    Bauman, Dr. Patricia M
On my way home, they said if I could get there right away, they would take me. It was 10 min. until the office was supposed to close. Dr. Bauman stayed until after 5 with me. From the time I walked in, I was being seen by the doctor within 2 min. She was very concerned and got me a prescription. Everything went great.

    Oppenheim, Dr. Alfred D.
I've been seeing him for years. He is very professional and personable. I consider him to be very highly qualified and I'm quite impressed with his medical knowledge and professionalism. I can go in on short notice and if he's not there, someone else in the office will see me almost always on the same day. The office environment is very nice and I don't ever have to wait more than 2 minutes after my appointment time. He listens to what I say, explains things, asks questions, and encourages me to ask questions. I don't get a sense of being rushed out of there at all.

    Taylor, Dr. James D.
He is good and he takes time.  He analyzes the problems and looks for information other than the normal medicine. My overall experience with him has been very good. He is very available and I am on a special plan. His office environment is nice and his punctuality is good too.  He has very good staff, his bedside manner is great and I don’t have a problem.  His communication is very good and he tries to get to the bottom of the issue.  He is good and he knows his stuff. His billing is like any doctor which is prompt.  I have been using his practice for a long time and I would continue.

He has a pleasant manner and he seems to know about what he is doing. He has spent two and a half years in the Army Medical Service. He is very good and I would say that he is a good doctor because I found that like any other profession some just get by. His punctuality is as most doctors.

    Kaiser Permanente Medical Center
I have got an ongoing relationship with them. My last session was last night for internal medicine type of work. They changed their rules. They have made it much more difficult for my company to stay insured with them so I ended up having to drop a lot of people and basically dissolve my company. I will be staying on as an individual along with a couple of other employees but basically it is cost prohibitive right now. All the costs for medical care have gone up with them. They are above average, but you need to know how to work the system to get the best out of them. The majority of the doctors are very good. I continue with them because they are in my neighborhood and they are available. My wife's had more experience with them and she is the one that negotiates with the contracts. I have been a member of Kaiser for a long time except our group coverage just ended. We were self-employed and we no longer have this plan through our office, so I had to reapply and they denied me because I am taking some medications. I am 63 years old and I am very healthy but I do take a couple of medications. Right now I am not very happy with them and I will have to go to an extremely expensive insurance. For 40 years I have been paying premiums to Kaiser and now they have denied coverage unless I want to pay them $800.00 a month. I don't like them right now. I have got a year and a half before Medicare kicks in. I really feel betrayed because I have paid these premiums for 40 years while uninsured people are getting freebies at the emergency room. I hate them. The doctors I have had I have been very happy with. The doctors have been good. I have had four children there and their care has been good. It's not a private hospital. I was extremely satisfied with all their care and over the years they have gotten better. The waits used to be much longer and it used to be much more difficult to get an appointment. You had to wait months. Now they are much more approachable. If you really need to see a doctor, you can get in there instead of having to wait a long time. But it's bureaucratic. It's huge and you still have to go through the channels. It's ridiculous that they denied me considering everything I have done with them. We were the employers, but now we have retired so that terminated our coverage. I applied as an individual and they denied me. I can apply for a much more expensive plan which is $800.00 a month rather than $500.00 which is what it would have been otherwise. It would have been high because my age bracket is pretty high, but at least it would have been reasonable. They are more available than they used to be but it's still a system that you have to work your way through. They still keep you waiting a lot, but not as much. It's just a less of a hassle now. The doctors are nicer than some of the people behind the desk. I have had really good experiences with my doctors. My daughter has a condition that they messed around with. She has a recurring staph infection and they have just not made the effort to try to take care of it. It breaks out around her nose. It's almost like a cold sore. She has gone in a million times and she gets pushed around from one doctor to another and they have never really cured it nor do they seem to be interested in curing it. The bills are very confusing. If you have a deductible or a co-pay which I do, they send me statements that are impossible to figure out. Two years ago I was called to be on one of the discussion groups where they pay you $100.00 to sit there for two hours and they ask questions about any products. This was about Kaiser's billing. Every single person there was complaining about how awful it is because they don't understand the bills. They had the group in an effort to try to improve it but it hasn't been improved. I am planning to use them. I will be on Medicare soon so if I have to pay out the $800.00 a month I am going to have to do that.

Kaiser is an HMO where there are a number of doctors. I have been with them for many years now since I am satisfied with them. It took a while to figure the system of the HMO, but they have become a lot better over the years in terms of waiting time and being able to talk to someone over the phone in order to get advice. There have been a lot improvements and I am going to continue with them. If some people want their own special doctors, then they are not necessarily going to get it over there. We can request for a general practitioner, but they dont accept another person if they can handle the patients on the list and that has happened to me. There are times when I got frustrated because of some issues but for the most part I have been very satisfied. My children were born there and the maternity services were excellent. We didnt get any extras that you might get in all the private hospitals where you need to pay a lot more. However, we did have excellent doctors and that is what was important to me. I would use their services in the future too.

I think he is atrocious. I believe he was sexually harassing his female employees in my presence because he would flirt with them and give them more physical contact than is appropriate for a doctor, especially in the presence of a patient. I think that he will do pretty much all that you want but he won?t give you his professional opinion; he acts like he?s too busy to discuss things with you. My wife and I both used him for primary care and at least three times he prescribed a medication to her while she was pregnant that could have damaged the baby; we found out that she shouldn?t take the medication from the pharmacist. We have a happy and healthy daughter but if our pharmacist hadn?t been as vigilant, things may have been different.

    Issac, Dr. Rimon
He's great! I like him so far. He takes time with me and gives an hour for the appointment. Has done accupuncture as well as cranial osteopathic methods of treatment, like a deep massage. Office is lovely, peaceful, pleasant, and not like a typical doctor's office. No waiting either!

    Bauman, Dr. Patricia M
Dr. Bauman is very thorough and easy to talk with during my appointments. She seems to be open to alternative medicines and treatments. I had a problem once and she gave me an herbal suggestion, which ended up working out wonderfully. It is very easy to call in and set up an appointment. The staff and nurses in Dr. Bauman's office are very nice and cordial. They are all efficient and work to make things not complicated and easy to understand. I know that she works to make herself available to her patients. I had an experience with Dr. Bauman when I needed some immediate help and she was willing to talk with me right away. There is a nice environment in her office. It is not a very big office, but she has it nicely decorated. I like that she brings me right into her personal office space.

He is wonderful. He spends plenty of time with his patients. He will spend an hour with a patient if it's needed just to help meet all of our needs. He is compassionate and sensitive to my different restraints in my work and he addresses those during each visit. He has a great bedside manner and I am really pleased with his services. I wouldn't be without him - he's my lifeline.
