  • Firstly, I highly recommend Flux Construction. We recently used Flux to expend and renovate our entire house. We have been delighted with the entire process and the results. I feel that we worked with someone that really takes pride in the quality of the work they're doing. Their employees were always professional and courteous. They always kept us up to date on the progress of the job. They were very considerate and made sure everything was protected and covered during the Remodel. Renovation can be stressful- but having Flux as our contractors really helped alleviate the majority of our concerns and I will definitely be calling them for any future needs.

  • They were great! We were very pleased and impressed by thier work. They surpassed our expectations, and their quote was far less than the other quotes we received. They were friendly and on time, and we would definitely use them again.

  • Outstanding job. Tile is original 1920's vintage and is fragile and would have had to be replaced at some expense. Frank cut the tile without any damage and we will be able have him reinstall without replacing the tile.
I am very grateful we found a really qualified tile expert. He was referred by our plumber when we weren't able to get our usual contractor to respond. After we used him, I found his references on Angies List and was pleased to see others had same positive experience.
I HIGHLY recommend this business for tile work.

  • The bathroom remodel started on a Monday with a 3 week time line.  We had been without a master bathroom for a while (because of a previous terrible contractor). The master bathroom remodel was not just a straightforward demolish and rebuild because of some previous workmanship and downright bad work. Carlos had to rework some plumbing and electrical work. We started by picking tile Carlos helped with the tile design for our bathroom (floor, shower and around the bath) and made suggestions, which was wonderful because tile stores can be somewhat overwhelming. When tiles were not available he went out of his way to get what we wanted!! After some demolition and hot mop we were off and running with a daily procession of tilers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters and glass guys all of who were wonderful. Carlos has an attention to detail which I love. He does not just want a job done he wants it done to perfection and you to be happy!!! Carlos was at our home everyday not just for 30 minutes but for several hours checking on quality he is not one of those contractors who turns up for a couple of minutes and then you don't see him for a few days Carlos is hands on. We now have the most BEAUTIFUL master bathroom it took a little longer than we had thought but because we were so happy we asked Carlos to remodel our guest bathroom as well. Then in passing I asked if Carlos knew of anyone to put in wood flooring and of course he did!  So he organized that too along with crown molding. After 7 weeks of craziness we have a beautiful home with two remodeled bathrooms, wood floors throughout, crown molding throughout. My husband and I are so VERY, VERY happy with how our home now looks. I feel like I have been on one of those home shows where you walk in to your home and just can't believe that it's yours!!! This renovation was a really great experience any problem that cropped up was handled quickly and without drama. Every contractor that Carlos brought into our home was wonderful and excellent at their job not to mention they would clean up every afternoon. Having a bad contractor work on my home I know the difference and now after working with Carlos my faith in contractors has been restored. I have and will continue to recommended Carlos to my friends he is a trustworthy, patient and above all a really nice guy!!!

  • I obtained quotes from Rose City and another contractor; both A+ listed on Angie's List.  Both prices were comparable but what sold me on Nick's quote was the level of detail in his quote.  He took the time of describing what will be covered and I never felt pressured in any of our conversations prior to the signing of the contract.
Nick and his team sealed the areas to contain the dirt during demolition and construction and they cleaned up before they leave each night.  His attention to detail is remarkable and he communicates upcoming activities so we are kept well informed.
After sending countless pictures and a few samples, his cabinet maker was able custom create a cabinet color that we love.
Despite his attention to detail, Nick did not nickel and dime all the little things that were fixed or added.  The only thing he charged me as  change order was painting the dining room as the wall now flows through to the kitchen.  He did not have to install my new chandelier, new window blinds, etc.
I am so happy with Julio's painting; I look forward to bringing Nick and team back to paint the rest of the house.

  • Luis and his partner were right on time. They were thorough in their approach to first getting the grout cleaned and then carpet. In the end, all the tough stains were removed and they accomplished what we were looking for in about 2 hours

  • I would not recommend them because I was not very happy. It took them eight months to put in my custom made kitchen cabinets. It's still a lousy job and they have to come back and take all the doors off and resand and repaint them. I have to take everything out of my kitchen cabinets again. They did a horrible, horrible job. I finally told them that I had to have a break after them being in my house every day for eight months. I am supposed to call them in March and they will be back to do all of the refinishing again. They also put in the kitchen Italian tile flooring and they put in the wrong color. It was not good and rather than break it up and take it all out I said that I would make the color work. It was one thing after another. They scratched up my new wallpaper and my molding around my windows because they ran lines through the windows instead of running extension cords through the hallway. The pantry is not finished yet either. They would come to work between 11-noon.

  • I recently had granite counter tops and marble back-flash installed in my kitchen. I looked at Costco and unhappy with their service, I was referred to CV Tile. A Costco representative came to my home and showed me 3 X 3 pieces of granite. He could not leave samples and suggested I go to Arizona Tile. Since I had a large area to cover in my kitchen, I wanted a different back-splash than Granite. Costco did not offer other options so I called CV Tile. I worked with Shawn from CV Tile. I found a slab of granite in their yard and was given a piece of the granite to take home. Shawn came to my home and measured the counter top and back-flash. He said he had installed the same granite in a customer‘s home. He called the customer and I was able to see her kitchen. I had difficulty finding a back-flash I liked and called Shawn several times requesting samples. He was very helpful and gave me samples in a matter of days. After the counter was installed I used Catalina Ceramic Tile for installation of the marble back-flash. The total cost was $6,275, approximately the same price as Costco. The granite fabricator did not leave cutting boards (usually a gift) after the granite top was installed. I called Shawn and he delivered two granite cutting boards within a week. I highly recommend CV Tile and Catalina Ceramic Tile. Not only were they the same price as Costco but the service was better and they provided more options for my kitchen.

  • OUTSTANDING Job and an excellent price. George is so careful and meticulous. The floors looked like they had been completely refinished. I had water stains on the granite, but George polished them out and sealed the granite and gave excellent advice on how to care for and maintain both the granite, and the hardwood. Both floors and counters were gleaming when they finished. They spent 5 days. This is one of the best service resources I have ever used. Very personable, honest, capable, and fair.

  • Our personal situation is that my wife and I live and commute between two continents. We do not have the ability to continuously deal with a contractor. We needed someone who was reputable, reliable and professional. Through Angie's List, we found Nexxus. We met Tony and we were pleased with his no *expletive* approach. We agreed to a 2 phase remodeling plan. Phase I cost $75000. Tony was not the least expensive but this was offset by our other needs and the positive feedback in Angie's List. Tony did not disappoint us. His supervisor John and his team were professional and did a quality job. Tony showed up daily to monitor the work and if things did not "look right", he would address the issue until we were satisfied. Tony ended up doing more that what was stated in the contract. He committed to 4 weeks and got the job done in 4 weeks. Tony was always available by either phone or email. We are pleased with the work and we just signed up with Tony for Phase II. Stay tuned.
