All of the work at the home went perfect and without delays.  The contractor and workers showed up when they said they would and cleaned up after they were finished which to me is very  important.  We knew there was a lot of damage to the home however we did not know how much until we actually walked around looking at the damage.  The house was built in the 60's and had not had any upgrades or any work like this done before so going into it we knew it would be a lot of work but thought it would be more costly and take more time.  We were very happy with the work.  Some of the damage was not visible to the eye but if you took a screwdriver it would just go right in.  Since dryrot spreads there was no sense in waiting so we went ahead and hired MPM to do the job.
This was not our first time using the services of MPM.  I first contacted them after they were recommended to me when we were thinking about having a patio cover added to another home we own in the same city.  I made calls and got estimates, however it was a little time consuiming because there was one company that didn't show up and another that kept rescheduling for one reason or another.  We decided to go with MPN because he was very personable, honest and up front,  was there on time, and provided a very reasonable estimate.   He actually helped us design the cover because this was new to us and my husband and I were not qutie in agrement as to whether it should be an open cover or a closed cover with lighting.  Bryan of MPM helped us out, we compromised and the patio cover tured out beautiful.  We love having the beautiful outdoor living space and are looking forward to the warm weather when we can spend even more time outside enjoying it.

If I ever need work done again, I?m coming to Supreme Remodeling! They are professional, clean, and they get the job done quickly and professionally. When I called, their staff was incredibly helpful, they answered all my questions, and they were super friendly (the way a company should be ran). Then, when the crew showed up, they were a very organized team. They made sure to clean up after themselves, and they worked quickly to have the remodeling done in record time.
As for my new kitchen, the new cabinets and countertops are absolutely wonderful, and they go so well with the rest of my kitchen! I am a very happy customer!

I really appreciated mikes attention to detail. He made sure to make sure my concerns were addressed and the service I requested and purchased were delivered and provided on time and on budget. They showed up just early enough to be on time and respected my time and needs. I'd highly recommend his company. I've hired him for other work already.

Cory Stretz is a quality mason. He has done work at my home and business. He installed my block wall for my business and it it beautiful. I left it up to him for block type and he hand picked the best brick for my property.
He also installed a beautiful granite fireplace in my home. Cory really has an eye for detail when it comes to masonry.

So Cal Builders & Design is a general contracting company who specialize in stucco, trim, hardwood floors, tiles, kitchens...quite frankly anything that one desires when upgrading their homes.
The most important and relevant information in my opinion is that they are open, honest and fair.
Reggie is an extremely likable guy who not only completes the work in a timely manner but his customers don't have the worry of getting ripped off from a financial or quality perspective. It's hard to find reliable contractors these days who don't cut corners, and go above and beyond for their customers to be happy. I would highly recommend So Cal Builders & Design.

We initially had some difficulties with scheduling.  I think Seacliff is a busy company that has their guys on lots of different sites at the same time.  Their work is good and the price is very good.

Troy and his workers stayed on the job until it was done.  They were easy to talk to and aimed to please.  There was one time I did not like what had been done.  They were happy to re-do it to my specifications.

