Appliance Repair reviews in San Marino

Great! Sarah was so responsive and they managed to squeeze me in the day I called. Communication was great. Jose did a perfect job on the installation. The price was extremely reasonable. I couldn't have been more pleased.

    Lerman Appliances

Service main was very professional and courteous.  He seems to know the problem before opening up the fridge.  Took the microchip board out and told me it would most likely get done by end of next week.  In actuality, it took another week.  We dealt with it and understand there are always delays.  Luckily, we have another fridge in our garage.  Other people may be more upset for the delay if they only had ONE fridge.

    Pasadena Appliance Service
Archie was an exceptional technician. He said he's been at it for twenty five years. His experience really showed. He was very pleasant and explained everything to us in detail. We couldn't have been more satisfied. He even recommended another more reliable brand if we should ever be in the market to replace the unit we had. I was in a customer service oriented profession before retiring, so I know a little about providing good service to clients. Archie missed no marks in informing us of our problem. I wouldn't hesitate to use his service again.

    Around The Clock Appliance Repair
I gave them my location in the very beginning. I sent the guy an email trying to scheduled an appointment. I got no answer, so then I called them. I was directed to call another number and when I finally spoke with someone, I was told they don't service my area. There was miscommunication and I thought it was unprofessional.

It was terrible.  He came to the home where my tenant was waiting.  He looked at the dishwasher, which I believe is a Viking brand, and told the tenant that he could not fix, then left.  Granted, my tenant only speaks Chinese, but I had given this service person my telephone number and asked for him to call me once he inspected the unit.  I got no call, no repair, nothing.  He just came, looked, and left.  I can't imagine that an older Viking dishwasher cannot be fixed (there was no physical damage), however, at least a phone call with some effort, and details of what the problem might have been would have been helpful.
This guy was lazy, and showed no interest in helping his customer understand the issue, nor did he take the time to do a thorough inspection.  I am not truly convinced that he could have been 100% of the problem.
    I'd recommend using another service.

    Universal Appliance Service Inc
The scheduling was easy and the repairman showed up as scheduled.  He was able to figure out what was wrong and ordered the necessary parts.  We previously had another repair service come to fix it and after spending much more than what Universal charged, the problem was not fixed.  We are waiting the parts to come, but it seems like they know what they are talking about.

    Local Appliance Repair
We enquired Saturday morning, he responded by email in an hour and we had a technician out in 3 hours, and the work took about 1/2 an hour.   Nice clean courteous service guy , he seemed to a good and reasonable job getting the dryer back in shape.
Dryer is about 4-5 years old, outside in our garage.   We have had the control unit replaced earlier (did that myself).   He know about that problem, and 5 years in an outside enviornment is what he sees on bearings/pulleys on a dryer with a lot of use, and our is.
I was surprised they got a person out on Saturday on the same day we called, and he had the parts with him as well.

    Callforfix Appliance Repair
Came in quickly and diagnosed the problem. Had the pump in his van and replaced right away. Only charged $70 for service + cost of pump. Office called several times to let me know Mike was running late. It is REALLY hard to find a good appliance repair, especially for the Fand P dishdrawers. I am VERY happy with this service.

    Local Appliance Repair
I  have been a member of Angies List for several years. I use the list because I want a reliable, HONEST, contractor who is reasonable and someone I can trust to call again in case I have problems.
I am not going to use AAA Your local appliance Repair again for the following reasons:
    1. Boris, the technician, took one look at the dryer and even without laying a hand on the machine, told me it is going to cost $285.00 to repair the dryer and $125 to clean the vent. When I said that I may as well buy a new dryer, which only costs around $ 500, he said that I still have to spend money to clean the vent. He said that he has to change the fuse and the sensor. I assumed that from experience he knew what the problem was and I accepted to pay him $ 385 for the job.
    2. Immediately after that he wanted to use our bathroom. He had been in the house only about 5 minutes, but I did not think much about this. When a man has to go, he has to go!
    3. Boris spent about 10 minutes cleaning the vent. I stepped out to answer a telephone call and 3 minutes later, when I came back, he said that he had fixed the dryer. Indeed he had! The dryer had heat again. I asked him did he do anything more than just clean the vent. He said something vaguely that he changed the fuse and the sensor. I guess that somehow miraculously in three minutes he was able to open the back of the dryer and change the fuse and the sensor and put it all back!!
    4. Since I had agreed to pay him the $ 385, I did. Boris came hone at 305 pm. He left at 332 pm with $394.00!
I sincerely believe that AAA Your local appliance repair is NOT an HONEST business. I believe that they take advantage of people like me who do not have the knowledge of the appliance and hence who trust them to do an honest job.
AAA Your local appliance repair has no business to be in Angies List.
Angies List is meant to be for people to find Honest and Reliable businesses, who will not take advantage of the customer's lack of knowledge on the appliance.
    Thank you.

    Spencer Service
Our Maytag washing machine would not operate because it showed the top was open when it was in fact closed. The Serviceman, Guy, arrived when they said he would. He went through a complete diagnostic of the mechanical and digital components of the machine, and identified the problem as the controller board for the machine. He said that he could get the part and fix it for about $400, but that based on his experience the machine would continue to develop problems and that a new machine would probably be a better decision. He gave us some recommendations as to brands with the best machines. All in all, an excellent experience.
