    The White Glove Movers
The White Glove Movers moved all the contents of my home to a new home 3 1/2 hours away. From the first moment I am at and receive my estimate from The White Glove Movers, I had immediate confidence in their ability to move me without a hitch. Their word is their bond. If they say they will call you back they call you back immediately I received my estimate within hours after meeting with The White Glove Movers. Follow up until moving day was great… I received email letting me know that they were ready to move me and that my moving date was a fast approaching, Always with the message to reach out if I had any questions. When I did reach out with questions prior to move date, they were quick to respond. Every step of the way I was being assured that all would go well. Moving day came and the two gentlemen and that came to move me, Erik and Ronnie, immediately instill confidence in me. They were ever so careful with my boxes… All my items. They were quick and efficient… But most of all, they were professional, courteous and kind. all of my items arrived in great condition. unpacking was quick! I was treated so well all the way around by The White Glove Movers that I would highly and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone moving. They made a very emotional and life-changing experience pleasant and stress free. Thank you The White Glove Movers...👏🏼 BRAVO BRAVO! 👏🏼

We had two Pods/containers on two days. We used Thunderhorse both days. They were prompt, efficient, experienced, and professional. Everything arrived in perfect condition. We had enough packing materials, but if we had not they had their available at reasonable cost. That is important, because that would allow them to keep working seamlessly. They were able to load the largest POD in 4 hours which was amazing! We highly recommend this company!

Hiring these criminals was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made in my life. They are outright thieves, liars and conmen. They stole my mattress and box springs, three oriental carpets, which I had had since a child, fine art I bought myself for my 21st birthday, my large antique hall mirror, stole two flat screens and delivered one broken, my vacuum cleaner, my step ladder and step stools, my late husband’s sword collection, my porcelain Chinese umbrella stand (they unwrapped it, removed the umbrellas that were wrapped inside it, delivered the umbrellas and stole the stand), my ironing board, two box fans, two bookcases, a standing lamp, my patio table and its two wicker chairs, two large glazed ceramic garden pots and for me the very worst thing of all, my entire original Ph.D. dissertation, which was in strong artists’ boxes. They must have liked the boxes and thrown out the contents without caring, which also included the originals of my short stories, my college transcripts and the magazines my stories had appeared in, all gone forever. They use two tricks, both being using words with meanings they’ve changed. The first is the word “missing.” Anything they stole they described as “missing” as if it was an accident. Things that are missing are random, a box here, a table leg there. What they stole from me redecorated someone’s apartment from bottom to top. The second trick is the term “first arrival date”. Their spokesperson, whose name is Jim, a friendly, casual sounding guy (at first but once they had my things became threatening), defined this term as the first day I wanted my things to arrive. After they had my things and I had driven 3400 miles to my new home, they wouldn’t tell me where my things were or when they would arrive. When I called four days after that defined first arrival date to find out why they were late he said to me, “It’s way too early for you to start complaining yet.” I went to the police and they said that statement was not the statement of a businessman but of a criminal. They arrived a month late in a rented truck, only because I threatened to turn them in to the IRS and kept calling. Finally, after over a month, the extremely unpleasant woman at the undisclosed warehouse where they had taken my things without permission or my prior knowledge, told me a driver was on his way. She wouldn’t tell me when he would arrive or give me his phone number. The truck that arrived was driven by an illegal, extremely nervous Arab named Jamal, who kept saying on the phone the day he was coming that he might not show up. When he did he brought no one to unload, he wouldn’t unload and had no ramp (I had heavy furniture and a piano) to unload from the high semi-truck bed. The first thing he said, which he nervously repeated, was if anything was “missing” he had a new baby and that he didn’t care about his wife but he did about his baby! He was confessing stealing my things! He demanded that I give him the final payment, which had to be cash or postal money order and said I had to write them out to him, which is not what was originally told me. When I showed him the money orders already were written out to the company, he said I had to go to the post office or bank and have them changed. Luckily, he was as incompetent as he was criminal because he had gotten lost so didn’t show up till 6 p.m. so I pointed out that everything was closed and then he accepted the money orders as they were and demanded the receipt stubs! The post office had said do not give them the receipt stubs but he threated to not open the back of the truck but to just drive away with my things if I didn’t. I photographed them and then gave them to him. The head of United Van Lines (thank you to him) told me it was clear they weren’t reporting that money to the IRS (I have reported them to the IRS) and that what they charged me was twice what United would have. He also went over the contract they had made me sign and said it was phony and illegal and he called the driver several times to get him to show up and monitored where he was and sent five United professional unloaders to unload for me (hire United, not this criminal company). He said he didn’t think it was a real company – that it sounded like a guy with a phone in a skyscraper in Miami. I am sure that if United hadn’t intervened, I would never have seen any of my precious things again. What they didn’t outright steal they broke, including my mother’s precious dining room table (they wrenched the legs from it by packing it wrong), my 150 year old heirloom bed from my godmother (broke the side rails), my valuable Japanese tonsu chest (broke a foot off of it) and things were broken in every single box marked fragile for the kitchen and the glass of most of my framed pictures and art. It was devastating. They stole or broke at least half of my possessions. If I had to do it again, I would drive it myself with UHaul rather than hire them if no one else was available. The owner’s name is George – he claims he’s in Indianapolis and is a small businessman. What he actually is is the closer. As soon as Jim thought he had me close to convinced to hire them, he handed the phone to George, who got me to agree. These are professional thieves and conmen. If you value your possessions, under no circumstances hire these criminals.

    NorthStar Moving Company
Junior, Wendell, and Kevin arrived at the right time. The lead, Junior, immediately walked the house with me to take inventory of the items to be moved and to go over paperwork. Once they got settled on what to pack, they worked nonstop, carefully protecting and loading our inventory. They were all very professional, courteous, and respectful. They were fast, yet did quality work. They even wrapped some paintings for us to take in our truck. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Nice job and thank you for making the experience a pleasant one guys!

    Sterling Van Lines
This was my first experience hiring a moving company and I was nervous! Using Sterling Van Lines to move a vintage bedroom set from L.A. to the Central Coast of California turned out to be a great experience! Everyone I communicated with at Sterling was helpful and professional.  They called and showed up when they said they would, sent paperwork right away, and handled the logistics of pick-up with my online seller. The movers showed up on time, took great care to wrap each piece of the furniture professionally (and double wrapped the large mirror) and called us ahead of delivery. The delivery guys were friendly and professional and each piece of furniture looked exactly as it did when I inspected it before purchasing. I was very relieved to find that it all went so smoothly and the price was reasonable.  My only problem with Sterling Van Lines is that now I am going to be buying a lot more furniture!
