    NorthStar Moving & Storage
The move went spectacularly well. NorthStar coordinated extensively with us by phone and email through multiple changes of the move date (due to our problems not theirs) with total curtesy and professionalism. The packing crew showed up on time and was friendly, professional, efficient, and respectful of us and our goods. We have moved a number of times and this was best moving crew we have ever had. The goods were delivered exactly on schedule to our new home and arrived in near perfect condition. We had absolutely minimal damage to our goods, by far the least damage to our household goods of any move we have made. Post-move Northstar was responsive and settled the minimal claims quickly and to our satisfaction.

Chris came with two other men. Asked to move all the bid furniture. The move was only 8 houses down the road. Declined insurance because of the short trip. Kept asking for them to move the big stuff. They instead moved mainly the smaller items. The third hour in they did not move any of the furniture, had to buy an additional hour and still didn't get all furniture moved. Bought mattress covers and tape just for the move and they did not use the covers. I put them on all the beds, Chris said they kept coming off so they didn't use them. My mattress got all dirty. They kept taking breaks when I was not around. Told them they could have water, instead drank my ?son's Gatorade. They left trash all over. Couldn't get the screws out of her son's bed, had to call my ex husband to come over to take it apart, the movers did not have the proper tools. Kept forgetting to put on shoe covers, I even provided them for them. The carpet in my new home are all dirty now. Failed to put my china hutch together and almost tipped over. Had to pay another moving company to finish moving the furniture. They wasted a lot of time.

    Chris' Moving Men Inc
From the time I called to schedule the move to the time of the actual move, Chris' Moving Men were very professional and easy to deal with.  My son and I moved a lot of the smaller items the weeks prior but I needed movers for the remaining big, heavy items but didn't want to hire a "big chain" moving company so I turned to Angie's List and found Chris' Moving Men.  The cost was very reasonable for the amount of items and there was no fluff added in the end.  The two movers, Jerry and Gabriel, communicated their arrival and were on time and ready.  They were also very nice and courteous.  I wanted the items protected but not overly wrapped since I was just moving a few buildings away so Jerry sensed that and therefore had Gabriel only wrap the delicate items and just pad the others which made for a quicker move. Jerry and Gabriel made the move upstairs look easy because they worked well together coordinating the items and working very efficiently.  Overall, a good experience from a reputable company; I would definitely use and recommend them!

    Chris' Moving Men Inc
This was a great move.  The 3 men sent to us - Ruben, Ben and Artis were great.  They moved everything we needed without any damage and even came in under the estimate.  They really moved with efficiency and no lag time.  It was not an easy move because of the stairs involved.  They were also very nice and I felt like we were lucky to have such a nice crew helping us.  I would definitely use this company again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

    NorthStar Moving Co
We had a very complicated move; preparing for it took five exhausting, nerve-wracking months.  However, the move itself went PERFECTLY.  I can't emphasize enough how helpful, polite, productive, cooperative and professional the workers were on moving day, as well as the office personnel I was in contact with several times as I planned and finalized the arrangements.
We cleared an old house, and renovated it from top to bottom, storing many of the contents.  On moving day, we started where we were living at that time, and our destination was the ?new? house.  We combined the two households, downsizing from 2000 square feet of living space and three packed garages to a total of 800 square feet and one garage.  In addition to moving dozens of boxes, plus appliances and household items, we had to coordinate the integration and donation of furniture.
I chose Northstar Moving based on their good reviews, and the very reasonable price they quoted.  What sealed the deal for me was their offer to transport and donate items to the Chatsworth Habitat for Humanity Restore store.  I knew we?d have to be very selective about what furniture we?d keep for the small house, and we?d have a lot of quality pieces available for donation.
I had written out a plan of what furniture to move where, to be as efficient and organized as possible, and the movers worked with me step by step.  We moved our household furniture to the destination, and then the shuffling began!  Luckily the small house has a long driveway, which we used as a staging area.  We had to move furniture out of the house, in and out of the garage, and into the house; all the while separating the 22 pieces of furniture from both sites to be reloaded on the truck for donation.
Even as I made changes to the list ? ?no, that can go too? and ?no, I want to keep that? ? the movers were patient and helpful.  They worked straight through, never lagging; and despite all the work to be done, we only went half an hour over the four hours planned.  Not only would I say, ?there were no problems,? I would highly recommend Northstar Moving for your moving needs!

    Walsh Moving & Storage
They were okay. The service was neutral. The move was okay, there was a slight damage to my desk, when they moved, and the damage was not that great, so I decided to leave it to that. The pricing was average. I had looked at other companies, and they were on the same price range.

    Excalibur Van Lines, LLC
I actually ended up having to move out of my place at the last minute, and Excalibur very much so accommodated me. They're a very popular moving company and I knew they had to be booked up; but they found a way to fit me in anyways; which was awesome! Two well dressed and professional men met me at my house on time; on the day I scheduled to move. They both carried all my furniture and boxes to the truck; they didn't even allow me to help; no problem there. The best part they handled all my possessions gently and with care; which I highly appreciated. When we got to my place they handled everything the same way. I was a very picky person and indecisive about where I wanted things to go; and although they had been working since 7 in the morning they still kept their cool and professionalism. If I were to move again; I would definitely hire them again.

    NorthStar Moving Company
I had a three man crew, with Thomas as lead man. They were prompt in their arrival, went to work right away. Very fast, efficient and thorough. They took extra care of my breakables. I would request this crew again. NorthStar Moving is very reliable company. Spoke with Lynn Ben-Shimon who made the arrangements.

    NorthStar Moving Co
I lived on the third floor. My couch wouldn't fit in the elevator so they rigged it to go over the balcony, delivering it to the ground level without a single scratch. They took my bed apart and reassembled it perfectly. They paid attention to any special requests I had, they even helped me to decide how to arrange the furniture at my new place.
