ASkyline Landscapes, Inc.We contracted Skyline Landscapes to fully overhaul our ~5,000 sq ft backyard and are thrilled with the results. They followed our landscape architect's design flawlessly, and the results are gorgeous. A few specific things worth noting: - Skyline's bid was very thorough and covered all changes in the landscape architect's design (Note: Some other companies who bid omitted key details) - When Francisco (Skyline's owner) made suggestions, they were very well thought through, improved the aesthetic, and added substantial value to the final results - I appreciated that when we made changes, Skyline gave us an incremental work estimate, so I never felt like there were any surprises - They were very conscientious working during COVID. The entire crew wore masks consistently and we felt very safe having them on our property. - They were here and working every weekday meaning we never had to worry about if or when they were going to show up. This meant the project completed in line with estimates. Overall Skyline Landscapes were extremely professional, did an excellent job, and we would happily hire them again in the future. -Adam- Adam C.

Anselmo also keeps you informed through your entire job on how things are progressing. When you add work or change your mind, he adapts quickly, comes up with great solutions, and is just a total pleasure to work with. His prices are totally reasonable by SF standards and I would hire him to do more work for us in a heartbeat. I wish all contractors had a customer experience like Shaping and Restoring does. AShaping & Restoring LandscapeI initially hired Anselmo to upgrade our landscape lighting which over the course of 20 years had become largely non functional. I found him online and he had great reviews. I explained the project over the phone and he came by the next day, He was thoughtful, explained the options, easy to communicate with, and responsive throughout. He finished the job relatively quickly too. Coincidentally, my landscaper of nearly 15 years was retiring and so I hired Anselmo and his team to takeover the landscaping at our home. They’re great! They’ve done a bunch of projects for us from tree trimming to planting to irrigation repair. I’m very happy with the results. I highly recommend Anselmo and his team!- Bill R.

AShaping & Restoring LandscapeI couldn't be happier. Anselmo did a great job on our landscaping project. It included some hardscaping (concrete sitting wall, block retaining wall, and DG area), lots of grass, planting, irrigation, pruning, clean-up, and fencing. Throughout the project Anselmo was on-site and hands-on. He and the team are hard-working and know what they are doing. Anselmo was very responsive to changing requirements and always with a can-do positive attitude. He took full responsibility for his work. If something didn't come out right then it was simply re-done. No need to argue.. Results are great! Pricing-wise I found Anselmo to be very reasonable. Two thumbs way up! Easily the best contractor we ever hired (and we had a lot of them...) If you are looking for a contractor who will give you a beautiful/detailed spreadsheet in a nice shiny folder with the company logo on it, then Anselmo is not your guy. But if you want someone who just knows his stuff and is pleasure to work with, then you found him... Update: I'm writing this about a year after project completion. Anselmo's work held very well. We have a really beautiful front lawn. There were a couple little things that needed to be fixed (a plant that died, some irrigation, etc.) and Anselmo came by and fixed them in no time. We have another project coming up and I'm definitely going to hire him again.- Avner S.

We also install new irrigation or lighting systems and build new fences or fix old ones. And also haul away any garbage dirt, concrete, to the dump.

AAmazing hardworking team. They were friendly, responsive, punctual, and easy to work with from start to finish. Exceeded our expectations by completing the project in one day at a reasonable price. Our backyard was a jungle and now we are happy to say that we can actually walk though the whole thing. Would highly recommend!

ALittle did I know that when I went to Ahmad's website on 2-13-20 and filled out his questionnaire....I would be sitting here today a little over a month later with my new front yard. Who would have known that as he was almost completing the journey of this transformation.....life as we knew it would change with the Coronavirus and I would be one of the first counties in California and the US to be "sheltered in place". He did his due diligence and researched if/how he could complete the job, and voila....on 3-19-20.....he gathered his "troops" and worked from sun up to sun down to finish my beautiful yard. We started with a yard that my parents had landscaped 52 years ago and ended with a masterpiece. Ahmad was able to figure out what to do with a gopher population here that no exterminator was able to eradicate...to keeping some of the original plantings for my sentimental purposes that would work with the design. What continually impressed me was Ahmad's vision and his ability to pivot when need be. It was obvious from the beginning of our relationship how artistic we was and his extraordinary knowledge of flowers, plants, soil, drip systems, lighting, etc. From the start we knew what the budget was and he continually made sure to keep me informed every step of the way. Most important to me was that I trusted him!! He is down to earth, so very honest, and.......delivers what he promises....many times over and above! And.....a huge bonus.....everyone in his "crew" is amazing as well! During this sad, chaotic pandemic that we are living today....I am able to walk outside and gaze at my creation and bend down and touch my new flowers and plants.... courtesy of Ahmad.... and feel content and peaceful if even for a moment. Bottom line.....Ahmad Hassan...is an extraordinary landscaper...an honest visionary.....who I now consider a friend for life!

AI know reviews tend to be either all good or all bad... I am giving them and A because they did do a great job. Like any job that is big like this, there are always little things you work with and find and adapt too and so its not like some magic experience, it was like any other construction project. There were issues, questions, small decisions that needed to be corrected... but in all this, they were friendly, honest and made the work that needed to be done. They even helped me move my spa into the right place... they really are good people from sales to the crew... so if you are looking for solid work, with honest people... these are you the people.

AI needed to repipe my house due to the copper pipes under the concrete slab where leaking.The repipe team that came to my house was great it was a team 4 guys and the first thing they did was to put drop clothes every where they walked and worked. the amount of holes in the walls was at a minimum. The job was scheduled for 1 day and everything was completed in about 5 hours they replaced all the piping from where the water comes into the house running copper from outside the house and once in the attic they ran Pex. they also wrapped all the hot water line in the attic and in the walls. the time it takes to get hot water to the kitchen( the furthest from the water heater) is greatly reduce. The person who the the wall patching did a great job you can't tell there was anything ever done in the walls!

FCalled this guy for an estimate, he came out couple days later. Walked around yard, described what work wanted done, got his feedback and input, he took his notes and measurements then said he would get me a written estimate itemizing all details of the work, cost etc. Ok Dago, on his way he went. That was two weeks ago. Not a peep out the guy, sent text message to ask if estimate ready and my email address to send to when it is. Been completely ghosted by this contractor. In the mean time had other contractors come, given me estimates and here I am waiting to make decisions on major projects need completed this summer. For a top rated Angie's list contractor at the top of their recommended listing for this work, really surprised by this unprofessional-ism. From taking a closer look at this guys company profile, notice he hasn't had a review in over 6 months on here. Guess he just picking and choosing his next projects particularly. If you not what he looking for.....he just ghosts you. I don't know if he cheap, expensive or reasonable priced....with no estimate I am in the dark as far as this contractor goes. Moving on and I recommend you do too if you want an estimate that actually COMES.
