    Budget Blinds of Tustin
Blinds were delivered on date promised. Her installer did a good job, but even though he used self drilling screws, he did split the wood on one window casing on an outside mount. They offered to come back and fix, but it is covered by the bracket and valance, so no big deal. While they were a bit more expensive than the home center brands, the quality is much better. Also, the range of colors and materials was very extensive. They offer an almost unlimited selection of window coverings. All in all, a very good experience.

Ordered the service on October 20, 2014 and it was finally all put in by the second weekend of January 2015.  We realize schedules were difficult due to the holidays.  I made it VERY clear to the office when the windows were to be put in that the time frame I had was VERY tight and to come at 2:00 p.m..  The workmen came at 11:30 a.m..  I was out of the house.  Thank goodness my husband was home.  I was called to come home while my husband went to work.  The timing was TERRIBLE for me.  It was an issue.  We waited three months and the company had to come the wrong time.  The fellows who installed were nice and professional.

Shutters came weeks later.  The shutter had a big gash on its side.  It was patched in a sloppy manner.  It shows. The fellow came to install with his wife.  They were nice.

    1) Ordered the windows to be without Argon.  They came with Argon.  Personalization of requests not done.

    2) Gave a good sum of money upfront-$1600 where the paperwork was asking for $350 per Joe's request.  Apparently the company needs the money to buy the supplies before starting the job.(?)  I did not hear anything for two weeks (we were told that we would have windows in two weeks.) I sort of got worried so I called the company.  Windows were on back log which was a relief that the money did not disappear.

    3) When windows were installed, Joe requested for the second half or at least $1000.

    4) I gave the $1000. Leaving the balance of $600.  Apparently there is no communication between departments.  The installer was requesting the full amount.  It left me feeling un-easy.  I gave the $600.  I had to be the one providing proof of payment.

Joe the sales person, is nice but pushy like most sales people.  Joe became rude to my husband and stating that they do not install the shutters on weekends but an exception will be made for us.  I asked the installer if they are making a special installation for me.  The answer was, "NO.  We do most of the installing on Saturdays and sometimes Sundays."

We will do business with this company again.  I realize that my schedule is difficult as I am only available on weekends.  It was the holiday season.  We ask that the company communicate more between each other regarding their payments.  It made us VERY nervous that one hand did not know what the other did.  we feel that as a customer, if something went wrong, we would be the one out of luck.  This is not a good business practice to make customers feel ill at ease where the money is concern.

It appears to be a good company with good people. Some internal practices may need re-freshen but they are a good company.  we will do business with them again.

That reminds me...  I did not get a paper with a guarantee with the shutters nor the windows for repairs or maintenance.  I think they may have forgotten.

It was fine. They were professional, they did the work on time, and they gave us a quote that didn't change. They were good. We used them a couple of times. They were not the cheapest, but I wouldn't say that they were expensive.

They measured two different times. The workman who measured the second time was also the installer. When he finished he cleaned up completely and then went over the operation of the shutters. Nothing complicated but things that might cause damage to the shutters. The material used is excellent and durable. I would not hesitate to used them again.

The owners are great. They talk and talk but never loose sight of the business at hand nor about stupid stuff.,they are professional and they stand behind the products they sell. Of which I think they try to only use American made! I'm all for that. However the install team might not have been made in the US. They arrived on time and got busy. My only compliant is they failed to install ALL new tack board, a certain places left and reused the old ones from the last 13 years. But stupid me forgot to say something until too late. ***************** On a side note to home owners or anyone getting flooring...... I highly recommend ~~~after the old floor is removed and prior to the new floor try administering some sealant to the perimeter of the floors edge where it meets the wall of the interior to the exterior. This helps eliminate drafts, cracks, bug entrances, moisture, and other undesirable things. It helps! *****************

    Blinds 4 Less
Everyone was super from beginning to end!!! The manager, Jim, was great and followed up on everything. Danette, who came to measure and advise me, was extremely knowledgeable. I had contacted about 4 other companies requesting 2 inch verticle blinds and had been told that such a thing did not exist. Danette knew exactly where to find them and arrived with several color and pattern choices. I was thrilled. It was only two weeks to have them made and installed. David, the installer, and his assistant, did a great job. They called me as soon as they received the blinds from the manufacturer and came right over for the install. One blind was too short, so they ordered a new one. Within about a week and a half, they were at my door to install the new one. Itand acute;s the best service Iand acute;ve had for such work, and I just happened to find them online while checking to see if such verticals existed. Highly recommended!!!

Quick response, quick quote. Measurements were taken and then retaken again by an installer. Shutters were ordered and Richard the installer came to install the shutters. He removed the old shutters from the windows and started to install the new ones. He ran into trouble due to the unevenness of the windows after the old shutter frame was removed. He had to reorder a different kind of frame in order to fit the windows properly. He returned with the new shutters and installed them. There was a small gap at the bottom of the sill--he measured it and said he would return with molding to fit the gap. He returned with the molding and installed it. Through it all Richard was pleasant and courteous and knew his craft. Even though it was a long process, Pedrino was diligent in making sure that everything was to our liking.

    Golden West Shutters
My wife and I first went to the business on Pascal Way to see what they had to offer and were shown all the various designs available along with a tour of the manufacturing facility.  We were impressed and scheduled a date and time for an estimate.  The owner, Dave Harris, came to our house on time and was friendly, knowledgable, and professional in all aspects of the visit.  He presented us with the estimate of $2800 and said he could have delivery in about 3 weeks but we wanted a second estimate from another shutter company so we held off until we could get that estimate.  The other shutter company, which has a very good reputation also, was $200 higher than Golden West so we signed the agreement with Golden West.
Since these were custom shutters made from basswood we were able to pick our color and after about a week and a half we were mailed a small basswood sample with the custom color on it for our approval.  After that the workers came out and installed our shutters and they fit beautifully.  If I had it to do over again I would still use Golden West.  They did a fabulous job.

    Window Fashion Pros
THE SALES PERSON ARRIVED. DID NOT BRING HUNTER DOUGLAS SAMPLES AND WAS INCAPABLE OF GIVING ME A BID ON THE HUNTER DOUGLAS PRODUCT THAT I WANTED. HE FIDDLED WITH HIS COMPUTER TRYING TO PRICE OUT SOMETHING FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND ONLY CAME UP WITH A BID ON SHADES. HE TOLD ME HE WOULD SEND ME A BID BUT THIS MORNING I GOT AN EMAIL TELLING ME IT WOULD BE CHEAPER IF I GOT SHADES THAT WERE NOT MOTORIZED. I DIDN'T NEED HIM TO TELL ME THAT. IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. HE WAS INEPT, RUDE AND WASTED MY TIME.

    KIM'S DRAPERY & BLINDS
I called Kim on 09/21/2013 and requested for a shutter quote for my Bay Window. She came, took the measurement and gave a quote. To be honest, I have called a few others companies and the price are very similar, I would say within $50 for a $900 quote. So, price is not an issue. However, I picked Kim because she is responsive, professional. I called her and she showed up a few hours after despite i am in Fountain Valley and she came from Tustin.
I was in a hurry because I will have a major event at my house on Nov 2nd. Her installers showed up twice during the process to make sure the measurement is correct (This window is fairly tough to do). Then on 10/18/2013, the shutter was installed,
perfectly and professionally. My wife was so happy and decide to stay in the living room most of the times just to look at the new shutter window.
I am not hesitated to recommend Kim for her dedication, professionalism, responsiveness and promptness.....and lastly the incredible price.
