It was outstanding. I have never been to a better urgent care center, especially for kids. You can call ahead to make an appointment for children. You can also check online for current wait times. The standard procedures for exams are very thorough. I asked the Dr. if she had seen much of my child's type of illness that week. I asked what to expect...symptoms, timetable, when to return to school...and what warning signs to look for that would make us want to be in touch with her again. Our particular doctor gave a great tip for getting swabbed for strep. She told my son to say "aaah" really loudly during the test. Apparently, this helps the doctor get more room to swab the area and it overcomes the patient's gag reflex. It worked for my boy. :)

They have an outstanding urgent care. I liked their follow through, they checked up on people. It is very well run, and they get you in. You don't have to wait 3 hours in the lobby to get you in.

I went to the urgent care clinic at 5 on a Friday night and was seen by a doctor within 45 min. He was very skilled at suturing my hand. I returned two weeks later and was seen by a nurse with no wait and had the stitches removed.

We have been using them for years. They are terrific, I would recommend them to anyone. The office environment and the staff is terrific.

The drop-in part has great hours and is usually staffed really well. They have always just given me very high quality care for serious and for minor things. They are very good at diagnosing. I have used them for years and I've been very happy with everything. I don't think you can find higher quality care anywhere.

An adult relative had kidney stones in 12/2012. I had them April 2010. We both went to PAMF Urgent Care in Palo Alto. We were each triaged quickly based on our level of pain. They provided effective pain relief and xrays without undue delay as well as prescriptions for additional meds. Follow-up with Urology several days later was efficient and helpful. I also went there for a stiff neck after an accident April 2011. It was triaged quickly. I had a longer wait because it was not as urgent as my previous visit. The dr asked a lot of questions about the nature of the pain and had a handout for exercises I could do. They gave me a prescription for pain meds and treated me respectfully. I would MUCH rather go there than a local emergency room when my doctor's office is closed or it's urgent but not life threatening. Their extended hours allow that flexibility. The waiting area is comfortable, bright, and large. Once you understand their triage system, you can really appreciate it. The most urgent cases get the fastest attention. Sore throats and stiff necks will be triaged as quickly as everything else, but you may have to wait an hour to actually get in for treatment if it's a really busy time. Their staff is generally helpful and friendly, but like anywhere else, when things get hectic, which you can expect on weekends and evenings, you might experience someone who's a little frayed around the edges, but it's definitely the exception and not the rule. I have also been diagnosed and treated by their cardiology staff. The necessary procedure was scheduled quickly at Stanford. His nurse provided the necessary information and his office checked for any insurance pre-qualification. The cardiologist was respectful and very responsive to questions. I give him and his staff high marks. My primary care doctor is generally very laid back and pleasant and is responsive to my requests. After asking the necessary questions, he has been helpful with referrals. He wasted no time when I reported more serious heart arrythmia symptoms. He had me seen by their tightly scheduled cardiologists very quickly. Sometimes I wish he was a little more proactive and intrusive. I had a bright red spot on my face for many months that he didn't notice in the 2 visits I had with him in the interim, but it was treated on the spot as pre-cancerous when I went to an outside dermatologist for something else. Bottom line: Exhibit good judgment and make reasonable requests, you get what you need. But you have to be proactive yourself. Excellent on-line patient information system. You can see your test results (in the case of blood tests, line-by-line detail), and email questions to your doctor. You can view bills and pay online. The best system I've seen among the doctors and hospitals I've experienced in the area.

The experience at Palo Alto has always been wonderful. The facilities are great, the Doctors and all of the service personnel are caring and know their jobs. We never have to deal with claims from them, they always take care of things properly: they know the codes, they know the system. I have recommended them to several people when they've needed doctors. We have our regular doctor, but I know if I ring the clinic to see anyone of the specialists, anyone I get will be good. They seem to be able to attract the best in the area.

It was just a wonderful experience and there were 3 different nurses that were exemplary. The ER was just incredible and they were incredibly supportive. I knew was really sick and was incredible pain, but they knocked the pain out of me immediately. When they sent me to med surg floor they were incredibly supportive which I wasn’t expecting. They were right on top of it and the whole experience was exceptional.

Dr. Bcci was one of the few available under the health plan taking a patient. There's not much of a choice as when you are trying to find a primary care physician as there are only a few people. That was how I heard about the doctor. The service has been fine, there's no complaint. I have been seeing the doctor for almost 7 years.
