I have waited to write this review until the first 6 weeks recovery was reached. I had surgery on May 22 2017 and today is July 5th and I have been pretty much pain free! After suffering for 10 plus years and in chronic pain since September 2016 when we returned from out River Cruise. I tried everything that had worked in the past from my Chiropractic treatment to spine injections, steroids that caused 30 pounds weight gain and a nerve oblation procedure. They eased a little of my pain but only for a week or two...when my pain returned with a vengeance. When I finally agreed to consider surgery I met with Dr. Burdi. He was thorough in his examination, X-rays, MRI that he went over the results with me. He showed me how my L2&3 disc had collapsed and were now bone on bone causing my extreme pain. He said I was a perfect candidate for XLIF surgery side entrance to remove the collapsed disc. I was more impressed with his explanation of my problem and how the XLIF side entry surgery could fix & relieve my chronic pain than the Neurosurgeon's back surgery I was considering. Not only am I now pain free but my recovery has been every bit as amazingly easy as Dr. Burdi described. I am moving with such ease it is hard to believe I had major back surgery just 6 weeks ago. My little scares are healing and very small. Mission Hospital"s Spine Surgery floor was impressive and the staff very caring. I know understand how people love their Doctors and Dr. Michael Burdi is the best!

I have been seeing the doctor for about 2 years. He has been true to his word when he said he could fix my foot issue with surgery. After 12 years of pain that is a huge deal. He is very compassionate. He is located in a huge practice that handles many types of services onsite as far as ex-rays, therapy and surgery. I have had no issues with scheduling. He is an amazing doctor.

They did a great job. The orthopedic doctors use a surgery center which is in the building they work in. They were fabulous. The office environment was very nice. The staff were all very professional and I felt very comfortable with the anesthesiologist. My husband had a very good experience.

The office is large, with appointment desks and personnel operating from both sides of the waiting area. Both times it has been very busy. Can be a bit hard to hear your name called after you sign in. The first time there was a bit of a wait in the treatment area once I was registered. The second time I was seen on time and after a minimum wait received treatment. Everyone was very pleasant. Both times treatments were successful. Dr. Lonnie Moskow is a well known and well regarded hand specialist. He came referred from multiple sources , including physicians, fellow RNs, and hand therapy specialists. If you need orthopedic care of any kind I would recommend the doctors at South Couty Orthopedics

I took X-rays. I was concerned about my deteriorating hip. He looked at the X-rays and he said your hip is fine. And when I described the symptoms, he kind of twisted my leg and do what doctors do. He said he think it's my sciatic, he thinks that is were the problem lies. And he thought that physical therapy would help, so he sent me in. The pain was in my hip area, but it was resolved to the sciatic nerve. One time I broke my left hand and he had me in his office the same day. If you are going in for a regular appointment, you probably need to call a couple of week in advance. But if you've got a real severe problem, they fit you in right away. The staff is very friendly. The communication is very good. I know exactly what is going on when I walk out of the office.

Saw Dr. Thomas on January 28, 2012 and he sent me for XRays and an MRI of neck and what I thought was also my shoulder. Dr. said he wanted a follow up appointment in 4 weeks.  It took 2 weeks for him to schedule the MRI (that's how it's done in California)
When I called his office to make my appointment for the follow up, his receptionist told me to wait for his call with MRI results, to eliminate another office visit.  I waited another full week and called back and was told I HAD to come back in. Now it has taken 4 weeks total, just for the MRI. 2 weeks to schedule, and 2 weeks to be given my results.  REALLY UPSETTING
I was given an appointment (due to cancelation) at 11:15 this day. The receptionist called me to come to the room and then said "oh, I already have someone inside, please wait here".  I waited for an hour and a half  for him to enter my room. When I tried to leave & reschedule, they told me he was busy until the end of March.  He acted like he had no clue what he had seen me for and began asking me if I had any tests??? I was shocked. He then informed me I had to take another MRI for my shoulder, as both tests could not be done at the same time.  I asked him why he didn't schedule both for me and when I pressed him to give me details about the findings of this test, I was given less than competent answers like 'a lot' and 'several' but nothing definitive. I was baffled that he didn't seem to read my chart or my results as he was so overbooked he couldn't care less.
It's typical that when I was so behind on my own schedule, I forgot to pay my $15.00 co pay and can you BELIEVE, HIS OFFICE CALLED ME THREE TIMES within a 12 hour period.  It's been 6 weeks of pain and sleepless nights and yet, no resolve with this doctor.  I am still in shock over the lack of concern or follow up.  Seemed to be more interested in courting my insurance & definitely overbooking, before actually trying to help me in a timely fashion.  One month for MRI results are unacceptable
