    Dogs Love Walks
Our family has used Sam's services in the past and can't say enough good things about his choice of Team member and the great care they gave our beloved boys, Lucky, Chance and Tucker when we had to go out of town. We got daily pics, videos and updates and the boys loved the Team Member. :) Thank you Sam, and best wishes in your new endeavor. James Jimenez and Remi Cohn

I like that I can have pet insurance. I pay $25 a month and she gets 2 check ups a year and she gets all of her shots. She has preventative care twice a year. It is a wellness plan. They are very professional. When they could not get my dog in they referred me to another one that could.

Live Love Pet Care: Dog Walking & Pet Sitting
I was updated via a portal each time the care giver visited my boys with a description of what services were performed and a multitude of pictures of the boys as happy as can be. As far as I'm concerned, Everything went A+. I'm not going to fill out the "cost" Portion because there are varying costs for varying services, BUT, I've seen them and it's likely the best money spent for the health, comfort and safety of your pets. The cost I was quoted for what I needed, was the best I've seen during my search and considered more than generous and fair.

My dog goes for grooming every six weeks.  We use their grooming services and they always seem, they're really good with us, with that.  That's why we always go there.  Their price seems competitive with any other place that we've looked into.  We always go back.

We've used them for years. Every pet we've ever had has gone there for something or the other. The price is about average, it's not any more expensive than anybody else. But, not the cheapest place either. In they would go down on their price I would probably give them an 'A' They're very vocal. You go in and you haven't set an appointment then they take you as soon as they can. I use them all the time, they're our family vet. They've done vaccinations and checkups. I have had to take other animals up there with real problems. I had two dogs die on the table, but that was not the vet's fault. They were very ill before they went in, which was kind of shocking. I know they're there in case of an emergency.

We've been going to this boarding and daycare to take care of our dogs since February of 2014.  At first things were fine then over the months we noticed by watching the web cam of the dog play area that things weren't as they seemed.  We want our dogs to be out in the play area with the other dogs playing and socializing.  We began to notice that our dog would disappear for hours at a time.  We would call and be given various reasons why they were locked up.  I spoke to a number of people about our concerns and was told they would take care of it.  Then we left our dogs for an overnight stay.  Dropped them off at eleven in the morning and we didn't see them on the floor until after one o'clock.  We kept checking and they disappeared before four o'clock.  We called and they told us they were having an October Fest and they put the dogs in their cages so they wouldn't get frightened. Then when I got up the next morning to go get our dogs I check on our dogs and neither one was in the play area.  I drove out there and arrive at nice thirty and they still were in their cages. If you are looking for a place the allows your dogs to play and socialize with other dogs for extended periods of time this may not be the place to take your dogs.  We won't be going back to this place ever again!!

My dog attacked my sisters dog and tore his lower eyelid. We took him to be seen immediately, without an appointment. They too him back as soon as we got there and Dr. Lorenzen came in to the exam room to speak with us in less than 5 minutes. She told us our options and what her opinion was and even offered to treat my dog for his anxiety. She was even able to get my dog in later that afternoon to get him started on anxiety meds. Everyone there is friendly and they really take the time to listen. We used to see Dr. Reikes, but she has left and I am beyond happy with Dr. Lorenzen. She even called 2 days later to check on both dogs.

    Bark Bark Day Care

BarkBark also offers grooming, overnight stays, walking service, and training .  These are services I haven't used.    I appreciate BarkBark staff's professionalism and friendliness, the facility is clean, and they offer a half day rate which gives a nice discount for visits 6 hours and under per day. The half day rate is unusual since other day cares I use have a flat daily rate no matter how little or long the dog stays.  They always have a nice ratio of staff to dogs in the day care area and a dedicated receptionist to handle front customer service.  This means that care staff are not pulled away from the dogs to handle front office tasks.  Another plus is that they are open until 7pm.  Late enough to make pick up a breeze after work.

Let this review serve as a warning to every pet owner to know your Veterinarians belief about preventive antibiotics. What you dont know is that there is a division of belief about preventive antibiotics in Veterinary Science.

My cat was given a physical by Dr. Annette Le Pere and I was told that other than a bad tooth and a mild to moderate white blood count; Chloe was good to go. Days later, Dr. Le Pere called and told me to have a re-check of the white blood count level when she went for her Vet Specialist visit.

