    Kaiser Permanente
We are real happy with them. I am not happy that they raised their prices as much as they could this year, but I like the doctors that we have. We both had major surgeries with Kaiser and it went well. We have not had any bad results from it. I like having everything in one roof and it is nearby where we live. We are near the Calmare Hospital so we are all set up. It is easy to get an appointment. We have had good doctors. My husband is a cardiac patient and he has a wonderful cardiologist. We have a good primary care doctor that we like a lot. I never had any problems with them. They also have a wonderful online communication where you know your doctor and usually get a reply within an hour.

    Tri-City Medical Center
I went there because some of the specialists I use, use Tri City. I thought that they were very nice and very efficient. I would give them an 'A'. I had an heart attack there while recovering from surgery. They were well prepared for that sort of thing. If you are going to have an heart attack, that is the place to have it. We did not see any much of the doctors except my cardiologist and I adore him. I guess they handled the billing wonderfully because I never got a bill.

    BrightStar Care - Escondido
Our family at the time was going through crisis.  We were dealing with my father?s Parkinson?s disease
and my sister was dying from a failing liver.
We obtained services from Brightstar, Vince and Christine Maniscalco, to
help care for my father.  Our time was
split between my sister and father and we needed help.  Vince and Christine Maniscalco, seemed to be
a blessing at the time.  Once my sister
passed away we no longer required services so we let them go.  I received a phone call from Chris Maniscalco,
saying she needed  payment in cash.  I asked why she obtained my debit information
if she wasn?t going to debit the account.
She said she didn?t have any
debit information from me (I knew I gave it to her).  I didn?t argue, I paid it.    About
four month later we noticed she debited the account for services again.  We attempted to contact her, but they told us
she is no longer was with the company.  A
few month later we received a letter from them saying our financial information
was missing from the file.  They believe
that Vince and Chris Maniscalco took this information with them when they
left.  They recommended we take the
necessary steps to protect ourselves, so we did.   I?m writing this to hopefully save someone
from losing hundreds of dollars like we did.
I don?t know that I would ever give debit information again.  I will pay by check each month.

    CVS
For my over 60 vitamins they have me on a special insurance policy.  I pay $12 for 750milligram of vitamins and it cost $38 in the large departmental stores.  They are very informative.  They are very helpful, I needed a prescription and they called my doctor because I did not have any more refills and my doctor approved the refill for me.

    CVS Pharmacy
Gave up trying this store, the pharmacists are always all  out  to lunch or unavailable; one Sunday the whole prescription department was closed with the grille down all day which was not  helpful.  Don't see how this location can  provide the pill needs of Cal State U San Marcos which is its natural market.   Try any OTHER CVS for anything more medically necessary than cigarettes/beer/liquor.

    Medco Health Solutions
Exactly as expected. Shipping prescriptions fast, other items slow. Does not send out warnings that supply running low when needed for renewal or that doctor renewals needed in advance. No **** tax to CA.

    CVS Pharmacy
NO GO, PHARMACY CLOSED ON SUNDAY, SECURITY SCREENS ACROSS. Do not depend on this place for anything more critical than hairspray. Even when open, takes hours or days to do simple prescriptions with attitude.

    CVS
Generally excellent, nice and knowledgeable pharmacists and cashiers. Don't expect mid-day prescription pickup: ALL the pharmacists go to lunch and close that department in midday. Prices good on frequent sales/ extra cash bucks but otherwise a bit high on general merchandise and health-nutrition items. A great improvement over Lake San Marcos store and CVS stores in big cities and eastern suburbs.

.They are good. From people I know that have had other insurance when they get to Kaiser they are very impressed by the efficiency and very organized group. I will continue with them.

    RALPHS PHARMACY
Because I had been a Federal Government Employee before retiring. Kroger (Ralphs etc.) Hates public servants. We are like welfare recipients.
