AI highly recommend Salif as a life coach. In our work together focusing on life obstacles, he provided exceptional value in his ability to offer concrete tools, identify obstacles, and create a plan of action. My sessions with him helped to identify what was preventing me from reaching my goals and living the life I really wanted. He was very understanding and provided a supportive ear to gain the clarity for change.

FVitacost would not publish a non-medical review submitted. The review was revised according to their recommendations at least twice, but they still would not post it. This is a very important review on crystal deodorant which previously said it had only "natural mineral salts" but upon receiving said "postassium alum" which is potassium Aluminum sulfate! Aluminum has been linked to alzheimers, autism, and other diseases (not mentioned in the review because they do not allow this). Vitacost has not updated their website post on the actual ingredient in the crystal deodorant which we unknowingly used for many years. Vitacost is would not get back with me on publishing this vital review which could help many folks avoid toxic aluminum.

AALL IN ONE FITNESSIn my 50’s, my health began to deteriorate. My body no longer “bounced back” and I began to experience significant mobility issues due to hip pain. In desperation, I saw a chiropractor for two years which improved my hip pain and mobility, but I never was able to make that next step toward regular exercise. When I did try to exercise, I would reinjure myself. I sought a trainer at my health club but could not find the specialized rehabilitative help that I needed. Kaiser’s physical therapy was woefully inadequate. I even tried a personal trainer in my home with a lot of expense and minimal result. After witnessing my parents’ health issues in their elder years, I was determined to be as proactively healthy and fit as I could but was at a loss as to where to go for help. Through good fortune, I discovered All-In-One Fitness. I first met with the owner, Jasmine, for an in-depth interview and assessment of my needs. She paired me with two superbly skilled and experienced trainers, Janice and Holly, for my three trainings per week. After four short months my hip pain is gone, my mobility returned, and I have tools to take care of my hip without returning to a chiropractor. To say the training is personalized is an understatement. Each session is tailor made to what my body needs that day. Through the expert and attentive guidance of Janice and Holly, I’m learning to listen to my body’s needs and limits so that I avoid reinjury. I’m observing how my muscles are waking up and reconnecting with their full range of motion. I love the nuanced learning and enjoy the process of watching myself grow stronger and healthier in a safe way. I’m actually excited to go each day and am enjoying the workouts. All In One Fitness is truly a healing environment in every sense of the word. Jasmine and her team have created a one-of-a-kind model for rehabilitation and healthy aging for people in their 40s and above. It is a welcoming and compassionate environment where the trainers do their magic in assisting each client toward their health and fitness goals. All In One Fitness has allowed me to recover from a chronic injury and a vicious cycle of reinjury to begin to build a solid foundation of health. I cannot recommend All In One Fitness highly enough as a quality-of-lifesaver for anyone in their 40s and above looking for optimal health and fitness.- Susan E.

ASENNIN FOUNDATIONMy experience over the years was excellent, which is why I continued. Studying traditional Japanese arts isn't easy, and the teachers take what they're doing seriously, but the atmosphere isn't harsh or negative. Anyone willing to be equally serious can benefit from what's being presented.- Ann K.