i have to state that since someone had already messed up this job before Steve Letwinch got to have a go at ,it I was in the mode of watching everything like a hawk.  Two days after the start of the job I found that I could relax--the job site was left clean and swept at the end of each day.  The workers arrived on time everyday and worked at a good pace--I was probably a bit of a painby always "just looking in"  to watch what and how they were doing things.  Boy, what a difference from the other contractor.  Each worker knew what he was doing and they were actually working.  The jobs were tackeled concurrently - mainly the kitchen and the bath .  The third area was installation of the floor part of a deck.  There was some music ,but, it was at an acceptable volume and I noticed when Mr. Letwinch would leave the site for a reason he always spoke to one or two of his workers (I imagine they were his second in command) and reviewed with them what he wanted done, how he wanted it done and when he would be back.  Upon his return I noted that he inspected the work that had been completed in his absence and made sure it was to his standards.  At one point he was not satisfied with the mudding of the drywall and just made the worker redo the wall. He was just as pickey with the painters.  I felt I could relax because he seemed to as picky and detailed oriented as I am.
The job was actually finished 1 day before it was promised-- that is something I have never experienced before -- and the final product was great.  I noticed that he was double checking valves, plumbing and lighting the day he was finishing.  We did a walk through-- there were no problems.
Seven or eight days later he called me --he had started another job in Mission Viejo and was going to be passing close by my house and wanted to know if he could stop by.  Since I was home and not busy I consented.  He just wanted to make sure in person that I was happy with the job and wanted to know if I had found anything that wasn't to my satisfaction -- I couldn't believe it!   We walked through the kitchen and bath as we chatted  giving me plenty of time to remember if there was any little thing that wasn't to my liking.  As he was leaving he told me he gets most of his work through referrals.  I can understand--I certainly do not hesitate to recommend his work and him when I hear someone is considering doing a small remodel or a whole second story. Also this knows his way around the permit process-- I was very impressed with his interaction with one of the code inspectors that came out to sign off on the job. In talking to the man he does jobs from $5k  to $500K  He can build a spect house or take care of fire damage or do a small deck.  He evidently also gets houses ready for market.  I would use him in the future as he was willing to discuss my problems, what I wanted out of the project and he came up with some great ideas that saved me a little money along the way.

We had been considering an exterior renovation for some time. Our mid 1970's wood siding was looking weathered and our old aluminum windows were difficult to open and close and not very energy efficient. We were also thinking about enclosing a 2nd story deck off the master bedroom. Rather than splitting these into separate jobs with 2 or 3 specialty contractors we wanted to find a company capable of doing it all. After reviewing Angie's List we found Horizon Construction & Remodeling in Orange, CA. They had a lot of recent positive reviews covering a broad range of different projects. We spoke by phone with Enna Eskin, Horizon's office mgr, who spent quite a bit of time getting an understanding of what we wanted done. Shortly thereafter, we met with company owner Mark Besnos and discussed options. Mark was very informative and offered a lot of design advice in addition to his contracting know-how. At a 2nd meeting we reviewed Horizons quote and agreed on the scope of work and price. This was presented in a very professional written format. We did decide to exclude the 2nd story deck enclosure. Horizon had a crew ready to work 3 business days later. They removed the old siding and unfortunately did not find any plywood sheathing underneath. This, with a couple other things became Change Order No. 1. We eventually had a few more change orders for changes we requested or Horizon suggested but Horizon was able to stay within their original schedule of 4 weeks even with a few lost days due to weather. The crew was always at work early, every day. They were pleasant to be around. They were eager to make sure everything was done correctly and to our expectations. They did a pretty good job of managing the debris and cleaned up everyday. You could tell these guys took pride in their work. They spent 10 minutes on their final day taking pictures of themselves in front of the house. Window installation day came as a little surprise, about a 15 minute warning. It was a surprise because Enna was always checking in to see if things were going well and to let us know what the next stage of work was going to be. We would have preferred a little more advance notice and Enna apologized for that, but in hindsight, it was just as well we didn't know. They came, they installed and they were out in one day. No worries. We want to point out that we were so comfortable with Mark's soft-sell presentation, the Angie's List referrals, our gut feel, and the competence we perceived from Horizon that we accepted their proposal without any competitive bids! Could we have gotten better pricing? Possibly. But the fact that the house now looks great and the whole process was virtually stress-free made it well worth it. And while the cost turned out to be a little more than we'd planned to spend we feel we received a good value from Horizon. We'd recommend Horizon and would use them for any future work we need done.

This was a major remodel of a two-story house. Everything went as planned. Mr. Collins and his subcontractors worked around us so we were able to live in a small corner of our house as they demolished and rebuilt the rest of it. Their work was excellent, they started on time, they completed the job by the scheduled date. Mr. Collins worked closely with my wife to make sure she got exactly what she wanted. His estimate was very reasonable and there were no surprises, and no extra costs except when my wife asked for something that was not in the original estimate. All of the subcontractors who worked for Mr. Collins did first rate work and were very professional. This was the second time we hired Mr. Collins for remodel work. We are very happy with both jobs and would recommend him to anyone.
