Lighting Installation reviews in San Leandro

LAR Construction & Remodeling worked at my house to do an addition. They achieved each and every milestone of the remodeling and they completed the addition within the agreed time frame AND the agreed budget. I liked all the services that they did at the house, including the management over all the additional vendors that worked in addition to the team. My addition project was managed on the best side that included daily and weekly reports and the communication from my project manager Eli. The in house working crew was very skilled and they all worked in a fast phase making sure that all my neighbors will have no complains of any kind. The work was done in very high quality (from my point of view and because each inspection was passed right away). I will hire them and recommend them to my friends and family.

All the necessary work was done on time and on budget. His estimate was half that of other licensed electricians. Everything was permitted and done to code. I was sceptical about hiring someone who's estimate was so much less than the others. He did the job right and I am very happy. I would definitely rehire Elco. I saved a ton of money by hiring Mike.

Two visits - one to assess and provide the estimate, the second to do the work. Estimate was fair and Wesley gave good recommendations for making our home safe without needing to completely re-wire. Work crew that came out was efficient and knowledgeable, did a great job, answered questions and were on time (including done when they said they'd be). Would definitely hire again.

Gentec was absolutely amazing. They were responsive, professional, timely. They met every single commitment and even came to the final inspection to see if the inspector had any questions for them. I would hire again in an instant.

I'm so very happy. The bathroom is not only beautiful, but highly functioning. They use the best products and are very responsive. Everything is also easy to clean! I will absolutely recommend them to friends and business contacts. The products are easy to clean and saves on water usage.

Toward the end of May of this year, I decided to remodel/renovate my 30-year-old kitchen. I leave vacation today and knew a contractor probably couldn't start until after I returned. I thought it wouldn’t hurt to get bids and set up the start date. Sam from Green Planet Construction cam looked over the project. Prepared a bid within 1 day. The total was within the range on online consumer tools (Homewyse and Kukun). I decided to engage Green Planet for a start after I returned. Sam said I didn't have to wait and it could be done before I left. It essentially was. Today the new greenhouse window was installed (it had to be special ordered). All other work was completed by the end of June. That's 4 weeks from contract signing to a new kitchen. Sam was on top of everything! He immediately understood my design aesthetic and it took very little time to choose the materials. I can't say enough about Oscar and his crew. I was amazed at the fast pace and quality of their work. This remodel included raising the ceiling, recessed lights, new cabinets, plumbing electrical. new floor covering, baseboards, crown molding, new greenhouse window and quartz counter top. All this is 4 weeks! I am totally happy and impressed with Green Plant Construction and plan to use them again.

This has been a while coming and I apologize for not getting it out there sooner.

Tri Electric is by far one of the best contractors we have ever worked with. Jose Trinidad is incredibly savvy and treats his electrical work as a craft. He is friendly and very professional. He is very well informed with the most current techniques, tools, and regulations, including knowing a lot of various town inspection expectations. His work is very finished and neat. Other contractors have even commented on how neat his work is.

Jose rescued us from another contractor's failed work (It is a separate review in Angie's List). So he was already at a disadvantage as far as I am concerned. He was actually one of about twelve contractors who bid on our job. The only reason we did not choose him in the beginning is because his quote was not a detailed list of work and items. And the contractor who got the original work was very detailed. Almost down to the last screw (Unfortunately, we took that to mean he would be anal in his work, and he wasn't).

Anyhow, Jose came in and honored his original quote. Never said "I told you so" or any other negatives. He basically ran all new electrical throughout our house, which was built in 1922. And the hardest part is that the house is made of reinforced cinder block. That made his life difficult. He also installed hard-wired smoke and CO2 detectors, lots of light fixtures, track lights, and moved an entire new panel from the outside to the inside of the house. He then put up several security lights on the outside of the house.

All of this was done to code. The inspector was very pleased with his work. Jose also did what he could to minimize damage. He had to make some hand-sized holes in order to run some of the lines. Keep in mind that he had to work with a cinder block house that basically has no studs inside. A lot of the rooms are plastered or cement right on top of the outer brick. So he couldn't just find studs to drill through in order to pass lines in a wall. He'd had to either reuse existing holes in the cement, or get creative. And he did a marvelous job.

Jose pretty much works on his own. He arrives when he says he will and puts in full days. We still cannot believe how nicely all our new cabling is run. Nothing funky. No shortcuts. Book him way ahead of time. We cannot say enough about him and we highly, highly recommend him.

Ideal Solar was very punctual even early! The office team was equally if not more professional.  They were careful to have all of my information correct what i needed done and location of services.  I did recommend them to friends.

I responded to the Angie's List deal for a full house electrical inspection. Several fixtures had shorted out and I could see frayed and exposed wiring between the house and detached garage, so I knew there were problems with my electrical system, and I had already received an estimate from another contractor.  Razvan and Dave walked me around the entire house and pointed out potential danger areas, identified which were priorities and which could wait, provided me with a detailed and very reasonable estimate based on our discussion, pulled a permit and started work three days later.  A few days into that work, we discovered the first of many surprises:  Romex attached to knob and tube, wrapped in electrical tape and hidden under plywood in the attic.  My home was built in 1928 and the electrical system had never been upgraded, just added to over the years.  I decided to bite the bullet and have the job done correctly.  I went with Quick Electric because (i) I received carefully considered answers to my questions (and I asked a lot), (ii) Razvan, the owner, honestly admitted when he could not give a definitive answer, instead of bluffing or providing false reassurance, and (iii) he took the time to carefully explain each aspect of the work involved and never gave me the "little lady" response.

Each morning, Razvan would outline the work to be done that day, keep me informed of any surprises or challenges, then go over the results with me at the end of the day.  I was impressed at how hard they worked to find the best solution to each challenge, and there were many.  Despite that, the entire job was completed without leaving ONE SINGLE HOLE in the walls.

The work took 4½ weeks and I greatly appreciated that Razvan did not disappear for days on end to work on other projects, as many contractors do.  He was fully focused on my house, with the exception of a few days here and there, and then he always gave me as much advance notice as possible.

I have overseen several commercial build-outs and renovations in San Francisco high rises and can say with assurance that Quick Electric's work is solid.  They are fast, efficient, courteous, and professional, and have that old-world work ethic that is sadly missing with so many service providers these days.  If you are considering an electrical upgrade or any major electrical work, I can highly recommend Quick Electric.

I have used Jose before and liked his work so had him do these things. He responded to my email promptly and we set a date. He contacted me the day before to make sure everything was set and was at the house on time. He did the work in a short period of time and cleaned up.
