    This is the first time I have used a travel agent for personal travel. (I have used several agents for business travel.) Marie -- the owner -- was as responsive as one cold possibly hope for. Time and again she made a point of ensuring that the arrangements she was making met my needs completely. This was important both because of the number of specific places I had to be at, at which other people would be waiting to meet up with me, and because the purpose of the trip involved a personal matter that affected my entire family. I could not have asked for greater attention to detail. On top of that, when I found I had to make changes, thye were greeted with nothing but a highly appreciated willingness to accomodate. Galvans is definitely an agency I would use again, and I have already referred Marie to other members of my family. Thanks, Marie.

    We had the worst experience ever.  We found out that 98% of the users are from outside our country.  I am ashamed to say that we had a rat on-board.  The chemicals that they use are the cheap toxic ones.  I had to go in and it took me over an hour to clean the inside of it after we got it, in a clean condition.  I got a headache because of the fumes and then I had to put a fresh ground coffee overnight.  Thank God, we did not have to go right away but a lot of these people go there right off the airplane and they are stuck in these things.  I had papered all the drawers and everything and we found a rat because he was nibbling all my paper, toilet paper and stuff.  They did give us our money back.  But that is not good.  Seeing all their advertisements we ventured to try Cruise America since we had even our granddaughter with us and it was awful.  There was another scam.  How many people end their vacation on a Monday?  It is usually on Sunday that they end the holiday so that they can go back to work on a Monday.  But with Cruise America the RV cannot be returned on a Sunday, so one end up paying for an extra day.  For the size of the van we had, we paid $200 a day, though we did not had the huge size.  Initially they told us to call them at a certain time the day before to actually be able to reserve it.  So it took me an hour and a half to get hold of somebody and in the end to get hold of somebody I called the emergency road service.  If one is in the RV and there is an emergency there is a button that one can push and their response to that was bad too.  Even that took nearly five minutes.  So if the RV breaks down we are screwed.  In the end they credited us some money back.  But basically the guy laughed when I asked him if they use green cleaning things and he thought it was funny.  He said that they use the most toxic ones.  As for their professionalism I talked to few people who were professional.  I liked the girl at the desk and she was good but for most part I think they really have serious issues.  The thing that makes me so upset is the kind of perceptive that people are getting coming right off the plane to our country.  A lot of people are using it for the first time and they all experience the toxic fumes.  I talked to a few people when we were waiting to get out van.  I am embarrassed and ashamed.

    The refrigerator wasn't working in my RV so I called and made an appt. They told me I could drop it off one day and pick it up the next.  When I got there, Greg looked at it immediately, determined the problem, (it wasn't the frig, but the operator!)  He then showed me everything I need to know to use the RV and made sure that I understood and could actually do everything.  He did some routine maintenance stuff and fixed a few minor things.   And he didn't charge me enough, in my opinion, for all the service he provided to me.  Nor did he make me feel stupid for not knowing how to do things.  When I did a google search and saw that this business was in my home town, it was all the better.  The next closest shop was in San Jose and Redwood City.  And I didn't need to leave it overnight, I was taken care of immediately.
