why I reference him here) If you need someone to work with an elderly family member to make hard decisions about paring down the household and packing up things to move, Leonard is your man.  He is kind, but no-nonsense and works at a tireless pace.  He and Arturo are an incredible team.  They helped my parents move from their large home into independent retirement living seven years ago and now just my Dad into Assisted Living.
    You won't find better!!!

Arturo and his assistant Pepe were outstanding. They showed up early and hustled through the entire job. They are paid hourly and because of this - their hustle really impressed me. They did not take short cuts with any of the wrapping or moving. They packaged everything up properly and secured it safely in their truck. They removed all items and placed them in the house where we wanted them. They were always looking to please and never once made a complaint. They were eager to do as much as they could to please my fiance and I. The move took 5 hours and I tipped Arturo because it was a hot day. He moved three bedrooms, a garage and outside furniture all within 5 hours. He and his second hand man were great. I highly recommend them.

    Stateway Auto Transport Inc
Moving from California to Massachusetts, we are flying out on the 2nd. We gave Stateway a two-week window to pick up our car, with the last day being the 31st. We called and emailed them repeatedly for a week, with no responses. After we sent them a nasty email, one person (Pam) finally called back. She said that she would arrange shipment and get back to us by the 31st. We said that as long as the car shipped by the 1st, (before we get on the airplane) that was fine. She never called us back. I called every five minutes for two hours, with no call back. I sent an email to Pam ... no response. I called a few more times, and one time she actually answered the phone. She told me that she had booked a carrier (a different company) for the 4th, and then sent me an email with the details, including the fact that the cost will be $200 more than what it said when we made a deposit. I got the email and responded saying that we want to cancel the order, as this is outside of our window (we have been clear all along that we are FLYING to Massachusetts on the 1st). She is now telling us that we forfeited our deposit and she will be charging us a $100 cancellation fee.
    1. They state on their website that they are a carrier. This is not true; they are a broker.
    2. They do not return phone calls.
    3. They do not return emails.

I was very pleased with the first move with the first guy but I was very angry with the second move with a second guy. He let the job before it was done and he was on the phone talking to his girlfriend around a corner. I was working with him and I kept asking for him and he told me he was on the phone. So it seems as though he was more interested with the phone than doing my job. The woman I spoke to on the phone to schedule the job was a very nice and referring lady. Her name was Francis Heredia. She's a very qualified person. I was very pleased with her and the first guy and I gave them a big tip. The second guy was Casie and he was lousy, he was snotty, he spend a lot of time on the phone and he proceeded to tall me that his girlfriend's parents were in town and that they were going out to dinner at 6 o clock. So he was on the phone while another guy was lifting boxes and then the one on the phone says that they've been told to leave the job because it's dangerous. So I called the lady and asked who told them to leave my job because it was dangerous and she said he never spoke to him. I would give Casie an 'F' but the other little guy worked very hard and I felt bad that I couldn't give him a tip. They came late and left early. They charged $118 with a 4 hour minimum and I was very pleased with the first group.
