Air Duct Cleaning reviews in Santa Barbara

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Called AAA regarding Driving lessons for my grandson. Santa Clarita only has classes every 2 months, and January class already full with a waiting list. The next class is in March, but that date does not work for us, so I will find another Driving School in the area.

  • Superior service with a smile! Air Duct Professionals were very professional, thorough, and punctual. Charles and his team explained all costs prior to work commencing. They cleaned the entire heating system which included 14 vents and 2 returns. They also cleaned the dryer exhaust and checked all filters (they were new so no replacements were needed). They were very respectful of my elderly mother living in the house. I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

  • This is a scam so all Angie's Listers beware!  We called Sears to clean our heating ducts and they quoted $171.00 (they had a special advertised for $130 for up to 8 ducts + we were to pay an additional $30 for our ninth duct + there was an $11 gas surcharge).  We scheduled our appointment and the tech arrived 15 minutes past the tail end of our 3 hour appointment window.  Upon inspecting the ducts, the tech informed us we have asbestos in our ducts so he could not do the job but he should inspect and clean (read vacuum) the furnace as long as he was here.  He then spent 30 minutes vacuuming the furnace and presented a bill for $705.00.  When I called Sears to complain I was told that the air duct cleaning service requires the tech to inspect the furnace first because they will not clean the air ducts only if the furnace needs cleaning as well.  Makes sense.  HOWEVER, because our ducts could not be cleaned due to asbestos it makes no sense to clean the furnace when the ducts are still dirty.  Furthermore, if it is standard practice that the furnace be cleaned in conjunction with the ducts, that information needs to be shared with the customer at the time the service call is scheduled and a quote for this service needs to be given.  This is bait and switch at its worst.

  • It started out bad. Evidently the work was never scheduled! When they were 3 hours late, I called. They were very sorry and said they would accommodate me in any way they could. I said I still wanted a furnace that day. They arrived at 1:30 and completed everything by 5:00, including programming the new thermostat!

  • >When they found out I wasn't buying they quickly left.  I doubt that any of the ducts are any better than they were, and I just hope that no harm was done.
