    This was my 2nd follow Appointment with Rebecca Zachau P.T.

    She is very qualified.  On first visit she went straight to heart of my particular problem after a short examination.

    She gave me a plan to implement to fix the problem

    She gave me exercises to do to strengthen my shoulder surrounding the problem area without aggravating the problem area further.

    Progress was assessed and new exercises introduced.  My shoulder is getting better.

    I used their facility in Oakland, CA.
    Overall it was a pleasant experience. They were punctual and knowledgeable.  They had the 2 vaccinations I wanted. I had one administered. They had the 2nd vaccination, but I requested a prescription because of the possibly that my insurance would cover it. They do not submit to insurance companies. They charged for the Rx, but they were accommodating.
    Compared to 2 other travel vaccination providers I contacted, Passport Health was far more reasonably priced.

    I've been seeing him for 15 years. He is a very good diagnostician and he's a nice guy. He is so popular he's gets booked up fast and it is hard to get an appointment. He gets to where he can't take new patients. The staff is great. He spends so much time with his patients that he is always running behind.

    Primary doctor wrote a referral and provided preparation instructions. Got appt notice in the mail, and more prep instructions. Called to negotiate a different day/time. Followed the prep instructions (eating a fairly lopsided diet for a couple days, drinking 2 cups of icky tasting liquid less to drink than previous time I had to do a bowel prep). Upon registering, was ushered into large exam room. Read & signed some informational & consent forms. Was handed a large cloth wrap with a big square opening in the middle. A private bathroom adjoins the exam room. In addition to the toilet, there was a padded chair & disposable surface covers to facilitate changing. Doctor adjusted the color monitor so I could see real time video from the camera. The show was not my choice for entertainment but it was helpful. At least it gave some focus (or distraction) for my mind, and in this situation it was to appropriate thing to watch. It wasn t a pleasant feeling, but as promised it was over quickly. It took a few minutes to pass the gas that was introduced during the procedure but otherwise no lingering effects. The computer-printed results were available before I finished changing back to regular clothes. Facility has a cafeteria & coffee bar so you can eat something normal after everything s over. On Weds, there s a Farmer s market in the plaza area, so you can get something more out of the ordinary (in a good way) to eat.

    $15 was my copay for an office visit w/ lung & skin testing payments vary according to coverage (e.g. how much do you or your company pay for premiums each month?). There was no charge for any of the email follow-up. When you call this office, you do not get routed to a far away call center. Either the receptionist is there/available or she s not. Leave a message and they do call back.
