    I had a slow leak in a tire (not purchased from America's Tire) stopped in at the store with no appointment, they saw me in about 15 minutes, repaired the tire and balanced it for no charge, just asked that when it was time for new tires I would at least check with them.

    The price included the tires and all the stuff they have to do to put them on. They are always able to accommodate if you just kind of walk in. They are usually able to take care of you right then so what stands out is the service, more or less.

    He's a very nice gentleman, he's been there for years, has great confidence and the sales people were very nice. They had it done just within a couple of hours so they called to let us know that it was all done. I thought the pricing was very well. Depending on what you are buying and the quality of the tires, I'd say that he was fair on his pricing. I thought they did an excellent job of fixing my car.

    Paul the owner is just a plain nice guy, he did not try to oversell me on tires or any further work on my car. When I got my car back he said that it was in top shape. A few days later I received a call from them, they had over charged me $8.00. They were very apologetic, would have the cash for my at the front desk. I will continue to have my vehicles serviced at Fountain Valley Tires. Nice to do business in the town I live, and get SERVICE with a smile!

    ALLEN TIRE COMPANY
    I have used Allen Tires several times over the years for purchasing and installing auto and trailer tires as well as car alignment. I will not use this Allen Tire (2401 N Tustin Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705) again because I do not feel they handled my last service well. In summary, they did not provide the service I requested and worse, they did not provide the service they told me they performed - they were dishonest to me.
    Here is my story:
     - Summer 2011: Purchased new tires, mounted and balanced. Also had alignment adjusted.
     - Sept 2012: I personally rotated the tires at home. After driving the car, it became obvious one of the front wheel was not balanced correctly.
     - 1 week later: Allen offers free rotation and balancing for the life of the tires. They tell me they took the wheels off, and the balance checked out good on all 4 wheels. Suggested maybe the wheel was not centered correctly or the rim may be bent and to drive it more to see if it is OK. As I drove the car home, I still felt the steering wheel shaking :(
     - 1 more week: After driving the car for a week, I was convinced there was no change from before; The tires are out of balance. I requested Allen Tire to re-balance just the front wheels. When I received the car back, I specifically asked them if they removed the existing weights when they re-balanced this time. They confirmed to me that the weights had been removed and the wheels rebalanced.
     - a couple more days... There was still no change in the the shaking in the steering wheel; the tires were still out of balance and the shaking was exactly the same. I am most certain the tires were not rebalanced. I asked if they had time to help me during lunch today if I came in... time was important to me since I was about to leave on a long drive out of state. When I arrived, they asked if I could wait for 2 hours. I said no. they said sorry, they could not help me.
    The next week, I went to a GoodYear station close to my work. For $25, they re-balanced the 2 front wheels and the car drives perfectly now; no shaking. Also, I noticed one of the rear wheel plastic lug nut covers on my custom rims was broken, and it was held on by a jerry-rigged bolt with fender washer. Since no other service provider has seen my car during this period, and GoodYear only removed the front wheels (I asked them specifically if they removed the rear wheels, and they said no, they only checked air pressure since that is their policy), I conclude Allen Tire broke this cover and did not report this too me, during one of the 2 visits where to re-balance the wheels.

    I called America's tire company for a quote on four new tires for my Honda. They gave me a price and told me about the tires. Then I called around and found a better price and a better tire elsewhere. When I called America's tire to cancel my appointment, they told me about a better tire and a better price and beat the other company. I went to America's Tire Company and the service was excellent. The tires are also doing terrific so I am a happy camper. Yes, I would definitely get my tires there again.

    Excellent Service! Personal attention to detail. I feel like part of the family. I received phone calls to discuss various options. I have used Sunrise exclusively for my vehicles for the last 20 years. Every thing from a VW, Honda, Toyota, Mercedes, Dodge, Oldsmobile, Ford to custom hotrods. These guys are great. I would definitely continue to use them and feel comfortable recommending them to my closest friends, even my mother and mother-in-law.

    Overall, I had a positive experience with Big-O in Tustin.  

    Here are the positives:

    1) They have great prices on tires and will match the price of other stores.  They also tell you the total cost on the phone before you come in and my experience is they hold to that price unless there is an unusual circumstance like my ball joint problem above which was not within their control.

    2) Adrian, the manager, is very professional.  She is helpful, courteous and friendly.  When there was a problem, she was not defensive but willing to talk it over and find a fair solution.  She handled the unexpected ball joint problem as well as the follow up repair very well.  In my experience, it is when something goes wrong that reveals the honesty and professionalism of the business.  Not once did I have to press Adrian or Big-O for fair treatment.  This was partially because we were reasonable in our requests but also because Adrian and Big-O were committed to fixing the problem.

    Here are the negatives:

    1) They often run behind.  Several times they told us our car was going to be ready at a certain hour and it took 2 to 4 hours longer.  Part of this was that we were there at a very busy time (day after Thanksgiving) and part was that the failure of our car on the alignment rack set them back on their schedule; however, I have been going to this store for quite some time and they are frequently behind.  I put up with this by just factoring in more time then they tell me and following up with them before I come back to pick up the car.

    They do all types of tire service, I believe they can change oil as well. They seem quite good. That is why I go to them. I think the prices for tires are as good as anyone else. I think the quality of work is good. The tires last. They are always very courteous when I come in.