I inquired further about what course to take about the white blood count level. Dr. Le Pere explained that she could give an antibiotic, but; she has decided not to because she was not alarmed about WBC level. She also didnt have a specific infection to treat with the antibiotic, so felt no need. Again, Dr. Le Pere told me to just get a re-check of the WBC level.

Chloe was dead 20 days later.

Dr. Annette Le Pere is backward thinking, incompetent and cowardly.

    Backwards Thinking and Incompetence:

Chloes heart was not the best and she also had a bad tooth that no Vet Dentist would pull, I did try. Chloe was under treatment by a Specialist for her heart, visiting each year.

The Specialist wanted to see her sooner and didnt want to go without a visit for a year, but after her physical; I thought we had time. I made a lot of changes; she had lost weight; got her daily heart meds; more exercise and a good mixed diet. In addition; her next appointment to Specialist was way less than a year from the last.

The Specialists and the Dentists all had agreed that the tooth should just fall out naturally. Even though, I am not a Vet; after Chloes death I figured out that this tooth was probably the source of infection. You would think that Dr. Le Pere would have figured this out too, but much earlier. Moreover, Chloes records showed that infection couldnt be ruled out. The Vet that conducted the tests was Dr. Le Pere.

Always ask for your pets records if you suspect something.

Why not give a preventive antibiotic? If an older person has heart disease, risk of infection; doctors usually give an antibiotic. Chloe was about 9 .5 years old. It is a fact that infected teeth cause infections. The antibiotic certainly wouldnt have hurt Chloe. This is not only my opinion. The Veterinarians that tried to save Chloe and a friend that is a big animal Veterinarian all told me that they would have given an antibiotic. We are talking at least 3 other Vets.

In addition, up until 2 days before she died, Chloe was doing great. She was fine on Sunday and dead on Tuesday. Chloe was sneezing some Monday, but I didnt think it was serious. Now I know that fluid was accumulating inside of her chest.

If you cat starts sneezing suddenly for more than a few hours, take it to Emergency and dont wait a day.

Whatever was in Chloe, it killed her fast, less than 48 hours after what I know now to be clear symptoms of something really wrong. For this reason, I truly believe in Dr. Le Peres incompetence. Twenty days prior Chloe could have had a preventive antibiotic.

I feel that I must justify exactly why I am so upset. CHOICE, a Vet should always give you a choice if they dont know. Afterwards, Dr. Le Pere stated that she didnt see this coming, oh yeah Sherlock; my cat died. Most pet owners dont know that they should ask what a Veterinarians beliefs are about preventive antibiotics or insist on an antibiotic.

    Cowardice:

About 2 weeks after Chloe died, I sent Dr. Le Pere a letter with her picture. I told her that I wouldnt be seeking legal action, that I know her to be a good person, that she loved animals and didnt mean to do Chloe harm.

There was a path to my closure and I wanted the following:

Number one, is that when she looked at Chloes picture that she remember her and just maybe; change her mind the next time the antibiotic choice comes up for another cat.

Number two, an apology, she could write or call me, but; I needed to hear that she could have possibly been dead wrong in Chloes case and should have given me the choice of the antibiotic.

Number three, that she confers with people that she trust and respect, but have a different opinion than her about antibiotics.

To date, I have heard nothing from Dr. Le Pere. I realize that she does not have to do a thing, but in my eyes it makes her a coward.

Chloe might just be sitting on my lap instead of on the fireplace mantle. The same thing happened to my clients dog thats eleven. The difference is the dog made it after the owner insisted on the antibiotic.

If these symptoms occur take you cat to the Vet:

#1 Mild to Moderate White Blood Count level Change

#2 Sneezing for more than 6 hours

    #3 Distressed Breathing

    Canine Retreat
I am so pleased with Canine Retreat, the owner Jeff and his staff really care about the dogs and there welfare, I always feel secure about leaving my Mini Australian Shepherd there knowing that she is in the best of hands possible.  The facility is always clean and very well maintained.  I love the fact that they interact with the dogs such as playtime, hugs and cuddles.  My Annie can't wait to get in the door when we go there and I have to say that my dog does not like it when I leave her places, except at Canine Retreat!
