Home Builder reviews in San Leandro

    Home Healing Renovations Inc
Called and spoke to a very nice gentleman, took all the info on what I needed done and when i would like the job completed. He said he would discuss with his boss and get back to me "likely later that day." Never called back, been two weeks now. Look, I get if you're busy, but have the professionalism to call back to decline the job. That professionalism is what people will remember when the market declines, and it will decline again.

    Everlast Construction
My wife and I had made an appointment
to have them come review our home for a remodel project.  We are very busy and they were able to accommodate
a Sunday morning appointment.  30 minutes
prior to the appointment we received a call to reschedule.  The reason given is that we did not ?confirm?
    the appointment after several attempts.
    1.)  We
were called the week prior to schedule an appointment?the appointment was
    scheduled for Sunday Morning.
    2.)  We
were told that they tried to call us to confirm and left messages?.My wife did
check her call logs and there was a missed call from the # below but no voice messages
    were left.
When we made the appointment it was never communicated what
the process was. We should have been told that we needed to ?confirm? the
appointment but more importantly, no messages were left to confirm and who to
    confirm with.
We moved our Sunday morning schedule around for this
opportunity for Everlast Construction to bid on this large remodel project and the
person that called was rude and unprofessional.
Suggestion, their construction quality is likely very good so
we cannot speak to that but be very careful of their scheduling process. If you
get a call from 925.334.7600 and they don?t leave you a message call them back
if you want them to show up for the appointment.

Duarte & Sons Construction & Painting
The Duartes were very professional and easy to work with. They did all the work to specifications, asked good questions, and had good solutions to the minor issues that came up when they opened up the back of the house. They were as clean and quiet as possible and even minimized the amount of time we spent without hot water when they had to move the water heater. We've heard horror stories about working with other contractors, but we never had to worry about that. There were no surprises with the Duartes; they were here everyday until the work was completed. We never had to wonder about where they were or if the work was getting done. They also worked well with the building inspectors and architect.

    NG Construction
Nick and those he hired did a great job. He was actually referred to me by my house painter, and they both worked together on schedules, figuring out when each of them could come in and work, without getting in each others way. Nick always checked in with me at the end of each day (usually by email, as was my preference) to let me know what progress was made that day. He and his crew cleaned up after themselves and did exactly what they said they would do.

    RDM Construction
He straight up told me no and that he was too busy hanging cabinets.  I'm not even sure what that means.  I was waiting for him to say when he would be available or at least give me some more options.  There were none.  It sounded like he just wanted to rush off the phone.  I felt that this was not very good customer service.  In my mind, the right thing to do would be to tell me when he could help me.  If he can't help me right now, I understand, but it would be good to know when he is available.  I just felt it was inappropriate.  This guy is on Angie's List and offeres the work so I took the time to give him a call.  We are all busy.  I just feel he should have given me some more options.  It was like he didn't even want my business.
