    Precise Home Builders
There needs to be a distinction between the Precise employees and the sub-contractors that they used. The Precise office staff was responsive and Dino was good about the design and the layout. He made meetings on times and was helpful during the design process. The execution of the project and the work that the sub-contractors did is another story altogether. The sub contractors would drink alcohol while working on our house and would leave their beers in the house for us to clean up. The workers would use our toilets and would get urine everywhere (a portapotty was placed outside for the workers to use). Food scraps were left inside the house. This remodel had us living in another portion of the house while the remodel was taking place so we were directly affected by these working conditions. When we raised these concerns to Dino, his questions was "what do you want me to do about it? I can't watch them every hour of the day." Ultimately Dino put a sign up that told the workers to not do these things. Some days the workers would comply, most of the time I had to do a sweep of the house every single day that I got home from work to clean up after the workers. The subcontractor's project manager Sheron/Adolfo could not organize things in a coherent manner. Some of our walls were painted 4 or 5 times because they would paint without completing the patches to the walls or other work that impacted the painting. We had some workers who would tell us that corners were being cut and only after bringing it up to Dino and having arguments over it would things get fixed. We took to being present when the building code inspector was examining the house so we can know what the problems were and ensure that things were done properly because we did not trust the sub-contractors . On one occasion Dino expressed that the inspector was wrong and that he was not going to follow their instructions and that the inspector would never see what would happen because it will be covered by cement. I had a major argument with Dino at this point and told him to follow the building code inspectors instructions or I would be forced to call the Better Business Bureau as well as the County Inspectors. Finally, precise complied. The worst of the planning errors that impacted our remodel was the flooring in our kitchen. The drywall had not been completed in the kitchen but the stone tiles were installed and grouted. We expressed concern over the white powder from the dry wall getting into the grouting but was assured that nothing would happen and that everything would be covered up. We come home one day and find out that things were not covered up and were assured then it would be an easy clean up. The drywall powder had worked its way into the grout and could not be cleaned out. Precise then had to send multiple people out to clean the tiles. They were not successful and Precise told us there is nothing further that they could do. We did not want to have tiles with splotches of white and grey grouting. We ultimately had to hire our own contractor to remove the grout and regrout and seal the tiles which further delayed our project. Our project was only supposed to take 6 months but instead took almost a full year. Precise told us that there was a one year warranty on their work and we have had to make use of it many times for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. Even now we are dealing with some electrical problems.

    Rose City Construction
Rose City Construction was professional, clean, courteous, and always above board. The owner, Nick, communicates well and often, so I always knew what to expect and when. It's clear that he and his workers care about the quality and craftsmanship of their work, as evidenced by their suggestions regarding what to use/buy for the project, attention to detail, and their enthusiasm for a job well done. The best compliment I can give is that they earned my trust, and that is a rarity in construction. I highly recommend this company, and I will use them again.

    IND Construction Inc
We hired IND Construction for a complete kitchen remodel in my 1940 home. This is the second time that we hired IND Construction. IND Construction completed a fabulous main floor bathroom remodel for us two years ago. We were so happy with the results of our bathroom that there was no question as to which contractor we would use for the kitchen. David and IND Construction were our guys! David is extremely knowledgeable and offered suggestions that were helpful and in tune with our taste. His workers are craftsmen who are well healed in their trades. They also were reliable, honest and trustworthy which is equally as important. Davids bid was very reasonable for our remodel especially given the quality and level of craftsmanship that he continually delivers. The project was estimated to be completed in 3 months and was actually completed a week early. We are thrilled with our new kitchen as you can see from the beautiful pictures! We have a master bathroom remodel coming up in the near future and you know who our contractor will be......David and IND Construction! Thanks again David!

    Spazio LA
We contracted with Spazio LA (Essi and David) to remodel our formal dining and sitting area. Their team is very professional all throughout the project. Both Essi and David are very responsive to our questions and concern (at all times). We also added a new wet bar which Essi designed and picked out a beautiful countertop. He also helped us in selecting floor tile (and grout color to match). David guided us through the remodeling every step. He always checked to make sure the work is completed to their excellent standard and our satisfaction. Overall, we will not hesitate to work with them again in the future.

