    A2B Movers
At first, we thought it went well except that the truck wasn't big enough to move all our items. Once in Vacaville, the movers stacked 80% of our boxes and furniture in the garage. I asked for boxes labeled "kitchen" and "master bedroom" to be brought inside, but this wasn't done. The boxes were stacked 6 feet high, many labeled "fragile" or "this was up" were put on bottom of stacks or upsidedown, many boxes being crushed a bottoms these stacks. Once unpacked, 3 boxes contained broken items- my grandmother's antique bowl, an vintage egg plate from Italy, a champagne flute, another vintage bowl, and 2 vintage salt and pepper shakers. All of these items are irreplaceable. FYI, we bought the movers donuts for breakfast, pizza for lunch, and tipped each guy $100 because we know it's hard work. I sent an email on July 4th with pictures of some of damaged items at the instruction of Nubia, who works at A2B. There was no correspondence. I was told I'd hear back from management on the 16th to seek a status update. I sent 2 more emails and called the company with still no results (today being the 27th July). My last conversation with Nubia came with another promise that management would contact that same day, but they did not, along a severe lack of professionalism and excuses as to why the issues have yet to be addressed.

They were absolutely fantastic! I had an excellent experience. They are just really, really good! They were quick, friendly and put all the items where they were! I appreciate them remembering where everything goes!

    Upline Moving Inc
I recently got promoted within my company and needed to relocate from CA to TX. The stories I've heard about moving companies weren't so good and I wasn't sure where to go to get the best information about the industry. A couple of friends had been successful in finding other types of reliable service providers (plumbing/electrical) through Angie's List so I figured I'd give it a shot. Upline Moving was one of the first companies I checked out and I'm glad I did. The process of moving to another state isn't fun, nor is being away from your belongings for a week or two, but Upline did the best they could to make sure that the entire experience was painless as possible. First of all they were upfront about everything. They didn't make unrealistic promises no matter what I threw at them, which made me feel more comfortable about using their services. The price was comparable to what I had been quoted elsewhere but the service and communication were both outstanding. I received my shipment just a few days ago, and while I'm still going through the boxes, everything looks great. I will definitely be recommending Upline to any friends or family who are in need of a mover.

I was very impressed at how well the movers protected our furniture while maintaining a pretty rapid pace of working. Our home is a 3 bedroom and these guys got all of our boxes packed and our items wrapped in about 5 hours. After everything was loaded they drove us to the new location and continued to work throughout the night. They set up all of the furniture where we wanted it
to go (after we changed our minds a few times) and even helped mount my new TV on the wall of my man cave. Upline Moving was fantastic. They stuck to the price they had quoted me, they didn't break our stuff, and left our new home ready to be lived in. I highly recommend these guys.

They were patient with me when I wasn't sure whether to store or take a box or item; letting me search thru the contents while continuing on with their work. They worked all day tirelessly, refusing drinks or food, preferring to get the job done and eat afterwards. They were all friendly, pleasant, cheerful, respectful, helpful, accommodating, professional, and strong! I will request them again when we buy a house in our new city, Oakland CA. Every phone call with the main office was responsive, prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. There were no hidden fees or extra charges. Everything we needed to do the job well was included in their very reasonable $160/hr for the 3 man crew, materials and moving van.

    NorthStar Moving Co
I found Northstar here on Angie's list and I choose them for my big move from California to Texas.  Moving is stressful enough with all the packing and preparing and Northstar definitely made a huge difference.
Michael was very friendly.  He had come out twice to give me an estimate on the stuff I had to move because my inventory had changed drastically.  Even after the 2nd time, I had a few extra items that Michael allowed on the trip without any price hikes (thanks).  After the 2nd meeting, Michael quoted me a very nice price that satisfied my budget, and the date was set.
Our movers arrived on time in California and had everything boxed and packed within 3 hours.  I had a small condo so it wasn't too much stuff to move; it was around 40 boxes and some furniture.  I'm not the absolute best packer in the world so I already had in mind some stuff that I thought would not survive the trip.
Come 7 days after sending everything with them, they arrived and unloaded everything into my new apartment.  The movers were a little late because of some problems with the previous customer, but they still arrived not too long after the appointed time.  I live on the third floor and I felt a bit bad for the movers having to climb up my 30 stairs, but they were still able to get all the boxes into place in under 4 hours.  After unpacking, ripping, tearing and trashing all the boxes, to my surprise, everything survived.  They did a fantastic job in transport and nothing was damaged.  The movers were also very professional and very friendly and during the unpacking process; we had a great time in conversation and story telling.
The only down side to them that I can even think of is their delivery window is very large for long distance moves.  They are able to offer cheaper quotes to people because they package multiple moves into one shipment, thus reducing the cost to them.  Unfortunately, because of this, they give you a 14 day window, which means that you can be sitting in an empty house/apartment for 10+ days, and that limbo can be very stressful.  However, if you want the best price that matches high quality, nothing beats Northstar.

    NorthStar Moving Company
Northstar arrived at the early side of their two-hour window; the crew called when they were about 15-30 minutes away. We did all the boxing, so Northstar just had to wrap and move. So far most furniture looks like it survived (more damage from earlier moves). Largest damage noted so far is when our clothes washer slid off the moving trolley and was scrapped by an adjacent water pipe - fortunately the pipe survived; we'll know about the washer when it is hooked up. The crew was able to get a very large heavy bureau up a very narrow stairwell with a 90 degree turn - the bureau hit the walls several times, but it looks like there are just scrap marks - no gouges requiring patch work. Overall reasonably happy with the move compared to prior moving experiences.

Nemur, Pedro and Carlos were awesome. Even though it was pouring rain for most of the day and they had to dodge our dog who was supervising the move, they were in good spirits, quick, and totally professional the whole time. We would use them again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend them.

They were fabulous, more professional than the national team that moved us from Washington state to the Bay Area. They wasted no time, moving as fast as is humanly possible and were all charming and friendly and fun to be around. There wasn't a single negative thing I can say about the experience. Hire this provider!

    Bekins Northwest
I am quite to respond about quick and primarily because of the woman who moved with permission was wonderful. I have nothing replaced for her and the moved out of the house in Washington was excellent. We moved into the house down here although the guy who supervised to moved out was here, the crew we had down here was not anyway was good. They did not involve the covering of the carpet in the house, though they tracked the dirt in, there seemed corrections in them of furniture, I guess, that something you have just to expect when you moved. They did not put everything back together what they will somewhat have meant took them apart. Maybe that is why, I am not sure. I was not this happy on the sense as I was in moving out. I would say October 3rd or 4th. That I do not remember, it was over $2000. That was because I moved with bundled with the move of the friend of ours. So, there was a good thousand dollars off but it would have been if we have not fund of it with our friends moved. For us, it was an A, but I am not saying that, that was what it goes to be for other people. The quality was great, I am not just comfortable giving that was fair, I mean, you guys, but not me. It is applicable but I am not comfortable giving you A letter grade, it is not accurate and I am assuming, I am looking for accurate information.
