    Hillcrest Upholstery
Hillcrest did a fabulous job! The pattern repeat was perfectly matched on all 8 chairs so that they were identical. As a seamstress i know that this takes forethought and planning...but the end result is wonderful. They arrived on time to pick up the chairs and delivered the finished product back to us a couple days early.

    True Grain Woodworks Inc.
This is the fourth project weve completed with True Grain Woodworks and we cant wait until we start a fifth. Owner Steve Medeiros is a perfectionist in every sense of the word, even calling me about a flaw in my design that required a 3/32nd of an inch inset on a table leg that would not be seen unless you got on the floor and looked for it. (Stop reading this and go look at a ruler and see how ridiculous 3/32nd of an inch is in real life! Undetectable to us mortals, but not Steve.) His attention to detail is unbelievable and it separates him from everyone else. You simply cannot find this precision and craftsmanship at Crate & Barrel, Ikea, Jeromes, or even other custom cabinet shops (I have extensive experience with each). Best of all, Steve will help design your project so that you can select the exact size, color, and finish the way YOU want it not the way a generic piece is mass produced by a furniture chain store. You simply will not regret working with True Grain Woodworks. Steve is a gem.

    Just Chairs
Carolyn Jones is not only an expert upholsterer but also a skilled woodworker. Because of this she was able to expertly repair a cracked leg on one teak chair and re-upholster all of the chairs. I am extremely pleased with the high quality of work that she performed. The chairs once again look new although they are 30 years old. My only costs were 25.00 a chair and the cost of the teak oil. Carolyn completed this job in a very short time period, only one week. Carolyn specializes in restoring and upholstering chairs. Anyone who is looking to have a chair restored should contact Carolyn. She has restored numerous pieces of furniture modern and antiques. I highly recommend her services.

    Acme Moving Company
It went very smoothly. We were treated with respect as were our furnishings. That was unique compared to our prior moves. They made it far less painful than our other moving experiences. We found them through Angie's list and I can see why their reviews are so good.

    MrTuner
Our Kawai was played nearly every day until our daughter left for college. Since then it has only been brought to life by the occasional guest.
We wince when we hear an instrument that has not been kept in tune and searched for the most qualified technician possible. Jeff Lehman (Mr Tuner) fit the bill perfectly. He was trained by one of the best who had kept our piano in perfect tune for years. Jeff is highly regarded by his many references. We were impressed by his pleasant manner, professionalism and the quality job he did bringing our piano back into perfect tune. You won't be disappointed.
Contact Jeff if you would like to see and hear a short clip of the great job he did on our Kawai.

    U.S Draperies and Blinds
He is really good. They do drapery and blinds, but they will also install windows, screens, and doors. He will go anywhere. My mom lives in Medina Woods and he did her windows and they are so beautiful I had him come down here and do mine. He is just very knowledgeable. The owner, Dave, is very knowledgeable about materials and the different options for whatever you are doing. I am just really confident that he will give me the best product at the best price. He is great. He is very, very dependable. He calls to follow up and make sure everything is okay. There was an issue with the way the windows would be cut and he called me to ask which way I wanted to go, because it may be a little bit more to do it this way. The guy who came out to do the final measurements suggested it, but he called me to double check and let me know that it was going to be a little extra per window. He has been really good.

He has a lot of contractors that he has work for him and I think he gets really good people. They do anything. Whatever you need done he will get somebody to do it. He had someone paint my mother's condo. I am also going to have him reupholster my sofa and chair. It is a really good sofa and chair that I got at Ethan Allen 20 years ago. I was looking at buying new ones, but he offered to reupholster at a price that was half of the cost. So I decided to take a chance. If I don't love it, it is not like I spent a huge amount.

I would give him an A+ for professionalism.

    Leatherman Restoration
He said he would add more foam to the top however I said that if he felt it needed the foam completely replaced then I would pay additional to do it right. Instead he cut corners and added foam so now there is a lump which hasnt settled down like he said it would. I asked him why he did it this way when he delivered it and he said to keep the price down. I reminded him like i said before i would pay more to do it right since he already would have the couch apart. He knows his business and was prompt and speedy but I wish he would have fixed it right so the cushion isnt higher than the others.

    Franco's Upholstery

Franco's was very professional and helpful.  I took the chair in and they helped me pick out fabric.  We also talked about the chair being a family heirloom that I wanted restored, but not refinished.  I wanted the generations of baby rocking to be evident.  When I went to pick up the chair, I saw that the back cushion was not satisfactory, so they happily re-did it to my satisfaction.  It was due to lack of communication on my part, not theirs.

    True Grain Woodworks Inc.
Excellent.  Customer approval of everything if desired.  Easy to work with, contractor showed which ideas would not work and how to substitute very well.   Delivery ahead of original schedule even with getting hardware from far-away distributors.

    INSTALLATORS
He was really good. He was helpful in recommendations for additional plumbing. He wasn't trying to sell me additional servics but he showed me things to look at in the future. It was a tough installation and he didn't add any additional fees. He did the job and cleaned up.