AJVB Health & WellnessBefore working with Jim, I exercised occasionally, but never felt like I was getting anywhere. I mountain biked, played with the kids and ran with my dog, and generally considered myself in OK shape (albeit 15lbs heavier than I should be). My workout runs were typically 2-3 miles at top speed (around 7:30 pace, and my Heart Rate would max out around 180bpm). I didn?t enjoy these ?all out? runs, and would usually dread going out for my next run. I?m the type of person who likes to succeed at whatever I?m doing, so I?d exercise in ?bursts?. During a burst, I?d exercise frequently and would enjoy seeing my pace improve from 8:00/mile down to 7:17/mile (my personal best 2.5 miles). When I stopped seeing improvement (or got injured), exercise would drop down my priority list, I?d stop for a while and would pick it up again a few months later when I had time. In retrospect, my workout regime was unenjoyable and unsustainable. In March 2013 I weighed 187lbs and felt generally unhealthy and out of shape, so started running. I reached out to Jim and mentioned to him that I was running and he started asking questions. It quickly became clear to me that Jim knew a ton about how to train, and he offered to help coach me. On Jim?s advice, I started wearing a Garmin watch and HR monitor on my runs so he could track my workouts. After a few runs he evaluated my situation as: 1. I have a gifted heart rate (who knew?) so had good potential 2. I was running one type of workout (short+fast), and needed to: a. Slow down and get in more miles, and b. Do different types of workouts, each with its own specific purpose 3. Change my diet to get off my ?sugar cycle? and shift and my metabolism to become efficient at burning fat Jim said if I followed his program that I would accomplish things I wouldn?t think possible. I figured I?d give it a try. It turns out that following Jim?s recommendations were easy to do. In fact, switching to longer, slower runs made the whole running experience dramatically more enjoyable. I actually looked forward to going out on runs because I was didn?t suffer the way I used to. Jim also gave me some interesting podcasts and books on the topics of health and fitness; I?d listen to them while running on the trail and get more informed and motivated. I found it very motivating to have Jim monitoring my exercise. I?d send him a report after every workout including the Garmin file; he?d analyze it and give specific recommendations on what workout to do next, diet, recovery, sleep, injury prevention, etc. During this period (April 2013-July 2013) I got the exercise bug. I talked to Jim or emailed every day and was really enjoying it, but I was still running much slower than I used to; I probably averaged 9-10 minute mile pace and hadn?t done anything near my 7:17/mile record. I couldn?t see the results, but Jim constantly analyzed the heart rate, pace, elevation profile of my runs and assured me that I was getting much fitter. It turned out that he was right. He was Mr. Miyagi and I was the Karate Kid. I did a sprint triathlon with some colleagues from work in Aug-2013. Despite never having ridden a road bike and being a weak swimmer, my fitness allowed me to finish 3rd in my age group, and (to my surprise) I ran the 5k at 7:02/mile pace after having swum 750 meters and biked 12 miles. After this, I started seeing some amazing improvements: ? Aug 2013: Weight had dropped from 187lbs to 163lbs; resting heart rate had dropped from 70 to 48bpm ? Oct 2013: Olympic triathlon: 28th of 204 people. Ran 10k at 6:58/mile (after 0.9 mile swim + 24 mile bike) ? Feb 2014: Half marathon: 6:44/mile pace (finished top 5%) ? Mar 2014: Sprint triathlon: won age group. 11th of 194 people. Ran 6:27/mile pace (after swim + bike) ? April 2014: Olympic triathlon: Ran 6:48/mile pace (after 0.9 mile swim + 25 mile bike) ? May 2014: Trail Half Marathon (>2,000? of gain): 3rd overall out of 134 participants (1:44, 7:56 per mile pace) ? July 2014: Half Ironman (?70.3?): 76th of 2535. I even beat 5 pros. Qualified for 70.3 world champs in my first 70.3 ? Sep 2014: 70.3 World Championships: 902nd/2235. I raced well and enjoyed it (the competition was very fast) ? Nov 2014: Ironman Arizona. 10 hours 46 minutes. 170th of ~3000 (top 6%) despite injury issues. ? 2015 Season: 2 Ironmans, a 70.3, a sprint (won age group) and an Olympic (8th overall out of 608 athletes!) It has been really fun to improve this quickly. Jim?s transformation approach has made it enjoyable and sustainable. If I hadn?t worked with Jim, my March 2013 exercise burst would have ended a month later, I?d probably still weigh in the 180s, be doing bursts of exercise and my fitness goal would still be to break my 7:17/mile record. Instead, I?ve successfully and sustainably transformed my health and fitness. I set a goal in early 2014 to qualify for the 70.3 and Ironman world championships. A year ago, that goal would have seemed (1) unachievable and (2) completely insane. Now I?m half way there. I know it IS possible, and more importantly I?m enjoying the journey. I talk to Jim daily by email or on the phone. No matter how much faster/fitter I get, I find it immensely helpful to have Jim pore over the details of my workouts, provide feedback, prescribe new workouts, rest, sleep, injury advice, nutrition ideas, equipment, motivation and goal setting. My goals and exercise program will change, but my transformation is permanent. Jim?s approach made it possible.- Benjamin K.

AFaith In You Fitness LLCI interacted with Sabrina over the month of September' 2016 regarding my issue with weight gain and proper diet. I explained my case to Sabrina and she as a great listener and she asked me questions about my physical state and noted every detail. After all the information, she gave her opinion which I found to be very eye opening. I had to change my diet plan tremendously and after a month I have started noting changes having switched to lean meal plan. My workout was also a concern and she advised I should take the assistance of a professional trainer to help me with my workout and diet plan to suit my body. It has been absolutely informative and interactive session for me and Sabrina has been very professional and very engaging, she was much wanted to really find a solution that I would feel satisfying which I did. I have referred her name to another friend of mine and am sure she will be exceptionally helpful there as well.- Abhijaat S.

ABenessere in BalanceI have been overweight for about 10 years now and always thought it was a natural thing. That was until I met Manuela. She helped me make some healthy and sustainable changes in my diet. I increased my daily walking time and also started exercising again. I now notice that I have more energy than I had before and after 2 months of exercising I have lost 4 pounds. That might not seem like a lot but she takes a holistic approach to lifestyle changes. I did not have to completely change my eating habits over night but rather gradually started introducing healthier choices and exercises that are sustainable.- Larry V.

ATIBURON PHYSICAL THERAPY CENTERMy physical therapist over there is wonderful. He is very careful. He has his way of keeping his eyes on everybody that's in there. He never lets anything happen to anyone. He is very good with the physical fitness part and he is also very good at being gentle. He helps you through your fitness routine in a gentle way because most of the people will have something wrong. I have been going to Tiburon Physical Therapy Center for probably six years. I have been using them for both physical therapy and physical fitness training for six years now. My trainer is careful with the way he treats the people in there. He has quite a few elderly people. He is nice and considerate. He urges them to achieve what they can. Everybody is happy in there. It's really a nice place. He has really helped me to stay out of trouble with my back, neck and my knees. I have arthritis in my back, neck and knees. He has just got me back in shape. I have gone from being really crippled up to being normal. He is good. I would use his services in the future too. It's amazing. You will have less need to go to a medical doctor if your physical therapist is that good.- clay c.