    COASTAL WOOD FLOORING & SUPLS
Coastal Wood Flooring & Ralph are awesome. We shopped around at several different places, driving to Van Nuys, Anaheim & North Hollywood. Of all the suppliers / show rooms, Coastal had the most extensive selection to choose from and they were very, very competitive when it came to cost considerations.
Ultimately, we purchased just over 3400 sq ft of new, pre-finished wood flooring for our remodel from them, which was received via delivery in a very timely fashion.
BONUS points - a small problem resulted when we placed a second order for additional flooring. Our installer (not from Coastal) installed it and incorporated with the larger order, failing to notice that there was a significant color inconsistency. We talked to Ralph and he went to bat for us with manufacturer on the defective batch. End result - we could not have been happier with the outcome, all the way around, thanks to his attention & advocacy.
We were very happy with service and highly recommend! Will use them again.

    IND Construction Inc
David's bid for our project was priced very reasonably.  He wasn't the highest nor was he the lowest bid that we received.  Most important, the job finished with absolutely no overruns or additional costs.  The job was also completed on time.  IND Construction did a fabulous job on our main floor bathroom remodel. David was always attentive to our needs throughout the project. His workers were always conscientious, on time and very professional. At the end of each workday, the workers always made sure that our home was left cleaned up and we were never inconvenienced. Any unexpected issues were always addressed and corrected promptly and to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend IND Construction and will use again for future remodeling projects. Thank you for a beautiful bathroom!

    Rose City Construction
We first discussed this project in late October, and I asked Nick if he would be willing to do the work over the Christmas & New Year's Holidays.  I only had this period available to me, and luckily, they were willing to take on the job at this time.  As the kitchen wall locations did not need to be changed, the electrical needed no modifications, and the plumbing and floor work was minimal, it was possible to do this work in a short time by measuring for the counters and cabinets and fabricating them in advance.  We began on Dec 16 with demolition, floor work and plumbing ending on Dec. 17.  On Dec 18, the counter and cabinet frames were installed and the measurements made for the counter tops.  We actually finished one-half day early that week, so I was able to go to work on Dec 20.  On Dec 26, the counter tops, sink and a matching quartz window ledge (a last minute add-on by Nick) were installed.  Again, we finished about one-half day early this week.  On Dec 30-31, the dry wall, texture, crown and base moldings were added, and the plumbing connections were made.  On Jan 2-3, the cabinet doors arrived and were installed.  Also the major appliances were installed and hooked up to the power, water, and gas.  Almost everything was installed and working at the end of the day on Jan 3, and we have enjoyed putting all our things into the new kitchen this weekend!
Each day, Nick showed up at the appointed time with his workers.  His sub-contractors likewise showed up on time and with the needed materials.  All his workers and subcontractors are competent and well-mannered.  All of this required meticulous planning and execution at a time of year when many firms slow down for the holidays.  I have to hand it to Nick that we were on time or ahead of time throughout the project.  This is the second job he has done for me (the last in 2011), and both were excellently done.

    US Home Developers Inc
Thank you, Meir Sabach, for turning a huge lemon into lemon cake!
In October, my elderly parents were contacted by someone supposedly from US Home Developers (USHD). Some illiterate guy named Tom came out and contracted with my parents to install a new vinyl floor in the kitchen, hallway, and 3/4 bathroom. We didn?t know it at the time, but I think Tom was either a disgruntled employee, a soon-to-be-fired employee, or had just been
fired, because he brought in someone named Jose Elias (of Elia?s (sic) Construction), who brought in another yahoo and they made a terrible mess of the entire floor. They also scammed my parents with unnecessary plumbing. My parents were very
upset and ashamed that they?d been taken advantage of by these scumbags. Realizing what a huge mistake they made and looking at that awful floor every day made them feel defeated. When I saw the floor, I was outraged. I tried to call Tom, but the guy who answered sounded completely stoned and was totally incoherent.
Then I called the main number for USHD.
Meir Sabach answered, and immediately offered to set everything right. He came to meet with us a week after Thanksgiving and promised to professionally install a new floor in whatever style and pattern of vinyl my parents wanted. Four days later, the installer came over to take measurements and show us samples. Seven days later, they began work. It took a little over three days (half of which was taking out the old flooring), but my parents now have a beautiful new floor just in time for Christmas! They are now very happy, and now so am I. Thank you, Meir!

    M&M Custom Flooring
Wanted to hire M&M for the job, but I was way over on my budget for my full house remodel as is, and had to opt for another floor re-finishing company.  While I feel okay with the company I opted for, I think M&M would have done a fantastic job if it wasn't for my budget situation.

KJ & M CARPET COMPANY, INC
KJ & M Carpet Company were great and pretty helpful. Generally I think they are pretty nice and responsive. Overall they are pretty good. The reason I didn't use them was that they didn't have the carpet brand that I wanted. Overall I had a good experience with them and the only issue was that they didn't have the carpet brand I wanted.
